As of April 2021, players can now see the possible contents of each Egg they pick up. By tapping on an Egg in your Egg Storage, it will display the possible contents before you place the Egg in an Incubator. This doesnt change the contents of the Eggs. Just like before, the contents are determined when you pick up an Egg, but now you can see the pool of potential Pokémon from when you picked it up.

Pokmon Go Eggs And How To Hatch Them Faster

Pokémon Go isn’t just about catching Pokémon hatching is a big part of the game as well. You get Pokémon Go Eggs from spinning PokéStops, from friend gifts, as a reward for being especially active, and even from defeating the Leaders of Team GO Rocket. Then you incubate them by walking with them for 2 KM, 5 KM, 7 KM, 10 KM, or even 12 KM. Are Eggs Predetermined Before You Hatch Them

In Pokémon Go are eggs predetermined before you hatch them? What I mean is, has it already been decided what you are going to get from that egg before it’s been hatched? Or is it a random selection during the hatching?

Yes, they are already predetermined .This is so, because no matter at what level you are right now, the Pokémon that hatches is limited by the level you were when you got that egg.

Example:You are level 10 and get an egg.Now at level 20 you decide to hatch it.It will be as strong as limited by level 10 and not level 20, because it’s already predetermined

  • 6@Frank Personally I think he’s wrong. Just because the CP is the same only determines that the CP is chosen already, that doesn’t mean that the Pokemon has been chosen. 13aalAug 10 ’16 at 15:01
  • I’ll give you the bounty but I won’t accept the question, I still don’t see any proof that you’re correctAug 31 ’16 at 20:26
  • 2Since the game itself doesn’t provide a way to tell this, you’d need access to the code to see how inventory items are defined and implemented to make this assertion. Otherwise, you can’t really make this claim. The way the game treats eggs allows for a very wide variety of ways to implement them in the code. So without something that says, “Hey look! Here’s the species for this egg”, you don’t really have any verifiable answer here.

There are now numerous indications the contents of an egg is predetermined.

Probably some other circumstantial evidence, too.

Not anymore! With the implementation of Adventure Sync, you can now hatch eggs just by having your phone on your person and turned on, without Pokemon Go running. Go into the Settings menu and make sure Adventure Sync is turned on, and your game will track distance and prompt you to hatch eggs when you open the app next.

Where Do You See Pokmon Eggs When You Get Them

Pokémon Eggs are hidden away, but once you know where they are, you can check on which ones you have, and how many, at any time.

  • Tap the PokéBall button to bring up the menu.
  • Tap the Pokémon button.
  • Swipe from right to left to see your Pokémon Eggs.
  • You can have up to 9 Pokémon Eggs at any one time, so make sure you have space for Eggs before attempting to get another. There is an exception, however, for Weekly Fitness Eggs and Strange Eggs. You may hold three additional Eggs if your nine spots are filled when you earn a Weekly Fitness Egg or a Strange Egg.

Pokemon Go: How To Get Rid Of Eggs

Your quest to catch em all is going to see you catch a ton of Pokemon and hatch just as many Eggs. While these are a great way of getting some rare Pokemon you may need, others may be getting you nothing more than low-level, common duplicates.

While some of the Pokemon that can hatch from a 10km Eggs are definitely worth your time, some of those in the 2km Eggs may no longer be needed for your collection. If youre finding this is the case, youll probably want to be able to get rid of some to allow you to pick up others that you do want from PokeStops.

Unfortunately, the only way to get rid of one and clear up your inventory is to hatch it. Once its there, its gotta be hatched. Of course, theres nothing to say that this wont be a feature that Niantic wont add in at a later date. For now, you better get walking. You can also purchase additional Incubators to speed up the process.

While Youre Tracking Pokmon The App Is Tracking You

Since Pokémon Go is a location-based game, its no surprise that the app collects information about your exact whereabouts when you are playing and also has access to your camera. Besides, theres plenty of other personal information that the app collects from you:

    • Your account details: your name and surname, date of birth, your Google and/or Facebook email address. If you want to create an account for your child, you will have to provide more additional information, such as your address as well as first and last digits of your social security number.
    • Usage information: Pokémon Go has the right to monitor all your in-game actions, including the messages you have sent to other players. Also, Pokémon Go collects the following information: your IP address, browser type, the operating system of your device and it can even see what website you were visiting before accessing the app.
    • Your device information: Pokémon Go uses certain identifiers to gather information about what device you are using and what other applications you have on your device.

