‘pokmon Let’s Go’ Blue Red And Green Locations: How To Find And Battle Legendary Trainers
Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee are retellings of 1998’s Pokémon Yellow Version, but with some twists. While the world of Let’s Go and many of the story beats are familiar, some features are unique to these games. That includes finding and battling the Legendary Trainers, Red, Blue and Green.
While many are familiar with Red and Blue, because they recently appeared in Pokémon Sun and Moon, their reveal in Let’s Go was a big surprise. Even more surprising was the inclusion of Green, a trainer only seen in the Pokémon manga.
Although having Red, Blue and Green in the games are neat Easter Eggs they can be hard for new Pokémon trainers to defeat. So if you’re ready to take on some of the best Pokémon trainers ever, follow this guide.
HOW TO FIND AND BATTLE BLUE
Out of the three Legendary Trainers, Blue shows up the most often in Let’s Go. Trainers will run into him quite a bit in the story, from Pewter City to after receiving your eighth Gym Badge in Viridian City.
However, you can battle Blue after he takes over the Viridian City Gym once Giovanni disbands Team Rocket. After defeating the Elite Four, head back to the Gym and face Blue and his team of Pokémon whose levels range from 66-68.
- Flash Cannon
- Ice Beam
After defeating Green the first time, she will reappear in Cerulean City once a day for you to have a rematch.
HOW TO FIND AND BATTLE RED
Beat The Master Trainers
After beating the Elite Four and becoming the Pokemon Champion, there will be more challenges to overcome. If you take the time to backtrack in the Kanto region, youll find that there are new Master Trainers to be found all over the place. These Master Trainers are easily recognizable by the little speech bubble above their heads, with a sprite of the Pokemon that theyve specialized in training.
Be warned, though. These Master Trainers are incredibly tough to beat, and you certainly shouldnt be fooled by their unassuming Weedles or Rattatas. Master Trainer Pokemon have tricky move sets that will certainly trip you up, and the battles will not be as straightforward as you might think.
Furthermore, you can only fight these Master Trainers with the Pokemon theyre specialized in. This means that if you find the Weedle Master Trainer, you can only fight them with a Weedle of your own, and you cant use any items either. This is a very time-consuming process, but its definitely worth it for players who are looking for a real challenge.
Catch The Legendary Birds
Aside from trying to catch em all and filling out your Pokedex, you can also catch the three legendary bird Pokemon in this game: Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno. All three will appear at level 50, and youll have to battle them before you can actually attempt to catch them.
Theyre all pretty easy to find, but bear in mind that you need to obtain all the Secret Techniques before you can access their locations.
Moltres can be found on the third level of Victory Road, in a pathway hidden behind a boulder near Officer Jenny.
Articuno can be found on the Seafoam Islands, which are east of Cinnabar Island. Make your way to the very bottom of the cave to find it.
Lastly, Zapdos can be found at the Power Plant, which is found at the end of the water path on Route 10, right before the Rock Tunnel entrance. The Power Plant is a pretty huge labyrinth, but Zapdos will be waiting for you at the end of the road.

Take On The Master Trainers
Once you’ve enteredthe Hall of Fame, you will start to notice new Trainers throughout the Kantoregion. These are Master Trainers, dedicated Trainers that have devoted theirlives to training a particular species of Pokémon. Master Trainers can be foundanywhere, so you’ll want to retrace your steps through every route, tunnel, andbuilding to find them all.
Most MasterTrainers will challenge you to a one-on-one battle. The rest want you toimpress them with your training skills by showing them their favorite Pokémonwith an exceptionally high CP. You’ll want to raise these Pokémon to Lv. 100and feed them ample Candy to get their stats high enough to win these MasterTrainers’ favor.
If you do go up againstMaster Trainers, the fight can be very difficult. The catch is that you canonly use their Pokémon of choice during the battle, and no items! Most of theirPokémon will be between Lv. 65 and Lv. 80, so make sure your Pokémon are atleast comparable. If you need to build up your team, head to Cerulean Cave andbuild up a large Catch Combo by catching multiple Chansey. It provides a ton ofExp. Points when caught, so it’s a great way to level up your Pokémon. Be sureto boost your Pokémon’s stats by feeding them Candy, as wellyour opponentshave done the same.

Pokmon Let’s Go: 8 Things You Didn’t Know About Rival Trace
Rivals are a vital part of the Pokémon main series games. Here are some things to know about Pokémon Let’s Go’s Trace.
Rivals are a vital part of the Pokémon main series games. They make the player’s adventure more exciting and complex, even if they don’t pose a real challenge. The franchise began with unlikable characters as literal antagonists to the player, but they soon switched to a friendlier, less menacing rival.
Trace falls in this second category. He’s the overly enthusiastic rival in the Generation VII games, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Let’s Go, Eevee. Trace is a kind and good-natured character who still manages to make an impression despite not being the most memorable or effective rival. The game doesn’t spend too much time with him, and there are several things about him that fans still don’t know.
Battle The Master Trainers
After defeating the Elite Four, players may start to notice that many of the game’s trainers now have a Pokemon symbol floating above their heads. Placing that specific Pokemon at the front of their party will allow players to fight these trainers once more.
Although they are a little more difficult the second time around, the real challenge is finding them all. There are a lot of them scattered around Kanto 153, to be exact so those hoping to complete all of the extra content in the game can expect to devote quite a bit of time to tracking them all down.

