Turn Off Ar To Make Capturing Easier
Capturing Pokemon with AR on is part of the fun, especially when the pocket monsters pop up in inappropriate places, but it’s way easier to capture Pokemon without worrying about aiming your phone camera. Plus, strangers, for the most part, don’t like having phones pointed at them. Why not turn off AR and relieve them of social anxiety? You can do that by tapping the AR toggle when you’re capturing wild Pokemon. Pokemon will then sit still on a grassy field, though they will occasionally hop or gyrate to make capturing difficult. But at least this way you can focus on just the Pokemon, and not worry about reorienting the camera or suffering the death stares of real-life NPCs.
How To Evolve Porygon
Porygon originally appeared as a standalone Pokémon, all the way back on Game Boy with Red and Blue. However, since those early days the character has grown in popularity and has gained two stages of evolution in Pokémon GO. Each requires an evolution item and candy though, making this an expensive venture. Make sure you check the IVs of your Porygon before evolving to make sure this is the right one. Once youre ready, heres what you need.
To evolve Porygon to Porygon2 requires an Upgrade and 25 candy. To evolve that middle stage to Porygon-Z requires a Sinnoh Stone and 100 candy. During Community Day you should be able to gather up all the candy you could possibly need, but what about those other items?
Could You Would You On A Train
You can hatch eggs if you’re on a bicycle, bus, or train. The app just registers that you’re moving it won’t actually care that you’re not walking. So, you can hop on your bike and keep the app open to not only get some exercise, but hatch some sweet Snorlax bros, as well. Another great way to incubate and hatch eggs is to go for a run!To pick up more incubators, you can either buy them outright in the real-money Shop or by getting lucky at Pokestops, though they are rare. You also gain more incubators and other rarer items as you level up. And remember: Pokestops replenish every 10 to 15 minutes, which is remarkably fast for a free-to-play mobile game!By the way, 5 kilometers is about equal to 3.1 miles. Pokemon Go, not only does it bring us together, it educates.

How To Get Pokecoins In Pokemon Go
Pokecoins can be purchased as microtransactions in the in-game shop. Under the “Pokecoins” section in the Pokeshop, you will find a handful of various offers.
- 100 Pokecoins – $0.99
- 5,200 Pokecoins – $62.99
- 14,500 Pokecoins – $159.99
Depending on how you choose to split up your purchases, getting the requisite 16,600 or so Pokecoins to finance maxing out your Pokemon box storage could cost you near $200 if you purchase them all from the in-game Pokeshop.
The only other way to earn Pokecoins without real-world currency is by defeating and defending Gyms. The payout for holding a gym works out to about six Pokecoins per hour. This earns you a measly maximum of 50 Pokecoins from one gym per day. But that’s only if you manage to successfully defend the gym for the full eight hours and 20 minutes.
For every upgrade purchased, you’ll need to defend four gyms for a full day to max out each one’s Pokecoin output.
Note: Niantic was confirmed to be running localized tests in Australia to broaden the approaches to earning Pokecoins in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. These additional methods for earning Pokecoins include catching, evolving, transferring, buddy snapshots, and more. However, if these trials will ever roll out to more regions remains to be seen as the developers have recently been dealing with trainer blowback for revoking other adjustments made to accommodate the global pandemic.
How To Unlock Mew
The only way to unlock the mythical Pokémon Mew is by buying a Poké Ball Plus accessory.
All you need to do is connect it to your Nintendo Switch, open Lets Go, select Poké Ball Plus and then hit Communicate, Mystery Gifts, Get with a Poké Ball Plus and Yes.
Word of warning though this only works once per Poké Ball Plus, so it means you cant lend it to a friend for them to get their own Mew, unfortunately.

You don’t have to evolve everything you come across. With patience, you could potentially find a Blastoise, or even a Charizard, out in the wild. Maybe even a Gyarados. Just don’t expect Mew or any of the legendary birds, howeveralthough their existence has been found in the game’s code. They’re locked away for now, but one day, we’ll get ’em.
Can I Optimize Egg Hatching And What’s A Kilometer
While visiting Pokestops, you’ll probably pick up some eggs, from which Pokemon hatch. But first, you need to incubate them, and then walk around. To do that, go to your Pokemon collection, and in the upper-right you’ll see an Eggs tab. Tap that, choose an egg, then an incubator. Then you walk around and wait for the hatch. Here’s some advice: Don’t waste your time incubating the 2K eggs unless you really want more low-level Pokemon . The 5K eggs can net you some decent monsters, such as Cubone, Porygon, Machops, or Sandshrew. The 10K eggs get you more powerful, uncommon ones like Snorlax. Take a look at this handy infographic for a more in-depth egg breakdown, courtesy of Reddit.

How To Evolve Porygon Into Porygon2 In Pokmon Go
Porygon evolves into Porygon2 in the main Pokémon series via held-item trading, much the same as for other Gen 2 Pokémon like Steelix, Politoed, and Kingdra.
Again, in a similar fashion to those Pokémon, in Pokémon Go the method is different: you’ll simply need the same evolutionary item, in this case the Up-Grade, and the right amount of Candy, to evolve your Porygon into Porygon2. Once you have them, head to the usual spot in the in-game menus, and evolve from there!
- Porygon to Porygon2 Evolution cost – 1 Up-Grade and 50 Porygon2 Candy.
Joining A Raid Battle
Raid battles are arguably Pokemon Gos biggest feature. Once you hit level 20, you can access raid events in which a powerful Boss Pokemon appears at certain times of the day. If there’s a raid happening close to you, you get a notification and have the chance to join. But if you walk right up to a gym, youll be disappointed when the bouncer at the door asks for a Raid Pass or Premium Raid Pass and you don’t have one. These can be gotten by going to a gym and spinning the photo disc. Only one raid pass can be used per day, otherwise, you need to purchase a Premium Raid Pass from the shop to participate in raid battles more often.