Once you hand over access to your phone, the company has the right to share all the data they collect from you with third parties. And yes, all this is stated in their Terms and Conditions, but who reads them, right?

How to hatch eggs without walking pokemon go?’

In this last part we would like to suggest a very different method to hatch eggs without walking pokemon go.

Pokemon Go has the option is add friends and you can even send them gifts. The limit for sending gifts to each friend is 20 for every single day. So, if you have a lot of friends, you can send them eggs as gift including the exclusive 7Km eggs.

We Urgently Need The Possibility To Delete Eggs

With the introduction of the 12km eggs and the chance of getting very nice pokemons out of it we absolutely need the possibility to delete other eggs. It handicaps us from playing the game how it should be played. If you have free egg space that you reserve for a 12km egg you cant spin any pokestops and cant open any gifts from friends. Today I passed by at least 30 pokestops and couldnt spin any of them. But sometimes however you forget that you want to keep free space for the 12km egg and end up spinning a pokestop shortly before you defeat a Team Go Rocket boss. It is incredibly annoying. Please we want to delete eggs. Finally give us the opportunity to do so!

Edit: Lots of people say that it wont happen because Niantic wants to make money with incubators. It doesnt make me walk/run less when I can delete eggs. I will still walk the same distance as I walked before. But now people can aim for 10/12km eggs and probably will invest in incubators to hatch more eggs than before. I would never invest in incubators for a shitty 2km egg.

Get The Oval Charm To Receive Eggs More Frequently

Having an Oval Charm in your bag can also help you hatch eggs quickly. The Oval Charm is an item that you can acquire that increases the chances of having an egg in the Pokemon Nursery.

You can get the Oval Charm at Route 213 by defeating Morimoto, the man swimming in a pool, after becoming the Champion.

How Can You Tell Which Exact Pokmon Is In An Egg

You can’t. Not until you hatch it. While Pokémon Go determines what you’re getting in an Egg the moment the Egg is granted, until that Egg hatches, there is no way to tell for sure what is inside.

That means it doesn’t matter where you are or what you do after you get an Egg. What’s inside is already decided. It’s also why, when Pokémon Go makes a change to Eggs for an event or any other reason, it won’t affect Eggs you already have, only ones you get from that point on. This is especially important for players trying to hatch Regional Pokémon from Eggs. If you don’t pick up the Egg in the particular region where that Pokémon can be found, it cannot be in the Egg.

However, as of April 2021, players can see the complete pool of possible Pokémon in an Egg. The pool will reflect what could be in that Egg at the time it was picked up, so two 5 KM Eggs picked up a month apart will have different pools.

How To Tell Which Egg You’re Hatching

    Pokemon Go

The colorful dots tell you what type of egg it is.

When your egg does finally pop, you can easily tell if the egg is a 2 km, 5 km or 10 km egg by looking at the pattern on the Oh! screen:

    • Eggs with green spots are 2 km eggs
    • Eggs with yellow spots are 5 km eggs
    • Eggs with purple spots are 10 km eggs

A quick look at your egg screen will show you the different colored spots and their correlation with their distances.

Bounce Your Device In A Sock

Yes, you heard it right. Bouncing your device in a sock can also help you hatch your eggs without leaving your home.

The best type of sock is a longer sock, for reasons that are not yet clear.

Shaking the device in your pocket replicates the movement of the device when you have it in your pocket while walking around.

This method can get you a kilometer or more, but once again, it is not a constant and will vary from time to time.

What To Do To Get Rid Of Eggs

    Water and Laundry Detergent

  • Mix water with a powdered enzyme detergent like Arm & Hammer to form a thick paste.
  • Use about a ¼ cup of detergent mixed with some water, which should be enough to cover the average egged area.
  • Apply the paste and let it sit for about 15 minutes and wash the egg off the area with a hose.

HOW TO GET STRANGE EGGS IN POKEMON GO NEW 12KM EGGS IN POKEMON GO!

