Pokmon The Movie 2000 Trading Cards
Pokémon: the Movie 2000 Trading Cards was a set of Pokémon-themed trading cards manufactured by Topps in 2000. There were 72 cards in total: 12 cards featuring scenes from Pikachu’s Rescue Adventure, 59 cards featuring scenes from The Power of One, and a checklist. Each of these 72 cards also had two foil card versions . In addition, there were bonus “chase cards” not included on the checklist, including 10 movie scene “Animation Stick-on” cards, 6 Pokémon First Appearance Hologram Cards, and Authentic Film Frame Cards.
Cards were sold in randomly distributed packets of five or eight. One card in each packet would be a randomly chosen foil card. Packs containing rainbow foil cards were distinguished by an oval “Special Collector’s Edition” stamp the boxes the packs came in also featured the same stamp.
What Are Pokemon Topps Cards
Pokemon Topps are trading cards that were first released back in 1999.
They are collectible cards that originally featured Pokemon from the Kanto region, with characters from the Johto series joining soon afterwards.
As with the Pokemon Cards that you may have used to battle with your mates, these cards came in sealed foil packets.
To paraphrase Mr Forest Gump, You never knew what you were gonna get.
Each pack would have 7 standard cards and 1 foil card hidden away inside. The foil ones are worth more, but the normal cards can still go for anywhere between $10 and $30.

Pokmon The First Movie Trading Cards
Pokémon the First Movie Trading Cards was a set of Pokémon-themed trading cards manufactured by Topps in 1999. There were 72 cards in total: 41 cards featuring scenes from Mewtwo Strikes Back, 18 cards featuring scenes from Pikachu’s Vacation, 12 evolution cards, and a checklist. Each of these 72 cards also had two foil card versions . In addition, there were 30 bonus “chase cards” not included on the checklist, including 12 die-cut embossed evolution cards and 18 sticker cards.
Cards were sold in randomly distributed packets of eight or five cards. In the first printing, the cards featured a blue Topps logo, while in the second printing, the logo was black. One card in each packet would be a randomly chosen foil card. Foil cards from the second printing had a sandpaper finish. Silver foil cards with a smooth finish but a black logo were also produced.
A promotional silver foil card numbered 0 also exists that was only distributed at Blockbuster Video stores in 1999 with the rental of the movie Mewtwo Strikes Back. The card features a blue Topps logo.
