HOW TO FIND AND BATTLE BLUE
Out of the three Legendary Trainers, Blue shows up the most often in Let’s Go. Trainers will run into him quite a bit in the story, from Pewter City to after receiving your eighth Gym Badge in Viridian City.
However, you can battle Blue after he takes over the Viridian City Gym once Giovanni disbands Team Rocket. After defeating the Elite Four, head back to the Gym and face Blue and his team of Pokémon whose levels range from 66-68.

Beat The Master Trainers
After beating the Elite Four and becoming the Pokemon Champion, there will be more challenges to overcome. If you take the time to backtrack in the Kanto region, youll find that there are new Master Trainers to be found all over the place. These Master Trainers are easily recognizable by the little speech bubble above their heads, with a sprite of the Pokemon that theyve specialized in training.
Be warned, though. These Master Trainers are incredibly tough to beat, and you certainly shouldnt be fooled by their unassuming Weedles or Rattatas. Master Trainer Pokemon have tricky move sets that will certainly trip you up, and the battles will not be as straightforward as you might think.
Furthermore, you can only fight these Master Trainers with the Pokemon theyre specialized in. This means that if you find the Weedle Master Trainer, you can only fight them with a Weedle of your own, and you cant use any items either. This is a very time-consuming process, but its definitely worth it for players who are looking for a real challenge.
Catch The Legendary Birds
Aside from trying to catch em all and filling out your Pokedex, you can also catch the three legendary bird Pokemon in this game: Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno. All three will appear at level 50, and youll have to battle them before you can actually attempt to catch them.
Theyre all pretty easy to find, but bear in mind that you need to obtain all the Secret Techniques before you can access their locations.
Moltres can be found on the third level of Victory Road, in a pathway hidden behind a boulder near Officer Jenny.
Articuno can be found on the Seafoam Islands, which are east of Cinnabar Island. Make your way to the very bottom of the cave to find it.
Lastly, Zapdos can be found at the Power Plant, which is found at the end of the water path on Route 10, right before the Rock Tunnel entrance. The Power Plant is a pretty huge labyrinth, but Zapdos will be waiting for you at the end of the road.

Take On The Master Trainers
Once you’ve enteredthe Hall of Fame, you will start to notice new Trainers throughout the Kantoregion. These are Master Trainers, dedicated Trainers that have devoted theirlives to training a particular species of Pokémon. Master Trainers can be foundanywhere, so you’ll want to retrace your steps through every route, tunnel, andbuilding to find them all.
Most MasterTrainers will challenge you to a one-on-one battle. The rest want you toimpress them with your training skills by showing them their favorite Pokémonwith an exceptionally high CP. While your first and perhaps only encounter with each of the four legendary Pokémon has to happen in their set locations, it is possible to see the legendary birds in the wild and score two or more of the same legendary bird. This possibility is something you would never see in Pokémon Yellow.
For a chance to see one of the legendary birds in the wild, you need to be riding on a flying Pokémon like Charizard. You also have to have a high catch chain going, so you must catch a lot of Pokémon in a row. A lure, which attracts rare Pokémon, must be active. When Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee were revealed at E3 2018, Nintendo, Niantic, and Game Freak made no secret out of the game’s status as “My First Pokémon Adventure.” Pokémon Let’s Go is a vehicle engineered to let older players introduce youngsters to the bright colors and fantastic monsters of Kanto. It’s also a good “Pokémon 101” course for Pokémon Go players who need to get a handle on Pokémon’s deeper mechanics.
That’s why I’m a little surprised Pokémon Let’s Go challenged me when I played it. No, it’s not Dark Souls , but I didn’t necessarily run over young trainers like an out-of-control Rapidash, either. I enjoyed a mild challenge through most of my initial playthrough, and Game Freak kept me on my toes by adding mechanics that weren’t part of Pokémon Red, Blue, or Yellow .
The good times don’t end when your Pokémon are inscribed in the Hall of Fame, though. Pokémon Let’s Go’s post-game cranks up the challenge and might even make hardcore veteran trainers break out in a mild sweat. The good times really start when you put the kids to bed, to use an unnecessarily lurid-sounding metaphor.
