The alternative methods for obtaining more than one particular Eevee evolution arent as straightforward as the naming trick and require more work. These usually involve spending more treats and PokéCoins or more walking or both. In addition, the evolution method varies depending on the generation that the Eevee evolutions belong to.
Battle & Trade Online
The online features of Pokemon Lets Go allow players too battle and trade with friends or, if theyre so inclined, random people. When battling, all Pokemon get set to level 50 to keep things fair, although its still possible to use the Key Stone to help things along.
Given the amount of hard work that goes into catching all of the games Legendary Pokemon and tracking down shiny gen 1 variants, the online areas of the games serve as a great place to show them all off. How To Get Glaceon And Leafeon During Community Day
Eevees Leaf and Ice-type evolutions both have their standard methods of evolutions during the event.
Players will need to use a Mossy Lure Module on a Pokestop and evolve Eevee within the radius to get a Leafeon or repeat the trick with a Glacial Lure Module to get a Glaceon.
While these items do cost, Niantic has confirmed that there will be some Research during Community Day that rewards a Mossy Lure Module and a Glacial Lure Module.

How To Get Vaporeon Jolteon And Flareon In Pokemon Go
The first Eeveelutions, Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon are relatively easy to obtain in Pokemon Go. To evolve Eevee into them, trainers simply have to feed it 25 Eevee candy. However, there is no guarantee which of the three Eevee will evolve to once youve used the nickname trick. Itll be a game of chance, but with the low candy requirement trainers will have plenty of chances to get all three.
To Evolve Eevee Into Glaceon:
Note: It would seem as though you need to be within the normal range of the PokéStop in order to evolve Leafeon or Glaceon – not the extended radius. Always be sure to check that the icon in the evolve button is the right Pokémon and not a question mark.

What Does Buddy Adventure Allow You To Do In Pokmon Go
Once you reach Trainer level 2, Buddy Adventure introduces a series of new activities and benefits:
- You can play with and feed berries to your Buddy in AR mode
- Your Buddy will follow you on the map screen
- Increasing your Buddy level unlocks a range of perks, including additional aid during the catch phase, a CP boost, and finding items
- Up to three players can share the same AR space with their Pokémon to take a picture
As before, walking a set distance will earn you Candy, and this still works outside of the Buddy system – meaning you don’t have to have them on the map in ‘Adventure’ mode for this to work, in case you forget to fed them regularly.
You can also swap between multiple Buddies per day, allowing you to earn the above perks across multiple Pokémon.
How To Evolve Eevee Using The Name Trick
Each Eevee evolution can be evolved by renaming an Eevee to a specific name. However, once you use this it cannot be done again, so save this for an Eevee that you are sure you want to be whatever you name them in the list below. Once you rename it, just hit the evolve button and youll end up with the right evolution. And if its during Eevee Community Day then youll end up with the exclusive move listed in that guide.

- Glaceon Rea
- Sylveon Kira
Again, you can only use each of these names once so be careful and use them wisely. Once youve used the name you will have to use the tougher methods below.

If I Already Earned 70 Hearts With Sylveon Do I Have To Earn Them Again
Yes, the Evolution Task is not retroactive. They are similar to Pancham where you need to Catch 32 Dark-type Pokémon or Swirlix where you need to Give your buddy 25 treats. However, there is no progress bar for Sylveon.
Once you earn 70 hearts, a separate evolution button will appear for Sylveon. You can also switch Eevee out as your buddy and the number of hearts will continue to be tracked.
What You Need To Do When Evolving Sylveon
The method is a bit easy, but it may take you a bit of time. Much like the other evolutions, you need to raise your Eevees Friendship at the appropriate amount. The catch is that the Eevee needs to have a Fairy-type move learned so that it evolves into Sylveon the next time it levels up with the right amount of Friendship.
The good thing is that Eevee from Generation VI onwards has a Fairy-type move called Baby-Doll Eyes when it reaches level 9. It can also learn another Fairy-type move at level 29 which is Charm. All you need to do is to have just one of those two, and when your Eevee has a high enough Friendship, it will evolve into Sylveon the next time it levels up.