Hunt For Shiny Pokmon
Whether or not you have the Shiny Charm, you can encounter shiny Pokémon everywhere. They appear depending on your luck. However, theres are certain methods that you can use to increase the odds of you encountering them.
One method is by chain catching Pokémon. By catching only a certain species of Pokémon consecutively, you significantly increase the chances of their shiny variants to appear.
Another method is by obtaining the Shiny Charm. Once you have the Shiny Charm in your inventory, shiny Pokémon will appear more in the wild automatically.
This is the end-game goal. Its not just about completing the Pokédex anymore. Its all about acquiring all variants of Pokémon in the game. As the franchises tagline goesGotta catch em all!
Defeat The Master Trainers
Master Trainers are a completely new addition to the Kanto region, spending their whole career training one specific type of pokémon. There is one for each of the 153 pokémon in the game. Including Mew, Meltan and Melmetal.
These Master Trainers can be found all over the region. Not all of them are going to be battles, some of them you just have to show them the pokémon they claim to be the master of. But the majority of them will be fights. One on one battles with no items and more often than not the pokémon you are battling will have moves you will not be prepared for.
If you want to stand a chance in these battles, go in expecting the unexpected and with a pokémon that you have beefed up with candies and preferably a mega stone and a couple of TMs for unique moves, or if you have it, try the Alolan Form for extra style points.
After you have bested six of these trainers you can also battle Red, the protagonist from the original generation one games. He is no push over, as you may expect.

Battle & Trade Online
The online features of Pokemon Let’s Go allow players too battle and trade with friends or, if they’re so inclined, random people. When battling, all Pokemon get set to level 50 to keep things fair, although it’s still possible to use the Key Stone to help things along.
Given the amount of hard work that goes into catching all of the game’s Legendary Pokemon and tracking down shiny gen 1 variants, the online areas of the games serve as a great place to show them all off. Of course, there are also plenty of challenging opponents there just waiting to be battled, making it a great training ground for those who’ve already defeated Red, Blue and Green.

What Does Pokemon Lets Go Post
Typically speaking, completing a games story isnt the final chapter of a game. The same can be said of Pokemon Lets Go. As there was in most of the previous Pokemon games, there is plenty you can get on with after beating the Pokemon Lets Go Elite Four. Naturally, as previous Pokemon games feature post-game content, people have been wondering exactly what there is to do in Pokemon Lets Go after beating the main story. Of course, everything that follows is a spoiler for Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee. If you dont want to know what there is to do after beating the Elite Four, then you might want to look away now.

Catching Legendary Birds In The Wild
While your first and perhaps only encounter with each of the four legendary Pokémon has to happen in their set locations, it is possible to see the legendary birds in the wild and score two or more of the same legendary bird. This possibility is something you would never see in Pokémon Yellow.
For a chance to see one of the legendary birds in the wild, you need to be riding on a flying Pokémon like Charizard. You also have to have a high catch chain going, so you must catch a lot of Pokémon in a row. A lure, which attracts rare Pokémon, must be active. No matter how many requirements you meet, you still might not ever see a legendary bird in the wild. They have certainly eluded us during the duration of our Lets Go gameplay, but dont let that deter your perseverance.
Search For Hidden Items In The Rocket Game Corner
The Rocket Game Corner in Celadon City is brimming with loot thats scattered on the floor. Be sure to visit it often to see what items it has to offer.
Check the tail of your companion Pikachu/Eevee. If their tail is wagging, then that means theres an item nearby. In the Rocket Game Corner, you can often find berries, candies, and bottle caps.

Pokemon Let’s Go’s Post
Move over Lt Surge, you’re not the only Pokemon war veteran who’s still spoiling for a fight.
Analysisby Nadia Oxford, Staff Writer
When Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee were revealed at E3 2018, Nintendo, Niantic, and Game Freak made no secret out of the game’s status as “My First Pokémon Adventure.” Pokémon Let’s Go is a vehicle engineered to let older players introduce youngsters to the bright colors and fantastic monsters of Kanto. It’s also a good “Pokémon 101” course for Pokémon Go players who need to get a handle on Pokémon’s deeper mechanics.
That’s why I’m a little surprised Pokémon Let’s Go challenged me when I played it. No, it’s not Dark Souls , but I didn’t necessarily run over young trainers like an out-of-control Rapidash, either. I enjoyed a mild challenge through most of my initial playthrough, and Game Freak kept me on my toes by adding mechanics that weren’t part of Pokémon Red, Blue, or Yellow .
The good times don’t end when your Pokémon are inscribed in the Hall of Fame, though. Pokémon Let’s Go’s post-game cranks up the challenge and might even make hardcore veteran trainers break out in a mild sweat. The good times really start when you put the kids to bed, to use an unnecessarily lurid-sounding metaphor.
Don’t bother blowing your League Champion winnings on Hyper Potions while thinking “I’ll just power through this,” either. Guess who’s not stingy about using their “Recover” ability if you chip a flake off their HP bar.
How To Catch Mewtwo
I order to catch Mewtwo, you simply need to fight him and then catch him as you would any other Pokemon.
Once you get out of the cave, your rival will be waiting and will tell you that Green was also trying to catch Mewtwo. You will head inside in order to take on her.
Green is tough to beat but it should not be a problem if you have Mewtwo. Just make sure that you have healed up your party before the fight begins.
When Green is defeated, she will throw 5 PokeBalls at you that you can pick up and add to your inventory.