Not everyone has time, or the energy, to walk 10 km to hatch their eggs, but there are other solutions. They’re technically cheating, but they’re options.

One great way to hatch your eggs is to keep the game open while you ride the city bus. The bus typically goes slow enough that the game thinks you are walking, and you should be able to even turn some PokeStops along the way.

Pro tip: No need to scream that you need to get off the bus when passing a Snorlax or a Pikachu. Just quickly tap on the Pokemon to draw it into battle, slide the AR toggle switch in the upper right-hand corner and start battling. This will turn off the AR and allow you to catch the Pokemon without stopping.

You can even lay your phone on a record player or tape it to a ceiling fan to rack up distance, but be careful doing this. It may crack more than just some eggs.

When the game was new, these cheats were easier, but lately Niantic seems to be cracking down on players who try loopholes in the game. If you go too fast while playing Pokemon Go, a notice will pop up and ask if you are a passenger to confirm that you aren’t driving. This is a nuisance, but there is an even bigger problem.

When you go too fast, the GPS system in the game gets confused and the incubator count stays the same instead of getting higher. What is too fast? I have been experimenting and it seems that you need to stay under 10 to 15 miles per hour to keep the counter working.

Is There A Faster Way To Hatch Eggs

Egg hatching has an unconfirmed speed limit to prevent people shaking their phones in cars, but I find that biking is much more efficient than walking when it comes to hatching eggs.

    • WriggleniteJul 10 ’16 at 14:27
    • I’ve heard the speed limit is 20km/h, so that might be a decent point of reference to use.Jul 11 ’16 at 19:37
    • @jackwise I’ve heard 20km/h and 30km/h. Not sure which one is correct. ArperumJul 12 ’16 at 6:58
    • Problem is, it’s not very safe to use your phone and cycle. Having to constantly unlock your phone after a timeout or make sure a random button wasn’t pressed, isn’t ideal…Jul 21 ’16 at 8:19

I actually found a pretty great way to hatch eggs. I know it works but I haven’t confirmed the rate at which I can hatch them.

First I secured my iPhone to the ceiling fan. I have a brass knuckle phone case so I just tied the knot through the finger hole and duct taped it to the fan. Then I realized it wasn’t registering, because I didn’t have walking movements, so I lengthened the string so it would nearly touch the wall, and then I put a pillow on the wall. The phone hits the pillow harmlessly and then shakes when it hits to simulate walking.

    You’re all very welcome.

    Exchange Codes With Friends

Friends are a very important part of the Pokemon Go. Not only friends make the game more interesting and enjoyable, but they also make finding Pokemon eggs much easier. You can trade Pokemon with friends and can get eggs from them as gifts. The following are the steps that allow you to exchange code with friends. Take a look!

Step 1: Click on your avatar in the bottom-left corner of the game.

Step 2: Now click on the “FRIENDS” tab, which is present at the screen’s top.

Step 3: Click on “ADD FRIEND.”

Step 4: After this, you can see your friend code and a box to add that code.

Step 5: Once you have added the code, you’ll see some gifts you can give to your friends, and in return, they can give you things like eggs.

How Do I Get Rid Of Eggs

I’m already at the limit of 9 and most of them are 5km eggs. Is there any way to get rid of them? I want to make space for 10km eggs because I hope they contain rarer Pokémon.

There doesn’t seem to be a way to remove eggs as of this moment. Seems like the only way is to hatch them.

    • I hoped I’ve overseen a button on the interface, thanks for telling me. Guess that means it’s time for a walk in the park. 🙂 GigalaJul 8 ’16 at 7:16

    • 3If you have a ceiling fan, apparently tying your phone to it makes it “walk” a lot…. NelsonJul 19 ’16 at 8:30
    • As of 2020 April, you have to hatch those eggs to create extra space. Pushing people to walk to empty the slots. And i think they will never allow to delete eggs because it hurts 😀
    • @Dragonrage Not like they read the reports anyways.. InsaneJul 18 ’16 at 22:10
    • That’s not true either @Insane , considering how popular the game is, the amount of reports coming in per day is too much to respond and handle. – Overall, Dragon is still right, Best leave the report feature for bugs and issues, The Devs have other channels for low priority feature requests.
