What Is The Hidden Fates Elite Trainer Box
The Hidden fates ETB incorporates everything you need to get started in the TCG. The box contains dice, sleeves, ten booster packs containing ten cards apiece, 45 energy cards, markers and a players guide.
Every package also includes a limited edition full art Moltres, Articuno and Zapdos GX card, which is very rare.
Hidden Fates TCG set was initially released in 2019 and quickly became a fan favourite selling out fast due to favourite fan pokemon such as Charizard and the inclusion of what is known as the shiny vault.
The shiny vault is a special section of the TCG, which includes shiny variations of specific Pokemon. For example, you could get your hands on a Shiny Charizard or Mewtwo within the set.
As a result, the fan community went wild, with the ETB selling out lightning-fast along with Hidden fates booster boxes and packs.
It wasnt until this year that the set was reprinted due to its popularity. Due to the limited availability of the set, it has soared in value, making the box lucrative for many.

Other Shiny Pokemon V
This section has a similar vibe to it as the baby shiny cards that I just covered, and that is because they are in a similar situation, just at a different price point and rarity. These cards all have incredible artwork and are ultra rares in a very popular set, which sets them up for great success, especially over time. The thing about these though is outside of Charizard VMAX, none of them slapped me in the face is being significantly better than the rest. I very easily could have placed these in the other significant cards section above, but I felt reviewing these would be repetitive and not add much of anything. These are another group of cards to keep your eye on, like be the baby shinies.

What Are Baby Shinies And The Shiny Vault
Shining Fates, like the Hidden Fates set that inspired it, also offers players a shot at cards from a special Shiny Vault. The Shiny Vault essentially refers to a special pool of Pokemon cards that boast a unique “Shiny” sparkle background, and feature the respective Pokemon’s Shiny variant – these are “Baby Shiny” cards. The cards are lightly embossed, and when they’re found, they take the place of a booster pack’s “reverse holo” card. Whereas “standard” Shiny Vault Shinies are considered Baby Shinies, Full Art Shinies are generally referred to as simply Shiny V/VMAX or EX/GX cards.
Each booster pack guarantees one rare Pokemon card, and one reverse holo card minimum, meaning that players can actually find both a reverse holo and standard holo from the same pack, as long as the rare card happens to be holographic as well. In the case of Shining Fates, this means that players can pull both a Shiny Vault card and another holo card from the same booster pack.
This makes for a particularly exciting experience for many Pokemon fans. On top of the fact that Shiny Pokemon are getting featured in the trading card game, which rarely happens, players can look forward to a massive number of Shinies to collect. Over 90 Baby Shinies, and a sizable collection of Full Art Shiny Pokemon as well. Below are some of the highlights from Shining Fates’ Shiny Vault.

Recent months have seen YouTubers, influencers, Twitch streamers, and even average fans going all-out on purchasing Pokemon cards, spending upwards of thousands of dollars for Pokemon Trading Card Game booster boxes, and in some cases, just as much for a single card. Shining Fates Honorable Mentions
Shiny Koffing and Shiny Galarian Obstagoon – This duo deserves mentioning because of their inherently dazzling Shiny designs. Koffing and Obstagoon are two examples of Pokemon that received dynamically different Shiny designs. While Shiny Suicune is mostly appreciated for being a Legendary, Shiny Koffing and Obstagoon look drastically different from their original counterparts. Shiny Koffing’s noxious gas even takes a bright new shade of purple-pink, which is quite in line with Shiny Obstagoon’s own bubblegum-adjacent color palette. These two Shinies may not be considered the Shiny Vault’s crème de la crème, but they’re noteworthy nonetheless.
Full Art Trainer Cards – These are Honorable Mentions because, well, they’re not technically Shiny cards. That said, they are part of the Shining Fates set, and they feature some absolutely incredible designs, highlighting some of the game’s more recent fan-favorite characters. Shiny or note, a Full Art Ball Guy and Rose card, and a Poke Kid wearing an adorable Eevee onesie, are all unforgettable additions to the game.
Pokemon TCG Shining Fates products are now available for purchase from select retailers and local game stores. Shiny Crobat VMAX and Shiny Dragapult VMAX Premium Collections, alongside Shining Fates “Mini Tins,” will also be released on March 9, 2021.

Pokémon: Trading Card Games latest set, Shining Fates is finally out, bringing with it a whole load of new, shiny Pokémon to collect. As with most sets recently, Shining Fates is under incredible demand, with most stores selling out long before the set ever even hit shelves.
The reason for that is two-fold: first, Pokémon is at an all-time high at the moment, with anything with a Pokeball on getting bought up super quickly. Secondly, Shining Fates has some super high-value cards hidden within it, with some cards selling for well over $500. If you managed to grab a pack of Shining Fates, here are the most valuable cards you should be looking out for.
Keep in mind that set prices fluctuate a whole lot in the days and weeks after a set comes out. Cards that are worth a lot now may not be worth that same amount in the future, so make sure you keep an eye on aggregate sites like Dawnglare or TCGPlayer before buying or selling.

