Not Utilizing The Pokdex
The Pokédex, a digital encyclopedia of Pokémon that a player fills out over the course of their journey, is a staple of the series. A player receives the device shortly after starting their adventure, and it provides interesting tidbits of information whenever a player catches a monster for the first time.
However, it also provides some extremely useful tips that most players overlook. Just by seeing a monster once, either in battle or the wild, will log its habitat in the Pokédex. This means that the device will let players know exactly where they need to go for a chance at catching some of the rarest and coolest monsters in the games. ;
Catch Combo Rewards: Shiny Pokemon Better Ivs Rare Spawns And Items
Okay, so heres where we get to the meat of the matter: racking up catch combos in Pokemon Lets Go is well worthwhile because it has some seriously impressive rewards. The rewards break down into a few key categories, giving you the chance to catch more powerful Pokemon with better IVs, an improved change of catching Shiny Pokemon, plus a higher rate of Rare Spawns. On top of all that, you get extra items with each successive combo catch, too. Heres the rewards broken down into another handy list:
- Improved IVs, Better Pokemon
- If you dont know what IVs are, IVs are Individual Values, hidden stats behind the scenes that help to determine how powerful a Pokemon is in battle.
- The higher a catch combo you build up, the more guaranteed IVs will be at maximum for the Pokemon you then catch. 0-10 catch combo has 0 guaranteed IVs, but it then leaps to 2 between 11 and 20, 3 between 21 and 30 and so on. A catch combo of well over 100 will give you 6 guaranteed maximum IVs making a Pokemon hugely poweful.
- Bonus Items, including Candy
- Last but not least, after each catch youre rewarded experience points and also some items. Typically these are lower-end items like berries, but the higher your catch counter climbs the more likely you are to recieve rarer items including high-grade large or extra large;Pokemon Candy which can then be used to boost the power of your team.

Character Actions And Abilities
S.C.O.U.R.G.E.: Heroes of Lesser Renown
Most of the actions in an RPG are performed indirectly, with the player selecting an action and the character performing it by their own accord. Success at that action depends on the character’s numeric attributes. Role-playing video games often simulate dice-rolling mechanics from non-electronic role-playing games to determine success or failure. As a character’s attributes improve, their chances of succeeding at a particular action will increase.
Many role-playing games allow players to play as an evil character. Although robbing and murdering indiscriminately may make it easier to get money, there are usually consequences in that other characters will become uncooperative or even hostile towards the player. Thus, these games allow players to make moral choices, but force players to live with the consequences of their actions. Games often let the player control an entire party of characters. However, if winning is contingent upon the survival of a single character, then that character effectively becomes the player’s . An example of this would be in , where if the character created by the player dies, the game ends and a previous save needs to be loaded.

How To Connect Pokemon Go To The Switch For Pokemon Let’s Go
In order to connect to Pokemon Let’s Go with your Pokemon Go account, you’ll need to authenticate it on both games. It’s a pretty simple process, but here’s a qujick step-by-step process in case there’s any confusion:
Once the machines are synced, it’s easy enough to transfer Pokemon. Take control in Let’s Go on the Switch and head to the GO Park complex in Fuschia City. Enter the complex and press Bring Pokemon. At that point switch to your phone – and because the machines are synced up there’ll be a clear icon of a Switch on the Pokemon menu screen. Hit that, then transfer Pokemon by pressing on them and confirming. Simple!
Your Partner Pikachu Or Eevee Is Amazing
Speaking of great stats, your partner Pokémon – Pikachu in Let’s Go Pikachu or Eevee in Let’s Go Eevee – is consistently brilliant.
Partners have ‘Best’ rated stats in all six stat categories . On top of that though, they also have the ability to learn a number of completely unique moves, from Move Tutors that are found in certain Pokémon Centers around the world. The first one is in Cerulean City, a couple of hours into the game.
Those moves often come with amazing effects, like Eevee’s Buzzy Buzz a hefty 90 base damage and always leaves the target with Paralysis, which halves that opponent’s Speed. If you want to know how powerful that is, it’s the only move to ever do so much damage and garuantee that effect in a mainline Pokémon game! Eevee and Pikachu can learn lots of moves like these – some of which are arguably even better – so always talk to the circus performer-like Move Tutors in Pokémon Centers as you go!
Note, as well, that you don’t have to keep your follower in your party. They’ll always follow you around, but you can still put them in your storage box and swap in another Pokémon to your party if you don’t fancy using them in battle.

