Ex Raids In Pokmon Go
An Exclusive or EX Raid is a special sort of Raid you can only participate in by invitation. Invitations are given to players who battle at EX eligible Gyms during a time of high traffic with some small bit of luck on top. Otherwise, invitations can be shared between Ultra and Best Friends. If you have a high-level friend who gets one, they can invite you to the EX Raid as well. The last EX Raid Boss was Regigigas, the leader of the Regi Titans Trio however, Niantic has currently suspended EX Raids in the interests of public health concerns.
Pokemon Go January 2022 Events: Raids Research Breakthrough And More
Here’s a look at what’s happening in Pokemon Go next month.
2022 is just around the corner, and Pokemon Go is ringing in the new year with a variety of events and activities. Over the next few weeks, the Pokemon mobile game will be holding new legendary Pokemon raids, and a few other in-game events. Here’s everything that’s happening in Pokemon Go in January 2022.
How To Get Raid Passes In Pokemon Go
In order to take part in a Raid Battle, youll need a Raid Pass. You can earn one Raid Pass each day by spinning the Photo Disc at any Gym. If you run out, you can purchase a Premium Raid Pass from the Shop.
There are now also Remote Raid Passes available in Go. These are ideal for trainers who cant leave the house, as they let you join any Raid Battle thats on the Nearby screen or tappable from the Map View.
Remote Raid Passes can be bought from the Shop, or received as free gifts every now and then.

Mountains Of Power Event
Pokemon Go is holding a new event called Mountains of Power from Jan. 7 to Jan. 13. Few details have been revealed so far, but more information will be announced as we get closer to the event.
In the meantime, Pokemon Go’s winter holiday event is underway until Dec. 31, and Kyurem is currently appearing in five-star raids. You can catch up on everything else happening in the game this month in our .
How To Join A Pokemon Go Raid
In the Pokemon Go overworld, trainers will periodically see Eggs appear at certain Pokemon Gyms. These Eggs will be accompanied by a timer, when it reaches zero the Egg will hatch.
Trainers can find Raids nearby when pressing the nearby function in the bottom right corner and tapping the Raid section. The level/difficulty of the Raid will be determined by the number of symbols near the Egg in this section or by its color. Level 1 Raids, which are the most common and easiest to defeat, have pink-colored Eggs appearing over Raids. Level 3 Raids have yellow Eggs while Level 5 Raids have purple Eggs with white stripes. Mega Eggs are beige and red in color and pop up as often as Level 5 Raids.
To participate in the Pokemon Go Raid, trainers simply have to be at the respective gym within 45 minutes after the Egg hatches. As long as you have a Raid Pass — which is given out for free once per day at your first Gym PokeStop spin of the day — you can have a shot at taking down the Raid boss. If you want to do more than one Raid per day, you can pick up Premium Raid Passes from the in-game store for 100 coins apiece.
There are also Pokemon Go Remote Raid Passes that allow for trainers to enter any Raid even if they are in a different country. Trainers can pick up these special Raid Passes for 100 coins in the in-game shop or pick up three Remote Raid Passes for 250 coins.
Inviting friends to a Raid is pretty easy. Trainers just need to follow the below steps:

The Best Nidoqueen Raid Counters In Pokmon Go
These are the best Pokémon to counter Nidoqueen in Pokémon Go.
- Alakazam: Confusion and Psychic.
- Metagross: Zen Headbutt and Psychic.
- Garchomp: Mud Shot and Earth Power.
- Exeggutor: Confusion and Psychic.
- Clawitzer: Water Gun and Crabhammer.
- Samurott: Water Fall and Hydro Cannon.
At the end of the battle, trainers will be rewarded with Pokémon Go Premiere Balls depending on how they performed. This includes how much damage was dealt, if they played with friends, or if players are a part of the same team. Fortunately, Nidoqueen has the chance to appear Shiny. Raid Battles are amongst the best place to find Shiny Pokémon outside of Community Day events.
If the lobby is able to fill up with 20 trainers, then at least one of them will be guaranteed a Shiny Nidoqueen at the end of the battle. This works with all types of Raid Battles, even for legendary Pokémon. Overall, trainers should probably save their Remote Raid Pass for other raids. Since trainers can find Nidoran in the wild, it’s fairly easy to get a fully powered Nidoqueen. Capturing it in Raid Battles does make the process faster though.
Pokémon Go is available now on iOS and Android.

