Pokemon Lets Go Best Psychic Pokemon
- Mewtwo – Now this is one tough creature to track down. Youre firstly going to need to beat the Elite Four to get to Mewtwo, and then bring your toughest Pokemon for the fight against it.
- Alakazam – While getting hold an Abra and evolving it into an Kadabra is fairly easy through levelling up, youll need to trade your Kadabra to a friend and back to get it to evolve into the powerful Alakazam.
Why You Should Catch Em All
Basically, the higher your combo is, the higher your experience multiplier is. It actually gets a bit ridiculous after a while. I was pulling 21,500 experience points a catch over the weekend just from lobbing Ultra Balls at unsuspecting Rhydon in a late-game area. I got 10 Pokemon to level 100 in a few hours – granted, four of those were already 75+, but its still an impressive feat if thats the kind of feat youre inclined to find impressive.
Ideally, you want to find an area in which the Pokemon are a high enough level for you to earn more than 62 experience points a catch. I use Cerulean Cave usually , but places like Victory Road and the Seafoam Islands work fine, too. There are also exceptions for Pokemon that are known for being rarer/having better stats, such as the Tauros that roam to the right of Fuchsia City. Just pick somewhere with decently-leveled Pokemon that you like and dont mind catching 100 of, because youre probably going to catch 200.
Aim for huge or tiny Pokemon and try to catch them with a single excellent throw. If they break free, youre better off without them anyway. Another Pokemon will appreciate you for who you are and get cosy in the first Ultra Ball you throw.
Collect All Pokmon Outfits
Similar to the Trainer Outfits, Pokémon Outfits can be found all over the region of Kanto. Most Pokémon Outfits come as a set with the Trainer Outfits. The only difference is that accessories and glasses can be bought for your Pikachu or Eevee partner.
All accessories and glasses can be purchased from the Celadon Department Store in Celadon City. If you aspire to get the best accessorythe Special Crownyou will have to shell out a whopping 999,999 Pokédollars.

Interact With Pikachu Using The Joy
Like in the original Yellow version during generation one, you are able to interact with Pikachu in Nintendo’s latest outing in Kanto.;In the original games, interacting with Pikachu allowed you to see how he was feeling – with various expressions being seen for things such as happiness and whether or not he was poisoned.
In Let’sGoPikachu, wagging the joy-con or Pokeball accessory opens up a new view where you are able to interact with your traveling companion in a number of ways.;The cute encounter with Pikachu allows you to caress/stroke your Pokemon and even feed them, increasing their happiness and giving you your daily dose of cuteness all in one.
Not Turning In Extra Pokmon
Just like in Pokémon GO, in the Lets Go games a player can turn any monster they catch into the professor for candy. These candies are useful in powering up a specific monsters stats and making them an even greater threat in battle.
Since the Lets Go games encourage a player to catch as many monsters as possible, this means there are plenty of opportunities to trade monsters in for some sweet candy. Considering that the vast majority of monsters are just going to end up sitting in a PC box anyway, this is actually a pretty good mechanic that makes every bit of effort put into catching monsters feel even more worthwhile.

Fly In The Sky With Your Pokmon
After you become the Champion, your world will seemingly expand. As a result, youll now be able to fly in the sky with your Pokémon.
There are only three Pokémon you can fly with. They are Aerodactyl, Charizard, and Dragonite. Simply take them out of their Poké Balls in the party menu and fly away!
Note that flying with your Pokémon will enable you to travel faster over the land and sea. However, you wont be able to fly through gatehouses. Youll also be able to encounter wild Pokémon in the sky for you to catch.
Where To Find/catch Charizard
You can get a Charmander from an NPC in Route 24/25. He’ll give you the Pokemon if you’ve capture up to 50 Pokemon.
Wild Charmander Also Found in Rock Tunnel
You may also look for wild Charmander in the Rock Tunnel. The spawn rate of Charmander is extremely low; be patient when you’re hunting for them!

Adventuring With Your Pokmon
You should always have one Pokémon following you around the map in addition to Pikachu and Eevee riding on your shoulder. You can bring one out by opening your menu, selecting a Pokémon in your party, and choosing to remove it from its Poké Ball in the options that appear.
It will then follow you around! You can talk to it to find out how its feeling, and sometimes it will notice items in bushes or on the ground. If your Pokémon runs off on its own with a ! over its head, go talk to it and see what its doing. It may have an item for you.
Some Pokémon that are larger will let you ride on them. This will happen automatically when you have a Pokémon capable of this selected outside its Poké Ball. These Pokémon can help you move through the world faster, and some will even fly you around very late in the game. Experiment with different Pokémon following you to help make your adventures even bigger.

Using Catch Combos To Find Shiny Pokmon
Shiny Pokemon have been coveted by fans for generations, with the unique color palate adding to the excitement of catching a wild Pokemon.;While the color change has no impact on battle stats, it is still something people are interested in, to this day.;If you are determined the find yourself a shiny version of a wild Pokemon, then you should be looking at catch combos to aid you in your journey.
Catch combos grow when you catch the same Pokemon over and over again, without breaking the chain with another type.;If you catch a Pidgey in the wild, and you want to find yourself a unique shiny version, keep catching more Pidgeys without catching any other Pokemon – this will increase your chances of encountering a shiny.;If the chain is broken, the chances of encountering a shiny are reset and the combo will need to be built up once again.

