Adventuring With Your Pokmon

You should always have one Pokémon following you around the map in addition to Pikachu and Eevee riding on your shoulder. You can bring one out by opening your menu, selecting a Pokémon in your party, and choosing to remove it from its Poké Ball in the options that appear.

It will then follow you around! You can talk to it to find out how it’s feeling, and sometimes it will notice items in bushes or on the ground. If your Pokémon runs off on its own with a “!” over its head, go talk to it and see what it’s doing. It may have an item for you.

Some Pokémon that are larger will let you ride on them. This will happen automatically when you have a Pokémon capable of this selected outside its Poké Ball. These Pokémon can help you move through the world faster, and some will even fly you around very late in the game. Experiment with different Pokémon following you to help make your adventures even bigger.

Your Partner Pikachu Or Eevee Is Amazing

BEST EXP FARMING Guide for Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee

Speaking of great stats, your partner Pokémon – Pikachu in Let’s Go Pikachu or Eevee in Let’s Go Eevee – is consistently brilliant.

Partners have ‘Best’ rated stats in all six stat categories . On top of that though, they also have the ability to learn a number of completely unique moves, from Move Tutors that are found in certain Pokémon Centers around the world. The first one is in Cerulean City, a couple of hours into the game.

Those moves often come with amazing effects, like Eevee’s Buzzy Buzz a hefty 90 base damage and always leaves the target with Paralysis, which halves that opponent’s Speed. If you want to know how powerful that is, it’s the only move to ever do so much damage and garuantee that effect in a mainline Pokémon game! Eevee and Pikachu can learn lots of moves like these – some of which are arguably even better – so always talk to the circus performer-like Move Tutors in Pokémon Centers as you go!

Note, as well, that you don’t have to keep your follower in your party. They’ll always follow you around, but you can still put them in your storage box and swap in another Pokémon to your party if you don’t fancy using them in battle.

Fly In The Sky With Your Pokmon

After you become the Champion, your world will seemingly expand. As a result, youll now be able to fly in the sky with your Pokémon.

There are only three Pokémon you can fly with. They are Aerodactyl, Charizard, and Dragonite. Simply take them out of their Poké Balls in the party menu and fly away!

Note that flying with your Pokémon will enable you to travel faster over the land and sea. However, you wont be able to fly through gatehouses. Youll also be able to encounter wild Pokémon in the sky for you to catch.

Compare Strengths And Weaknesses

Lets Go is designed as a more casual experience than mainline entries in the series. That means its easy, even the late gym trainers and Elite Four. But you can still lose battles if youre careless with strengths and weaknesses. In Lets Go, super effective moves are really, really effective. You need to pay attention to the type of Pokémon youre battling to not only knock them out quickly but avoid getting knocked out yourself. So yes, put a water type Pokémon against a fire, but dont choose a water type when you are against grass Pokémon. Make sure you know which types gain bonuses against others.

Find Helpful Items With Pokmon

Although yourpartner Pokémon will prove to be a faithful companion as you explore the Kantoregion, don’t forget that you can also bring another Pokémon out of its PokéBall to have it travel with you. Aside from it simply being a ton of fun tohave another Pokémon follow you around, there are benefits to reap as well.

For example, yourPokémon companion will occasionally spot hidden items as you travel. When yourPokémon stops following you and runs over to a spot on the ground, that’s goodnews for you! The Pokémon may uncover items such as Berries, sellable items , and even stones that can be used to evolve certainPokémon.

A Pokémon thatfollows you around will grow more emotionally attached to you, making it moreeffective in battle. As its love for you grows, you will find that the Pokémongains a bit more Exp. Points from battles and catching other Pokémon. It mayalso be able to recover from status conditions on its own and have an increasedchance of landing critical hits.

Guide Pokemon

At last, another major city! If you’ve worked your way through both the eastern path of Route 12, Route 13, Route 14 and Route 15 or the western way of getting here through Route 16, Route 17 and Route 18, you’re probably crying out for a bit of civilisation – we are, even after just listing all those routes!

Interestingly, you can actually do pretty much anything in town here, including challenge Koga at Fuchsia City Gym, as soon as you get the Poké Flute to wake up the Snorlax that block to two routes south that lead you here. If you haven’t already though, we do suggest you tackle Team Rocket at Silph Co. first. After that, it’s your choice for what you want to take on first out of Fuchsia City and Saffron City Gyms. Personally, we tackled Silph Co., then did some levelling on the routes towards Fuchsia City, then took on Sabrina at Saffron City Gym, then tackled Koga here – but it’s up to you!

:: Pokémon Sword and Shield walkthrough and guide

Here in Fuchsia City itself there are plenty of things to do. As you’d expect there’s a trader in the Pokémon Center, this time a Gentleman who will trade you an Alolan Marowak for your regular one. There’s also another move tutor with him, who’ll teach your partner Pokémon even more moves now .

Otherwise there’s another very important thing to do here: acquire not one, but two Secret Techniques, Sea Skim and Strong Push, the Let’s Go equivalent of Suft and Strength respectively.

Take On The Master Trainers

Once you’ve enteredthe Hall of Fame, you will start to notice new Trainers throughout the Kantoregion. These are Master Trainers, dedicated Trainers that have devoted theirlives to training a particular species of Pokémon. Master Trainers can be foundanywhere, so you’ll want to retrace your steps through every route, tunnel, andbuilding to find them all.

