Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! are 2018 remakes of the 1998 Game Boy Colorrole-playing video gamePokémon Yellow. They were developed by Game Freak and jointly published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. Announced in May 2018, Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! were released worldwide for the Nintendo Switch on 16 November 2018. The games are part of the seventh generation of the Pokémon video game series and are the first of such to be released for a home game console. They feature connectivity with the mobile game Pokémon Go and support an optional controller, the Poké Ball Plus.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! were first announced at a Japanese press conference in May 2018, with the intention for the games to bring in newcomers to the series as well as cater to old fans. They were also meant to appeal to a younger audience; for this reason, the games incorporate elements from the anime, similarly to Pokémon Yellow. They received generally favorable reviews from critics, with praise directed to the accessibility and charm, whilst criticism was directed towards the motion controls. The games have combined worldwide sales of over 13 million as of December 2020, making them one of the best-selling games for the system.

Johto Games Had Great Post

One of the best things about Gold and Silver was the;amount of post-game content. The end goal of most Pokemon games is to collect eight gym badges, challenge the Elite Four, and become a Pokemon Champion. Gold and Silver took this one step further. After collecting all eight gym badges and beating the main storyline, players are then given the chance to return to the Kanto region and collect eight more badges and and even more Pokemon.

But rather than being a straight up recreation of Red and Blue, the post-game version of Kanto takes place three years later, meaning things have changed since the first time players stepped foot into the region. This new Kanto journey culminates in a battle with the protagonist of Red and Blue, which is not only the hardest battle in the game, but remains one of the hardest battles in the entire series to this day. It was an extremely clever way to pay homage to the games that came before it and establish a continuity within the series. Sadly, no Pokemon game since has come close to having nearly the same amount of post-game content.

Ishihara ha anticipado, además, que la semana que viene desvelarán un “gran proyecto” de la franquicia.

Mientras decía esto, a las espaldas del CEO se podían ver peluches y figuras de Pokémon de la segunda generación, la de Pokémon Oro y Plata, lo que para muchos es una pista de que este siguiente gran proyecto está relacionado con estos juegos. Los Lderes De Gimnasio

Para empezar, hay que partir del hecho de que los líderes de gimnasio de Kanto;contaron en su día con un papel relevante en los videojuegos de la segunda generación, siendo así que, sin ir más lejos, Koga;pasó a ser miembro del Alto Mando. Y es justo aquí donde empezamos a vislumbrar la posibilidad de que el líder de tipo veneno de el salto a dicho estatus, ya que una vez jugamos con él la revancha tras pasar la Liga, no sólo hace mención a que está pensando en unirse a la Liga Pokémon, sino que también nombra a su hija Sachiko, quien, como muchos sabréis, acabará siendo la líder de Ciudad Fucsia.;

Dicho esto, hay dos líderes más que cuentan con un papel relevante en este entramado, siendo uno de ellos el líder de Ciudad Verde una vez hayamos vencido a Giovanni, quien cede su puesto a Azul, quien, además, menciona que tiene pensado hacer reformas en el gimnasio. Ante esto hay que recordar que el Gimnasio Verde de una generación a otra cambió por completo su estética. Sumado a esto también encontramos a Sabrina, quien no tiene ningún papel relevante en la segunda generación, pero que mencionar que según sus premoniciones, el próximo gran entrenador llegará en tres años. Justo el tiempo que transcurre entre estas dos generaciones.;

Varias Criaturas De Johto Aparecieron En La Presentacin De Pokmon

Sin embargo, esta ocasión fue un poco inusual, pues los fans se dieron cuenta que gran parte de la decoración era de la Generación II o de Johto. A lo largo del video fue posible identificar criaturas como Politoed, Sudowoodo, Ampharos, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Bayleef, Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Entei, Raikou y Suicune, todas ellas originarias de Johto.

Pero el detalle que más hace pensar a los fans sobre una posible versión de Pokémon GO ambientada en Johto es que en la esquina inferior derecha del mueble detrás de Ishihara había unos peluches de Umbreon y Espeon, las evoluciones de Eevee que aparecieron por primera vez en Pokémon Gold & Silver, y detrás de ellos estaban las ediciones especiales de Pokémon Lets Go, Pikachu! & Lets Go, Eevee!, una gran coincidencia.

The mascots of;Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu and;Eevee were of course Pikachu and Eevee, so the mascots for;Pokemon: Let’s Go 2;would likely continue the partner pokemon theme. The original box art of;Pokemon Red, Blue, and;Yellow featured starter Pokemon, while every mainline sequel since then has featured;Legendary Pokemon.;If;Pokemon: Let’s Go 2 follows this formula, the box art Pokemon could be Lugia and Ho-Oh, as they are usually paired together.;If it is assumed that the sequels will be a spiritual remake of;Pokemon Crystal, then perhaps it will follow the partner Pokemon theme.

La mayoría te retará a un combate de uno contra uno, pero algunos simplemente querrán que les sorprendas mostrándoles un ejemplar de su especie favorita con unos Puntos de Combate excepcionales para así demostrar tus dotes de Entrenador. Si tu Pokémon alcanza el Nv. 100 y le das una buena ración de caramelos, seguro que conseguirás caerles en gracia.