If you have a Fairy-type move on your Eevee, then all you have to do is to just increase its Friendship. It will take priority over Espeon or Umbreon when your Eevee levels up with a high amount of Friendship. In Sword and Shield, you can actually catch a Sylveon in the Lake of Outrage during a Max Raid Battle. You have to be really lucky to encounter it, let alone catch it.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Vaporeon Jolteon And Flareon
Well get the bad news out of the way first for these three originals, after youve used the nickname trick, were afraid there isnt really much more you can do to guarantee them.
In order to get any more, youll have to revert to random evolutions by gathering Eevees and candies and keeping your fingers crossed that when it evolves youll get what youre looking for.
How To Walk With Your Buddy On The Map And Go On An Adventure In Pokmon Go
To earn hearts from your Buddy from certain activities – such as walking or battling together – they need to be visible on the map screen in ‘Adventure’ mode. They will then walk, fly or roll with you as you explore for a limited time.
To make them appear on the map screen, you have to make sure they are fully fed.
Feed your Buddy some Berries – three regular Berries will do – and their mood will increase, and you’ll be told they will have joined you on an Adventure.
They will join you on the map for around three hours, with a hunger gauge appearing around their icon next to the Trainer button in the bottom left corner.
Feel free to top that gauge up with Berries as you play, or just wait until it’s fully depleted before feeding them again.
Note if you switch between Buddies, their hunger meter will fully empty, so you’ll have to feed them again. While at this sounds frustrating, a benefit is you’ll be able to feed them again quicker if you switch back and forth, and earn some fast and easy Hearts.

How To Evolve Into Espeon And Umbreon
The first time you want to get your hands on Espeon and Umbreon, you can use the name trick detailed above. Evolve an Eeevee called Tamao to get an Umbreon, or an Eevee named Sakura to evolve it into Espeon. After that, you’ll need to evolve them the old-fashioned way, by completing certain goals.
For Espeon and Umbreon, you can also evolve into them based on their in-game method of evolution in Pokemon Gold and Silver back on the Game Boy – based on the time of day. In order to do this, you’ll first need to build a relationship with your Eevee. Set them as your buddy Pokemon and walk with them as much as you can.
Once you’ve walked 10km with that Eevee as your buddy Pokemon, it’s ready to evolve into either Epseon or Umbreon. Just evolve in the day for Espeon and night for Umbreon – and this isn’t limited, you can do it as often as you like!
How To Get Sylveon In Pokmon Go Without The Name Trick
As stated, there are three ways how to get Sylveon in Pokémon Go in total. One of the ways, the famous name trick cheat, we have already analyzed and explained in the preceding paragraph, so it remains to explain the other two. The first method of obtaining Sylveon is via the regular evolution method, as shown in the game.
The regular evolution requirement for Eevee, i.e., having 25 Eevee Candy, remains here, but Sylveon has some additional requirements that have to be met in order to get Sylveon the regular way.
The second thing you have to do is make Eevee your Buddy Pokémon, a concept introduced in the game to earn Candy with a specific Pokémon quicker than usual. Your Buddy Eevee has to earn a total of 70 Hearts in order to evolve into Sylveon, which is a large number.
Why? Well, there are limits to how many hearts you can earn per day. The following lists all the Buddy Activities that can earn Affection hearts and EP. Activities in italics denote that the buddy must be walking in the overworld map to count towards points for Affection and Mood.

A new Eevee evolution has arrived in Pokemon Go. The Fairy-type Pokemon Sylveon is now available in Niantic’s mobile game as part of the Luminous Legends Y event, making this your first chance to add one to your collection. Much like the other Eevee evolutions, there are two different ways to obtain the new Fairy Pokemon, so here’s a rundown on how to evolve Eevee into Sylveon in Pokemon Go.
All The Eevee Nickname Tricks
When Pokémon Go launched, there were no evolution stones – items from the core games that allow you to evolve certain Pokémon. Eevee’s first three evolutions normally require these special items to evolve, so Pokémon Go left Eevee’s evolution up to chance. However, the folks over at Niantic did hide a little Easter eggs in game. Mamoswine Abilities Best Build In Pokemon Unite
Mamoswine will join as the second Pokemon designed to be a massive late-game threat, not becoming fully evolved until level 10. Swinub doesnt evolve into Piloswine or get an upgraded move until level six. This likely means that Mamoswine will become an alternative to Garchomp in being a Pokemon designed to shine in the final minutes of a game.
Once Mamoswine is fully operational, the Pokemon looks to be an enormous threat. Each of its moves has some sort of CC function which should allow it to rough up anyone in a one-on-one situation. Its focus on AOE damage should also make it a big threat around Zapdos.
Mamoswines build will likely be a matter of dealing as much damage as possible with its AOE moves in order to empty out the Zapdos pit and set up a game-winning final push. Buddy Barrier will likely be a solid option in high-level play, but there are multiple attack-focused options between Razor Claw, Float Stone, and Muscle Band that could all see some use.
For the battle item, its clearly best to use Eject Button. Its great defensively in lane and its impactful to have the ability to offensively maneuver to set up big attacks.
