Showdown At Dark City
We join our heroes on the outskirts of Dark City, which appears to be deserted. Even during the middle of the day, there is no one on the streets. When they eventually find some people, they seem frightened of the young Trainersa group of boys throw rocks at them from a rooftop in an attempt to scare them off. In a local restaurant, they find their explanation: Dark City has two Pokémon Gyms, but rather than waiting for challengers, the Gym Leaders try to battle any traveling Pokémon Trainers they find within the town limits. These battles are incredibly destructive and have led to the towns disrepair. Will our heroes also be caught up in the whirlwind of these battles?

The Battling Eevee Brothers
Tracing a path through the woods, the gang comes across a tree with an Eevee tethered to it, next to bowls of food and water. Fearing its been abandoned, they look at the collar around its neck and see an address in Stone Town etched into the pendant. Consulting their map, our heroes find that Stone Town is directly in front of them, at the foot of Evolution Mountain. They decide to take Eevee to the address on its collar and find out whats going on. When they reach the address, they find a huge home with a lavish garden party in full swing, attended by the Trainers of Pokémon that evolve using Evolution stones. Maybe they can find Eevees Trainer here?

Sparks Fly For Magnemite
As our heroes make their way through the industrial Gringey City, Pikachu, perhaps weary from travel, is in a strange state: the electric pouches on its cheeks are continually twitching as though overcharged. At the citys Pokémon Center, Nurse Joy diagnoses Pikachu with the first stages of a Pokémon cold. She suggests that Pikachu stay in the center overnight and that all will be well by the morningbut suddenly, an electrical blackout plunges the city into darkness! Assuming the problem must come from the power plant near the beach, Ash and friends go to investigate. There they discover the Magnet Pokémon Magnemite and a host of Grimer, a kind of Pokémon created from sludge. Could they be responsible for the citys power outage?