How To Unlock Mew
The only way to unlock the mythical Pokémon Mew is by buying a Poké Ball Plus accessory.
All you need to do is connect it to your Nintendo Switch, open Lets Go, select Poké Ball Plus and then hit Communicate, Mystery Gifts, Get with a Poké Ball Plus and Yes.
Word of warning though this only works once per Poké Ball Plus, so it means you cant lend it to a friend for them to get their own Mew, unfortunately.
A Special Controller The Pok Ball Plus Will Release Alongside Pokmon Let’s Go And It’s Less Silly Than It Seems
Nintendo will also release a new device called the Poké Ball Plus alongside “Pokémon: Let’s Go” this Friday. The Poké Ball Plus is primarily a controller that allows the game to be played with one hand. It functions as a single Joy-Con for the Nintendo Switch with two buttons and small joystick in the center. Players can use the joystick to move around and can swing the poké ball at the screen when catching pokémon, as they would with a JoyCon.
While I originally felt like the Poké Ball Plus seemed a bit gimmicky, it ended up being the controller I used the most while playing the game. Though its can take some time to get used to holding it correctly, the ease of the two-button design is a testament to how easy it is to play “Pokémon: Let’s Go.”

Best Nature For Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu And Eevee Starter
The best Natures for your starting Pikachu in Pokemon Lets Go are either Hasty or Naive. Both will increase your Speed, which is really useful for Pikachu. Hasty will lower your regular Defense, and Naive will lower your Sp. Def, or Special Defense. Pick whichever you like.
The best Natures for your starting Eevee in Pokemon Lets Go are Jolly, Adamant, or any Nature that basically has no effect: Serious, Hardy, Docile, or Quirky. The four no-effect natures are good because Eevee is a nice and balanced Pokemon overall . Jolly gives you extra speed, at the cost of Sp. Atk. which isnt much to speak of anyway. Adamant also costs you your Sp. Atk., but boosts your regular attacks, which is a good trade-of in Eeevees case.
Ultimately, though, these are guidelines, not strict rules. Youre free to chose whichever combination best suits your gameplay style. Consult the table above, and see what you like.

Gifted Pokmon Have Really Great Stats
Throughout Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee you’ll be gifted with Pokémon from people in the game world – like we said, it pays to talk to people!
These are consistently excellent Pokémon, by which we mean they have excellent stats. In our experience, gifted Pokémon had ‘Best’ in that Pokémon’s highest base stat, and then ‘Fantastic’ – the tier just down from Best – in two others, with Good in the rest. This means that a gifted Magikarp, say, will often beat a wild Magikarp that you caught yourself. So that $500 for a gifted one outside Mt. Moon is actually a bargain!
Where Do All My Transferred Pokmon End Up
In place of the Safari Zone will be Go Park, where all the transferred Pokémon will frolic. If you want to add one to your party, approach it in the Go Park and start a battle with it. Youll catch it the way you catch wild Pokémon.
Pokémon with high CP in Pokémon Go will also have high CP in Pokémon Lets Go!
Update : The Go Park complex will be in Fuchsia City and contain 20 parks, which will each be able to hold 50 Pokémon so thats up to 1,000 Pokémon that can be transferred.
Once you have 25 of the same species, youll be able to play a mini-game that involves herding Pokémon. Winning this game earns you candies, which you can then use to stat boost your Pokémon.

This item allows you to catch Meltan, a new Pokemon that currently is only catchable in Go and can be transferred into Let’s Go. Lets Go Pikachu: Special Pikachu Moves
In addition to dressing your Pikachu up and having him ride on your shoulder through your journey, one of the big advantages to choosing Lets Go, Pikachu is that you can teach your partner Pokémon several moves that are exclusive to your special Pikachu.
There are move tutors in Cerulean City, Celadon City, and Fuschia City who will teach you these moves. The latter two also teach your Pikachu a flying and water move, attack types that Pikachus arent usually able to learn. Since its weaker and unevolved, moves like this can help you put out a little extra power.

Pokemon Go Features In Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu And Eevee
There are a lot of similarities between Pokemon Go and Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee. The game implements several features from the AR app, and both can interact with each other. Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee features a map which is similar to the one in Pokemon Go, with Pokemon appearing as the trainer walks around. Players can select which pokemon they want to battle as they move around the game world. The capturing system is also heavily inspired by the one in Pokemon Go. When facing a pokemon, a white circle appears around it. Players must then use the Joy-Con to throw a Poke Ball and hit somewhere inside the white circle. Just like in Pokemon Go, there are additional circles which players can hit in order to receive bonuses and capture pokemon more easily.
