Community Day Voting Pokemon Go

Mass Transfer Event Pokemon

THE BEST POKEMON TO VOTE FOR! POKEMON GO COMMUNITY DAY 2020

Everyone loves the Event Pokemon with Hats and different forms, but when it comes to clearing up the storage, the Event forms are most hatred Pokemon due to the inability to Mass Transfer them.

According to the snippet found in the GAME_MASTER, it suggests well be soon able to Mass transfer the Event Pokemon.

"pokemon_info_multi_transfer_event_pokemon_final_confirmation""Your selection contains event Pokémon! Are you certain you want to transfer them?""pokemon_info_multi_transfer_not_transferable_pokemon_error""This Pokémon cannot be transferred."

Genshin Impact Still Refuses To Increase Anniversary Rewards Despite Fan Outcry

Previous starters havent done all that well in these polls, but Charmander is different. Charmander evolves into the stylish and powerful Black Charizard, complete with Blast Burn as a Community Day move. Not only that, but its set to receive a mega evolution once that feature makes it into the game, which should be pretty soon.

And then weve got Porygon, a Pokémon I spent endless hours looking for when the game first came out but have got plenty of since. It evolves first into PorygonZ and then Porygon2, and its among the stranger Pokemon of the original 151. And while most committed players have had their Porygon2 for a little while, its definitely the rarest of this set.

So in all likelihood, these will be our Pokémon for Community Day in September and October. Theres still time for a ridiculous upset, however, so if #TeamGrimer wants to make a push to get things together and take the day, now would be the time. Youve got until 6:00 PM Pacific tomorrow, August 23, to cast your vote. In the meantime, pour one out for Caterpie, which I think has a lot of moxie for a little worm.

Pokemon Go Community Day Vote Details

Pokemon GO developer Niantic is hosting a vote for the next two Community Day events, pitting four Pokemon against each other in a battle of fandom or something! The four Pokemon running for video games president are Porygon, Charmander, Muk, and Caterpie. This is a strange group for sure, but they appear to be chosen based on the roles they can play in the game.

Votes will be collected on the official Pokemon GO Twitter account via a poll, starting on August 22, 2020 at 6:00 PM PT. The poll will last for approximately 24 hours, giving everyone who wants to vote a reasonable amount of time to do so. Well, considering the stakes, anyway. The Pokemon that receives the most votes will go on to be featured in next months Community Day event on September 20. Then, the runner-up will also get its time to shine in the following event on October 17. The remaining two Pokemon will presumably return to their local office positions, or perhaps gun for a book deal or talking head on a network commentary show.

Pokmon Go Community Day Voting Is Live And Two Pokmon Are Dominating

Pokémon GO

6:00 PM Pacific Time seems a little bit late to be starting this whole thing up, but I guess this vote runs for 24 hours anyways. Voting for the September and October Community Days in Pokémon GO is now live, and you can head over to Twitter to cast your vote for Porygon, Charmander, Caterpie or, if you have some sort of problem, Grimer. Ill embed the thing below, just to make this easy on everyone:

As with most of these votes in months past, the outcome seems already pretty set. Niantic ran a practice vote using the exact same format, and two Pokémon emerged far and away above the rest:

This margin is already being born out in early voting: I cast my vote shortly after the pol went live, and the vote portions were basically the same as in the practice vote. Pokémon GO players are weird, but reliable.

The winners would be Charmander and Porygon, absolutely trouncing Caterpie and Grimer to take the win home, with a health margin to Porygon as the most popular Pokémon. It makes sense: Grimer is not a terribly popular creature, though not without its charms, and Caterpie is basically a version of Weedle that never developed that particular underdog appeal.

How To Prepare For Pokmon Go Community Day

First of all, the secret allure of Community Day is the introduction of a shiny version of the highlighted Pokémon, which will have a boosted rate during the event. That, combined with the increased spawns, makes it easy to get a a handful of shinies across the six hours.

Remember, unlike high IV Pokémon, shinies don’t appear in the same place for everyone like high-IV Pokémon – there’s a random chance of each one you encounter could be a shiny. If you’re struggling, try ‘shiny checking’, by tapping a Pokémon, then backing out without catching, then moving on to the next.

Second, there will be bonus Field Research. Community Days also have their own special Field Research tasks based on the specific Pokémon the day is highlighting. The rewards are usually just consumable items – Berries and the like – but it’s an additional thing to complete as you play.

Third, every Community Day offers 3-Hour Lures. This is the perfect day to catch as many Pokémon as physically possible, and with the increased spawn rate, increase your chances of finding a shiny.

The best way to take advantage of these bonuses is to find a set of PokéStops that are in quick walking distance or one another. You can then set up a Lure Module in one and then walk between the PokéStops; taking advantage of the Lure and ensuring that you don’t run out of Poké Balls or Berries.

    Community Day Move: Tri Attack

The only currently-unavailable shiny of the four votes, Porygon is a bit of an odd duck in this case. Porygon Z is set to receive Tri Attack; a normal type charged move that lowers the enemy attack and defense in PvP. Depending on the damage, energy cost, and odds of stat change, this could make Porygon Z an amazing glass-cannon Pokemon with the ability to harass with stat drops. It’s hard to say!