Los combates contra los Entrenadores Maestros pueden llegar a ser muy difíciles. ¡Solo podrás usar a su Pokémon favorito y los objetos no están permitidos! La mayoría de sus Pokémon serán de Nv. 65 a Nv. 80, así que asegúrate de que los tuyos tengan al menos un nivel similar para hacerles frente. Si necesitas fortalecer a tu equipo, lo mejor es ir a la Cueva Celeste y atrapar Chansey hasta conseguir una buena racha de capturas. Capturar a este Pokémon da muchos Puntos de Experiencia, por lo que es el candidato ideal a la hora de subir de nivel. What If It’s Johto Based

Starter Pokemon

The three starter Pokemon in Johto were:

• Totodile
• Chikorita

These three Pokemon featured heavily in the anime series and although not the best, are certainly some of the most fun Pokemon in the franchise.

Totodile, the big jaw Pokemon, evolves into Crockonaw and finally Feraligatr.

The strongest starter Pokemon has the;ability ‘Sheer Force’,;meaning it raises the base power of all damaging moves that have any;additional effects;by 30%, but their additional effects are ignored.

Cyndaquil, the fire mouse Pokemon, evolves into Quilava and finally Typhlosion.

This Pokemon can learn a variety of moves including Solar Beam, as well as having the ability ‘Flash Fire’, which makes it immune to;Fire-type;moves. When activated, Fire-type moves are also increased by 50%.

Chikorita evolves into Bayleef before evolving into its final evolution Meganium.

This Pokemon features the ability ‘Leaf Guard’, during;harsh sunlight, Leaf Guard prevents the Pokémon from being afflicted by non-volatile;status conditions;and;Yawn.

Is Pokemon Teasing A Let’s Go: Johto Announcement

The set dressing used in last week’s Pokemon announcement could be a tease for an upcoming Pokemon game announcement. Last week, the Pokemon Company held its first ever “Pokemon Presents” presentation, which provided fans with 11 minutes of announcements of new games, including New Pokemon Snap. The presentation ended with the announcement that the Pokemon Company would hold a second Pokemon Presentation on June 24th, bringing fans an additional 11 minutes of Pokemon news. While we don’t know why the Pokemon Company chose to split their announcements over two weeks, many fans are speculating that the announcement is for a second pair of Pokemon: Let’s Go games, this time based in the Johto region.

During last week’s Pokemon Presents, Pokemon Company President and CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara sat behind a shelf filled with Pokemon merchandise. The most notable piece of merchandise includes numerous “Pokemon Sitting Cutie” plushes of Pokemon first seen in the Johto region. The video shows Ho-Oh, Lugia, Tyranitar, Feraligatr, Entei, Raikou, Suicune, Umbreon, Espeon, Politoed, Sudowoodo, and Ampharos plushes all sitting behind Ishihara. These plushes were released almost a year ago, so it seems unlikely that they were just placed there to promote some new Pokemon merchandise. We’ll also note that Pokemon: Let’s Go Nintendo Switch bundles can also be seen in the background.

Theory Crafting Why Pokemon Lets Go Johto Could Be Next Weeks Big Pokemon Reveal

This mornings Pokemon Presents gave fans reasons to smile and celebrate. Long time fan-favorite Pokemon Snap at long last was getting a new entry, and a couple of cool new titles were revealed,Pokemon Smile and Pokemon Cafe Mix. While other Pokemon fans were focused on those, I was taking in the surroundings of the presentation and the big project that will be revealed next week; a project that I feel confident will be the next line of Lets Go games, this time, in Gen 2s Johto Region. Let me explain.

From the moment that the Presents video started, the one thing that stood out to me was the prevailing Johto theme of the background. Directly behind Ishihara-san, laid out in a line, were the legendary beasts and starters from Pokemon Silver/Gold/Crystal , with an Eevee plush hanging out with its second-generation pals Espeon and Umbreon. Up at the top, you can see Politoad, Sudowoodo, and Ampharos; also Gen 2 beasties.

Now to be fair, there is also some Detective Pikachu swag, a Slowpoke, a second Lapras, and the latest starters from Sword and Shield, among other knick-knacks . Still, the overall vibe screams Johto, with subtle nods to the existing Lets Go titles.

Regardless, we wont have long to wait. The next Pokemon announcement will come a week from today , one long agonizing rumor filled week

New Pokmon Snap Para Switch Y Otros Anuncios Del Pokmon Presents

What Pokemon: Let’s Go Was A Success

The success of;Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu and;Eevee;may have been surprising at first,;but has since proven that a return to the past is certainly profitable. The games helped propel the Nintendo Switch’s massive sales, which alone should stand to reason that a sequel would hopefully be in the works. The;Pokemon: Let’s Go games introduced many tweaks to the formula, making it not only more appealing to newcomers, but a breath of fresh air for fans of the original games.

One major change is that instead of forced random encounters, players will see the available Pokemon roaming around in the overworld. This gives players more control to focus on what Pokemon they would like to encounter, as opposed to hoping for that rare Pokemon;after many uncertain attempts. This new;change also helps emphasize Pokemon height and weight as Pokemon who appear on the overworld will sometimes have a colored swirling aura which tells the player whether it’s Tiny or Large. This affects how much experience a player’s Pokemon team will receive when they catch it.

Catching Pokemon has also been reworked in the;Pokemon: Let’s Go series. Inspired by;Pokemon GO,;Pokemon: Let’s Go implements motion controls allowing players to swing their Nintendo Switch Joy-Con or the Pokeball Plus motion controller to simulate throwing a Pokeball. Though not everyone was a fan of the motion controls, it goes to show that Game Freak is willing to experiment.