Your Partner Pikachu Or Eevee Is Amazing
Speaking of great stats, your partner Pokémon Pikachu in Lets Go Pikachu or Eevee in Lets Go Eevee is consistently brilliant.
Partners have Best rated stats in all six stat categories . On top of that though, they also have the ability to learn a number of completely unique moves, from Move Tutors that are found in certain Pokémon Centers around the world. The first one is in Cerulean City, a couple of hours into the game.
Those moves often come with amazing effects, like Eevees Buzzy Buzz a hefty 90 base damage and always leaves the target with Paralysis, which halves that opponents Speed. If you want to know how powerful that is, its the only move to ever do so much damage and garuantee that effect in a mainline Pokémon game! Eevee and Pikachu can learn lots of moves like these some of which are arguably even better so always talk to the circus performer-like Move Tutors in Pokémon Centers as you go!
Note, as well, that you dont have to keep your follower in your party. Theyll always follow you around, but you can still put them in your storage box and swap in another Pokémon to your party if you dont fancy using them in battle.

Gaining Candies Through Catch Combos
Throughout Let’sGoPikachu, catching Pokemon brings with it unique rewards that can be used to help boost particular stats.;These are called Candies and can be used to boost anything from attack and defense to speed.
With catch combos, this increases your chance of obtaining more and more candies with each Pokemon you catch – increasing your stockpile of valuable candies that can be used to boost your battling buddies.;With higher level Pokemon needing to consume a larger amount of candies in order to increase certain stats, it makes sense to take full advantage of catch combos in order to stockpile a large number of candies that can be used to either help your strongest Pokemon reach its full potential, or simply help a low level grow much faster early on.

Why This Is The Best Thing You Can Do In Lets Go
Lets be honest – after youve beaten the Elite Four and completed the Pokedex, youll likely be shiny hunting, battling Master Trainers, or building a team for competitive battling. This technique allows you to do all three at the same time, as catch combos increase your shiny odds anyway. As stated above, this is also the fastest way to gain experience in Pokemon Lets Go.
If you want to tackle the ultimate post-game content – the Master Trainers – you’ll need these high-level creatures to do your bidding. In fact, you’ll ideally need a level 100 variant of each species of Pokemon in this game.
For reference – defeating Lances entire team will net you less than 10,000 experience points for a single Pokemon on your team. Catching one Chansey on a chain in Cerulean Cave can get your entire team 50k+. Why would you ever train against the Elite Four? Youre already the Champion, arent you? The best thing to do when you have the title is to say, Oh, my Champion title and I actually arent available to battle at the moment – sorry! Also, the Elite Four just straight up neglect their Pokemon after you battle them for a second time. I dont see Bruno training his Onix to level 100.
Tips And Tricks To Beat The Elite Four In Pokmon Let’s Go
After defeating all eight Gym Leaders in Pokémon Let’s Go, the next place you’ll be headed is to the Elite Four. The Elite Four are a powerful group of type-focused trainers that will test every skill you’ve learned along the way in a series of five battles between which you cannot visit a Pokémon Center or change out your party. That means the six you bring with you when you walk through the doors need to be the best Pokémon you possibly can train.
Below, I’ve offered a recommendation for a team to fight the Elite Four with, along with general ideas for what Pokémon types to bring along to each fight. Good luck, Champ-in-the-making!

Catching Pokmon Out Of Sequence
Catching Pokémon is easier than ever before in the Lets Go games, but there is a useful trick in making some of the best and rarest pocket monsters spawn more quickly. By catching the same kind of monster repeatedly, a player will start a catching combo.
As this chain of catches grows, so does the likelihood of rare monsters appearing and monsters in the sequence having perfect, or near perfect, stats. Continuing a catching chain also makes it more likely for shiny monsters to appear. You dont have to catch Pokémon in a sequence, but ignoring this feature deprives a player of some rare and shiny monsters.
Staying On The Beaten Path
Its really easy to just progress linearly through the Pokémon Lets Go games. Most routes are rather simple and straightforward and there arent too many locations where a player would think to return to after clearing an area. However, there are just enough secrets hidden throughout these games that make exploring worthwhile.
All of the legendary birds are hidden just out of site and the fabled Mew truck is still waiting for players who think to return to Vermillion City once they gain the ability to traverse water. These secrets helped make Pokémon the franchise it is today, and missing them cuts out a major part of the Pokémon experience.

Pokemon Lets Go Power
In previous Pokemon games, getting everyone on your team to level 100 was a serious milestone in itself. Changes to the systems in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee mean that power leveling to reach level 100 can be done more easily than ever – if you know how.
In past Pokemon games, it typically took an age of monotonous grinding to even get one Pokemon to level 80. The final 20 levels were even worse still – and as a result, I personally rarely endeavored to even bother with it.
Its a bit different in Pokemon Lets Go, though, because you can absolutely take advantage of the game’s new mechanics to game the system. Over the weekend, I took a Weezing the whole way from level 32 to level 100 in under an hour – a lot of leveling, very fast. It was a bit mad, really, but now Weezing can really hold its own against pretty much any trainer in Kanto – except for the Weezing Master Trainer, apparently, because even after maxing Weezings Special Attack and training it to be 25 levels higher, Donnie still has a better Weezing. Training Weezing to level 100; a supposedly fun thing Ill never do again. Cheers Donnie.
Anyway, despite my Weezing still being a bit rubbish at level 100, Ill let you know how you can get to level 100 quickly. Hopefully your Pokemon arent as inherently feeble as mine and can actually carry their weight against other Pokes later on in the game.
