Random: It’s Halloween Already According To These Cute Pokmon Figurines

Okay, so, setting aside the fact that Halloween is two months away, we have a bone to pick with these adorable little gacha collectibles.

We already know that Pikachu is capable of dressing like a ghost, because we have one very compelling piece of evidence a ghost as Pikachu:

Image: Pokémon

That’s an easy costume for you, Pikachu! You just dress like someone else dressing like you! It’s the last-minute Halloween costume of your dreams!

But no, according to Takura Tomy’s new Halloween gacha collection, apparently this is what Pikachu as a ghost looks like:

Image: Pokémon

What happened, Pika? You look less like a ghost, and more like an umbrella. Then again, in Japanese myth, umbrellas can be pretty scary, too.

The other two figurines a Sobble and a Toxel, with lil Jack O’ Lanterns are much lazier when it comes to costumes, both wearing nothing but a tiny witch’s hat. Honestly, that’s a big mood we approve of lazy Halloween costumes, having spent way too much time in our youth putting together elaborate outfits only to stand out at a party because everyone else is just dressed normally.

The Halloween figurines from last year were a little bit simpler, starring Pikachu , Morpeko, and Yamper with pumpkins:

And the year before, where Pikachu had a much better idea of what ghosts look like, but seemed to get the mixed up with zombies all the same:

Regardless, we recommend using a team of Smack Down Tyranitar, one Ice type for Dragonite, and one Electric type for Gyarados. Or you can go with a full SD Tyranitar team. Roughly 8% of Invasions are using this taunt.

CUTE POKEMON AS MONSTERS! (Pikachu & Charmander)

Possible encounters feature Dark type Pokémon.

Shiftry

Grunts using this taunt will use Dark type Pokémon. The Poochyene line is weak to bug, fairy and fighting, whereas Murkrow is weak to ice, electric, fairy and rock, but there are also grass types for the last encounter! A solid rock type like Rhyperior will help deal with Murkrow and Sableye, or a strong fighting type like Machamp or Lucario for the Poochyena family. To deal with the grass types in the back, have a strong fire, bug, fairy or fighting type to deal with the final Pokémon. You are guaranteed to encounter a dark/grass type, so you can bring your best Bug type as it is 2x weak to bug attacks.

What Pokemon Does The Fairy

Currently, the Fairy-type specialist only uses Pokemon from the Snubbull family. Her first Pokemon will always be Shadow Snubbull. Her third Pokemon is always Shadow Granbull. However, the middle Pokemon can be either Shadow Snubbull or Shadow Granbull.

RELATED: Pokemon GO: How To Get Every Eeveelution

Snubbull and Granbull learn a mix of Fairy-, Normal-, Dark-, and Fighting-type moves, but none of them should give you any real trouble so long as your Pokemon are of a decent level. Focus on using counters against them and don’t worry too much about resisting their attacks.

If you are worried about resisting their attacks, Dark-types are weak to both Fairy and Normal, so they might not be a great choice.

Dont Bother Ive Already Won / Get Ready To Be Defeated / Winning Is For Winners

Pokémon #1
Gyarados

This encounter can be particularly difficult, depending on the line up you get. Snorlax is always tough and there is a chance you could encounter three of them. There is a good chance you will encounter a Snorlax so you will likely want a fighter on your team, either Machamp or Lucario. We also recommend Raikou or another strong Electric type in the lead to deal with Gyarados and then have shadow ball ready in case Gardevoir is in the second slot. Then you could bring an Ice type or maybe Tyranitar to deal with the 3rd Pokemon encounter.

  • Lead with Fighting type
  • Have Ice and Electric types in back.
  • Metagross with Meteor Mash and Dialga are also good back up options
  • Ursaring with Fighting moves is surprisingly strong in this match up
  • Dragonite with any Dragon-type move set as it has bulk and great neutral damage output
  • Lucario with double Fighting is also good, as its second type is Steel and that helps him a lot in this fight

Credits for the counters go to Silph Road and PokéBattler .

Pokemon Go Team Rocket Pokestops Stops: How To Find The Team Rocket Invasion Rocket Stops

Check out my SUPER cute #Axolochi

The center of the Pokemon Go world is of course Pokestops, and so it’s no surprise that the Team Rocket Invasion of the game begins with them rebranding some of them into Team Rocket Pokestops, or Rocket Stops for short.

You’ll be able to spot a Rocket Stop from a distance – invaded Pokestops feature a glitching icon above them, the cube that sits above the stop twitching and changing from the regular blue color to a darker shade. When you get closer, it becomes clearer that it’s a Team Rocket Pokestop – it turns black and has a gigantic R logo above it, for Team Rocket, and a Rocket Grunt will appear near it.

Team Rocket members only appear at and invade Pokestops for thirty minutes at a time, and they’ll therefore move about from Pokestop to Pokestop. Essentially, each invasion is a random, limited time event. Each Rocket Stop is universal, however: so it’ll appear as a Rocket Stop for all players for the duration of its invasion.

The actual Rocket Stop functionality isn’t anything to worry about – instead, the thing you should be concerned with is the Team Rocket Grunt. Like a Pokemon encounter, you’ll be able to tap the grunt in order to interact with them – except against a Grunt it’ll engage you in a trainer battle, which functionally works just as it does with player-versus-player battles. You can fight an unlimited number of grunts per day, but only once at any given Pokestop.