Most MasterTrainers will challenge you to a one-on-one battle. The rest want you toimpress them with your training skills by showing them their favorite Pokémonwith an exceptionally high CP. You’ll want to raise these Pokémon to Lv. 100and feed them ample Candy to get their stats high enough to win these MasterTrainers’ favor.

If you do go up againstMaster Trainers, the fight can be very difficult. The catch is that you canonly use their Pokémon of choice during the battle, and no items! Most of theirPokémon will be between Lv. 65 and Lv. 80, so make sure your Pokémon are atleast comparable. If you need to build up your team, head to Cerulean Cave andbuild up a large Catch Combo by catching multiple Chansey. It provides a ton ofExp. Points when caught, so it’s a great way to level up your Pokémon. Be sureto boost your Pokémon’s stats by feeding them Candy, as wellyour opponentshave done the same.

Win The Fight With High Damage

Mewtwo has strong Psychic attacks & moves that raise his statistics. Bring Pokemon that can lower his defenses with status effects or have a high HP Pokemon that can tank your party.

Recommended Pokemon

Description
Dragonite A properly leveled Dragonite can easily do high damage with its high base stats, making it a good Pokemon for your face-off with Mewtwo.
Gyarados Mewtwo is weak against Dark Type moves and Gyarados’s “Bite” can be very effective against this weakness.
Gengar Though weak to Mewtwo’s Psychic attacks, Gengar is also extremely strong against Psychic Types. It can dish out heavy damage and implement status effects on its targets.
Jolteon A high level Jolteon’s Thunder Type attacks such as “Thunder Wave” & “Thunder” can ensnare Mewtwo in paralysis – giving you space to attack for a couple of turns.
Snorlax Snorlax is another high HP Pokemon you can use against Mewtwo. A high level Snorlax can do big damage with “Body Slam”.

There Are Lots Of Invisible Items In The World

You’ll spot us pointing our items as ‘Hidden’ in our Pokémon Let’s Go walkthrough, and that means that you can’t see them in the world, but can still pick them up if you press ‘A’ in the right spot.

There are a huge amount of these around the world of Kanto, particularly in unusual areas like caves or the Underground Paths that you encounter along your way. We point any out that we’ve found so far in our walkthrough!

Battling Trainers Gyms And Raid Bosses

Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee – Gameplay Walkthrough Part 9 – Pokemon Tower!

Battling against Raid Bosses is a great way to play Pokémon GO, but its hard to know how strong your team is. Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu Guide

There are two common problems with battling Raid Bosses in Pokémon GO. First, many Trainers dont have enough time or motivation to prepare for the battle before they face off against the boss. Second, once youve entered into a raid battle it can be difficult to tell if youre doing well or not during the battle itself.

The Battling Trainer app solves these problems by providing real-time information about your progress during a raid battle and giving you detailed feedback after each raid encounter so that you can improve your skillset and strategy over time as well as share strategies with other trainers via social media networks like Facebook and Twitter. By using this application we were able to defeat our first 3 legendary raids without any issues!

Travel With An Extra Pokmon By Your Side

Youll either have Pikachu or Eevee hanging on you at all times, but you can also release one additional Pokémon from its Pokéball. We started with Eevee but still had a Pikachu we caught early in travel on our heels. Your companion Pokémons bonding level increases from letting it out of its cramped Pokéball, and you can increase this further by stopping to interact with it. Youll be rewarded in battles at times when the Pokémon cures itself of status conditions, refuses to faint or avoids attacks.

The other benefit of having a Pokémon follow you is that it will find hidden berries. When it stops in its tracks and has a text bubble over its head, you will often receive a few berries.

Legendary Pokmon Take Flight

To be fair, threeof the four Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon:Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’sGo, Eevee!Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltrescan be encountered before becomingthe Pokémon League Champion. But you need to decide whether you want to attemptto catch them before or after taking on the EliteFour. Unlike most wild Pokémon encounters in these games, you will have tobattle the Legendary Pokémon before attempting to catch them. Holding off onyour attempts gives your Pokémon team time to level up more, potentially makingthe battles easier. On the other hand, if you do manage to catch them beforearriving at the Indigo Plateau, you can bring them into your battles againstthe Elite Four.

Articuno can befound deep within the cave in the Seafoam Islands, which is located on Route 20along the southern edge of the Kanto region. This Ice- and Flying-type Pokémonhas a double weakness to Rock-type moves, but Fire-, Electric-, and Steel-type moveswill prove useful as well.

Zapdos hangs out atthe Power Plant, which can only be reached by using Sea Skim on Route 10 to reach the out-of-the-way facility. As anElectric- and Flying-type Pokémon, Zapdos is weak against Ice- and Rock-typemoves. Ground-type Pokémon won’t take damage from the Legendary Pokémon’sElectric-type moves, but at the same time, remember that Zapdos isn’t affectedby Ground-type moves.

Look Out For Coach Trainers

Coach trainers are a new addition at this point in the game and require you to take the initiative for a battle by approaching them first and speaking with them. You can spot Coach trainers by the text bubble filled with an ellipsis above their head. These trainers are typically more challenging than the regular ones in the same area. Beating them, however, often rewards you with TMs , special candies, and more cash.