Battles In The Pokmon Go Battle League
Battles within the Go Battle League are set up the same way as Trainer Battles and Team Leader Training Battles. You select three Pokémon and will be matched up with another Trainer at random. The Battle begins with your first Pokémon against your opponent’s first Pokémon, and until a Pokémon is sent out, neither Trainer knows what the other has brought with them. If you’re lucky, the Pokémon you’ve chosen will have a Type advantage, or at least not be weak against the other Trainer’s choice. There are definitely some Pokémon better suited for these Battles than others, but there isn’t a single Pokémon that cannot be countered, so there’s a fair bit of luck involved in winning these matches.
To learn more about which Pokémon you should focus on for the Pokémon Go Battle League, see our Pokémon Go Battle League Prep Guide.
Like other Battles within Pokémon Go, you’ll mostly be using your Fast Move until you’ve built up your Charged Move, which will involve hitting several bubbles on the screen to determine how strong it hits. Each Trainer will have two Shields they can deploy against any Charged Move, but dodging isn’t really an option like it is in Raids. Whichever Trainer’s Pokémon faint first loses. The winner will move up in Rank, as well as get an increase to their Matchmaking Rating. The loser won’t lose Rank, but in higher Ranks, you can lose points in your Rating.
Whats Good Against Rock Pokemon
Battling against rock Pokemon can be a challenge without the right strategy! They have some of the most dangerous and varied moves in the games like stealth rocks, stone edge, rock polish and more.
Rock type Pokemon generally have some of the highest defense and attack stats of all Pokemon, but are typically pretty slow.
Watch out, because some rock types have an ability called sturdy which allows them to survive a one-hit K.O. attack with 1 hit point! Its always an unpleasant surprise when you were expecting to win the battle but suddenly they fire back with a strong rock type attack!

How To Get Pokcoins For Free
The only way to get free PokéCoins is by occupying gyms. Up to six Pokémon can be put in a gym, if its for your team. Red gyms are owned by Team Valor, yellow gyms are run by Team Instinct, and blue gyms are occupied by Team Mystic. You can change the color and team of a gym by battling in it and knocking out the Pokémon. It takes multiple rounds of battling to do this.
You will get six PokéCoins per hour while your Pokémon is in a gym, but youll only get the coins when your Pokémon gets knocked out. You can also only get 50 PokéCoins per day, adding a cap to how many freebies you can grab. Even if you have multiple Pokémon in gyms, you can still only get 50 PokéCoins per day.

Great Ultra Or Master League In The Pokmon Go Battle League
The Go Battle League is divided into three different Leagues: Great, Ultra, and Master League. These are set up the same as Trainer battles and Team Leader Training before with CP caps:
- The Great allows for Pokémon up to 1,500 CP and will run April 12-26. The Great League Remix runs concurrently but doesn’t allow the 10 most used Pokémon in the Great League.
- The Ultra League allows for Pokémon up to 2,500 CP and will run April 26 through May 10.
- The Master League has no CP limits and will run May 17-24.
- All three Leagues will run from May 17-24.
Each League is featured separately before rotating to the next League. This means you can usually only participate in one League at a time, but you have the opportunity to participate in all three Leagues. However, all three leagues are also available during a final week, in which players can choose any league they wish to battle.

How To Get A Sinnoh Stone To Evolve A Porygon
Much like the Upgrade, Pokémon Go gives out Sinnoh Stones as random rewards for spinning PokéStops, but as this item is used for a lot of Pokémon evolutions, it can also sometimes be received for completing special research tasks, including time-sensitive events.
An Upgrade and twenty-five Porygon Candy is needed to evolve a Porygon into a Porygon2, and a Sinnoh Stone along with a hundred Porygon Candy evoles Porygon2 into Porygon-Z.
Getting these resources can be frustrating as Upgrades are quite rare and because Porygon dont show up in-game very often, but this makes Porygon-Z one of the more sought-after Pokémon in Pokémon Go.
Setting Battle Parties For The Pokmon Go Battle League
Another thing you can do to prepare for your next Battle is set Parties. Pokémon Go allows you to set up multiple Parties for each League This lets you pick out specific Pokémon ahead of time. When you go to Battle in the League, your chosen Party will be there waiting for you so you won’t have to wade through your hundreds of Pokémon to find the specific Tyranitar you want to bring. This is especially useful for players who have multiple of the same type of Pokémon for different purposes.

How Does Battling Work
Fighting in Pokemon Go is a bigger mess than Brock’s love life. You’re supposed to be able to swipe left and right to dodge the incoming attacks of opposing Pokemon. You can time the dodge by watching the opponent’s attack animation. If you have decent cell service, and a bit of luck, you should even be able to dodge special attacks. You’re also supposed to tap your opponent over and over to attack. Attacks’ effectiveness is based on the rock-paper-scissors system of strengths and weaknesses found in the core Pokemon games. That means fire is weak against water, grass is weak against fire, water is weak against grass. You can check what type your Pokemon is in its bio, or refer to this handy-dandy chart. But, the Pokemon Go app’s performance issues turn fights into random kerfuffles. Your best bet is to have a ton of potions and revives at the ready in case you need to revive and heal fainted Pokemon, and just tap away, and tap and hold once in a while to unleash your Pokemon’s special attacks, which consumes some special meter .