How To Avoid Triggering The Dodge Glitch
When a Pokemon dodges an attack that would KO it if undodged, the client and server often disagree on whether the Pokemon really faints. The Pokemon will visually disappear and no longer be able to use charged moves. This doesnt occur in solo raids. This glitch appears to have been mostly fixed as of May 2019.
Whos Stronger Mew Or Mewtwo
Mewtwo is confirmed to be more powerful than Mew. Its safe to say that Mewtwo is no longer the strongest Pokémon, but still high up on the list. Despite the power of Mewtwo, there are other Pokémon who are much more powerful. Were simply positing who would win in a one-on-one battle between Mewtwo and another Mon.

- Leave battle before wiping out to avoid the all your Pokemon have fainted screen.
- Use an A team battle party if you plan to revive and re-enter with your main team.
- Use a B team battle party if you only need a little bit of damage.

Joining A Raid Battle
Don’t Leave The Battle At The Same Time
If both combatants retreat to the lobby at the same time , the raid boss often regains some HP when they rejoin the fight. This can make a duo attempt impossible. Its not known why this happens – the client and server probably disagree on the amount of damage done.
When battling a raid boss against whom both combatants will likely have to rejoin the fight, stagger your lobbying to prevent boss HP regain. Player A can retreat to the lobby after 2-3 Pokemon faint, while player B waits until after player A rejoins to retreat to the lobby.

Heatran Weaknesses And Counters
Heatran’s Fire/Steel typing is a strange combination, but it’s not short of weaknesses. Ground-type Pokemon are Heatran’s PokeAchilles’ heel, dealing four times the normal amount of damage to it. As such, Ground-type Pokemon like Excadrill, Groudon, and Landorus’s Therian form will work wonders against Heatran, especially if both moves are Ground-type.
If Ground isn’t your style, Water- and Fighting-type attacks will deal big damage against Heatran. Blastoise and Gyarados would make excellent options, as would Machamp and Lucario for top-notch Fighting moves.
Niantic Removes 2 And 4
Rewards are also being increased for one and three-star raids.
Along with releasing the list of monthly content for September, Niantic also decided it was time to shake up how raid battles work in Pokémon Go.
From now on, two and four-star raid battle tiers have been completely removed and the Pokémon that would have appeared in those raids will slot into either one or three-star raids moving forward.
Rewards for one-star raids and three-star raids are increased to what two-star and four-star raids awarded, respectively. We’ll be releasing a more detailed update on these changes soon. Thank you!
This will depend on which tier the Pokémon would have been originally classified in, so any two-star raid Pokémon will be moved down to one-star, likewise for four-star to three-star. To compensate for this change, the rewards for both one and three-star raids have been bumped up to what two-star and four-star raids awarded, respectively.
Further changes could be made in the future to define exactly what Pokémon belong in each tier, outside of Legendary Pokémon being locked into five-star raids. Reward levels could also be changed to fluctuate depending on the Pokémon being included in individual raids rather than by tiers.
Niantic will be releasing a more detailed update on these changes in the near future, but for now, you can expect little to actually change at a base level from this raid tier consolidation.

No More Four And Two Star Raids In Pokmon Go
Prior to Mega Raids being released, Pokémon Go had two other Raid types: Four Star Raids and Two Star Raids. Four Star Raids were combined with Three Star Raids, while Two Star Raids were combined with One Star Raids. The difficulty remained at Three and One Star levels, while increasing the rewards, making all of these battles more accessible.

How Do I Get Premier Balls
Premier balls are exclusive to raids, and are the sole type of Poké ball that you can use to try and capture the raid boss if you successfully defeat it. You cant collect premier balls using the ordinary means, and will instead earn a set number depending on the following factors:
- Defeat the boss: five premier balls
- Damage: up to four premier balls
- Gym: up to two if you control gym
- Team contribution: you gain extra premier balls depending on the damage your team, as a whole, inflicts
- Friends: Raid with a friend to receive up to four extra premier balls
So, as you can see, its possible to earn a fair number of extra balls by paying attention to the above.