If the Pokemon cards are valuable: You can either hold onto the cards, perhaps get them graded if theyre really valuable, and hopefully see them appreciate in value over time. Alternatively, you sell it to a local card shop without getting ripped off since you know its worth. Lastly, you can sell it yourself on eBay to get a competitive price. If the Pokemon cards are worthless: A card doesnt have to be worth money to be considered valuable. Each card has sentimental value to someone: where they got it, the deck it was a part of, that time you used it to battle so-and-so a lot of people tend to hang onto them because of the memories. If you want to get rid of your Pokemon cards, they could be worth some memories to a relative or a stranger. Put them on Craigslist, take them to a card shop, donate them, or pass them along to your kids or a relative. Theres still a lot of fun to be had in those dusty Pokemon cards youve been hanging onto!

Welcome!Here is Titan Cards two week post release review of Shining Fates. This article will reveal if our predictions of the most valuable cards were on point and where we fell short. We will also be publishing the full confirmed set list along with our opinion of the expansion overall, including the current confirmed top 5 most valuable cards.
Lets start with the predictions we got catastrophically wrong, the ones that werent included in the set. To say we are disappointed would be an understatement. Our favourite brother and sister pairing is not included in the Shining Fates set. They do feature in the artwork of the Rusted Sword & Rusted Shield trainer cards, but it looks as though these were kept exclusive for the Japanese set- Shiny Star V. We think the reason being they were set to be released in the Zacian & Zamazenta ultimate premium collection boxes which were due to us in November 2020 for some reason they failed to make an appearance at the UK distributors.

The Top 10 Pokemon Cards From Hidden Fates & Shining Fates
Hello ChannelFireball readers, welcome back. Before I get started, I recommend checking out my last two articles where I went deep into everything-Shining Fates. They would do a great job of getting you up to date on how I think about new set releases, especially regarding such a strong and popular one such as Shining Fates.
Today will be an extension to my Shining Fates thoughts. Ill be covering the top 10 cards of Hidden Fates and then speculating the top 10 cards of Shining Fates, drawing some comparisons and forming some opinions. One set has been released for a while now, and one is just making its way into circulation this should be a great way to gain a different perspective on two of the most hyped sets of all time.
Shining Fates Set List
The Pokemon Shining Fates set is unique it contains 73 base set cards, plus a Shiny Vault subset containing 122 Shiny Pokemon.

The Shining Fates set was released on February 19, 2021. The fourth subset in the Sword & Shield Series is comprised of two part a base set containing 73 cards and a Shiny Vault set containing 122 cards. All the cards in the Shiny Vault subset are Shiny Pokemon.
Cards from this set are sold in booster packs. Packs will contain a reverse holofoil OR a Shiny Pokemon from the Shiny Vault subset. Youll also find scores of Pokemon V, VMAX, Amazing Rare, Shiny Rare, Shiny Rare V, and Shiny Rare VMAX these cards tend to be the most valuable cards in the Shining Fates set.

Okay, so these last three cards were ranked where they are because they are simply better than the other options to come out of Shining Fates, as they are on a higher tier, meaning they will very likely be more valuable from start to finish. The fact of the matter, though, is that these cards will likely be comparable in price. I just dont see one having a gigantic advantage over the other, as none of them are fan favorites or playable. It is very possible that these get knocked out of the top 10 in the long run, as I dont see them moving up on the list, and cards such as the full art Supporters have potential to make their way into the top 10. Sorry for lumping these three cards together, but like I said in the overview, the value starts to fall off hard after the chase card of the set, and I just dont have a lot of commentary to offer for these cards individually.
I wanted to include that I think the Eevee VMAX promo card is something to keep an eye on as well and did not include it in my top 10 because it is not a set card. At this point in time, I am not sure I would have included it anyways, but I wanted to put my thoughts on this one out there.
Shining Fates Most Expensive Cards
So, this is just an early indication as the set hasnt been live for too long but here are Shining Fates most expensive cards so far.
6/5/4/ Ditto VMax, Suicune and Lapras VMax
Theres a three-way tie for the opening position on this list and while there are three cards here, itll take 2 places on the list. Ditto, Suicune and Lapras cards have all sold for around the £50 mark
3/ Skyla Full Art Trainer
The first Non-Pokemon card in this whole list! The Skyla card is very nice looking and its no wonder its selling for around £90 .
2/ Eternatus VMax
Were now getting close to the big money in number one, but before that, we have Eternatus VMax. This card has sold auctions on eBay for £100 .
1/ Shiny Charizard VMax
You guessed it. This card is already insanely expensive. Auctions are finishing around £400 -£1000 on eBay in the UK, however, one card has already sold for £1900 already!!

Shining Fates Best Cards
This area is a little subjective. Ive judged the cards on a few areas here how good they are in the meta, how good they look and how cool the shiny Pokemon is. This is all my opinion, but hopefully youll agree.
5/ Shiny Corviknight
This card is nice. Shiny Corviknight isnt the brightest or flashiest variation, but its darker hues really fit the theme. Coupled with some decent moves, I like this card.
4/ Shiny Grimmsnarl
Grimmsnarl is a weird Pokemon. He doesnt look much like a Pocket Monster but is equally quite cool. His shiny form makes him really stand out and this is a nice looking card!
3/ Shiny Obstagoon
If you want to talk about Pokemon whose shiny forms are vastly different. Look no further than the Galarian Zigzagoon line. Rather than their typical black and white, they sport a vibrant blue and pink colour and look awesome for it.

2/ Shiny Ditto
Its Ditto but its blue. Say no more.
1/ Shiny Charizard VMax
It couldnt be anything else really could it? This card is fantastic you can definitely expect it to pop up again.
