Where To Find Charmander Locations In Pokemon Lets Go

To find Charmander in Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu & Eevee, there are several places that you can look. The first one is Route 4, the road between Pewter City and Cerulean City, in the top of the map. The second possibility is the Rock Tunnel, an area in the east, just north of Lavender Town. Option three is Route 21, the road in the southwest that connects Pallet Town and Cinnabar Island. The last two places where Charmanders tend to spawn are Route 22 and Route 23, both on the far left of the map, connecting Indigo Plateau and Viridian City.

As is the case with most other Pokemon, Charmander appears as a Wild Pokemon that you then have to catch. Now, Pokemon will mostly appear in the patches of tall grass. Thats not a rule, but it does happen fairly often. So, we managed to get a Charmander to spawn in these locations by using a lure to attract more Pokemon, because Charmander is kinda rare. We would engage all non-Charmanders, then escape the fight, to facilitate more spawns. Eventually, a Charmander appeared. Due to the nature of the spawns, though, youre experience might vary.

Alternatively, you can talk to a man in a denim shirt and green pants on Route 24. Thats the path leading north of Cerulean City. Youll run into the guy just after crossing Nugget Bridge. Hell give you a Charmander after youve caught a total of 50 Pokemon.

Pokemon Let

Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee are re-tellings of the classic Yellow Version . As such, trainers cannot choose the typical Kanto Region Starter Pokémon Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle to begin their journey.

That doesn’t mean you can’t get them along the way. In Pokémon Yellow Version, just like in the anime, you could get all three Kanto Starters as gifts. It’s the same in Pokémon Let’s Go. But, that’s not the only way to catch the starters.

Of course, you can just transfer them over from Pokémon Go if you have an account but there may be some wild Kant Starters you can come across.

Here’s all the ways you can catch Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle in your Let’s Go adventure.

HOW TO CATCH BULBASAUR

When you reach Cerulean City, head to the house next to the Pokémon Center. You’ll find a female NPC that wants to gift her Bulbasaur to you. However, you’ll need to catch 30 Pokémon first.

This doesn’t mean 30 different species of Pokémon you can catch 30 Pidgey, it doesn’t matter. Also, Pokémon transferred from Pokémon Go or obtained via trade in-game does not count toward the 30 Pokémon goal.

Wild Bulbasaur can also appear but are very rare and only in the Viridian Forest. You can increase your chance of finding a Bulbasaur by using Lures and Super Lures as well as amassing a Catch Combo, but this only works in this case when catching Bulbasaur. This is the case with Charmander and Squirtle as well.

Like with the Bulbasaur you can obtain from the woman in Cerulean City, theres also a Charmander you can get from an NPC. Head north of Cerulean City up Nugget Bridge and to the north-west corner. Theres a chap standing at the bottom of the hills with his Charmander next to him. Hell give it to you as long as youve caught a total of 50 Pokemon or more. That doesnt have to be 50 unique Pokemon, just 50 in total. By this point, if you were building up your Catch Combo for Bulbasaur earlier and if youve been shiny hunting, youll likely be way past that so itll be no problem.

As everyone knows, Charmander evolves into Charizard who is one of the most powerful and popular Pokemon from the original 151. Get your hands on Charmander early, and before long, Charizard will be one of your best buds along with Venusaur and Blastoise.

By the way, have you obtained Mew yet? You can get it from the very start of the game!

Pokmon Lets Go: Where To Find The Rarest Pokmon

Pokemon Lets Go: Pikachu and Lets Go Eevee have brought the much-loved Pokemon RPG to a wider audience, satisfying veteran trainers and newbies alike. These two games brought us back to Kanto, with the original 151 Pokemon . While this may seem like a lot of Pokemon to a new fan of the franchise, older fans will find this a comparatively small number. Today, there are almost a thousand Pokemon that now exist within the Pokemon universe.

This number is ever-increasing with new iterations of the famed RPG, but for now, Lets Go will only have the original cast . Amongst those Pokemon, some are much rarer than others. Here are their locations and how to catch them.

With the neverending rumors of a new Lets Go game on the way, this time focused around Johto, its easy to forget that the originals are still amazing and playable years after their release. We thought it would be wise to revisit this list and make sure its up to date for those looking to find the last few elusive Pokemon for their Pokedex.

Where To Get Squirtle In Pokemon Let’s Go

You’ll actually see Squirtle a little before you can actually catch the cheeky Pokemon, as it’s causing poor Officer Jenny trouble. It actually makes her abandon her post which lets you continue where you couldn’t before – and later, down in Vermillion City, you’ll find she’s caught the Squirtle. Can a Pokemon be put under arrest? Anyway, you know the score by now – the officer wants somebody to take care of the Squirtle and keep it out of trouble. That can be you, if you’ve caught at least 60 Pokemon – if you have, Squirtle is yours.

Like the other starters, Squirtle also exists out in the wild to be caught. Wild Squirtle can be found on Route 24, Route 25 and the Seafoam Islands – making this the latest ‘natural catch’ of these three in the game.

Charmander In Pokemon Let’s Go: Charmander Location For Gift & Wild Encounters

Where To Find Charmander In Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Let’s Go Eevee! (All Locations)

As with the other classic starter Pokemon, Charmander can be grabbed in one of two ways – through an NPC or in a natural catch, albeit a rare and difficult one. Here’s how the two processes work for the fire lizard :

  • To get a Charmander without catching, you’ll want to first reach Cerulean City. This, again, is quite early in the game. North of Cerulean City you’ll find the Nugget Bridge leading to Route 24. The story of Pokemon Let’s Go will bring you this way anyway. As you exit the Nugget Bridge onto Route 24 proper, look north – here you’ll see a trainer standing against some sheer rock face, and he has a Charmander with him. Like Bulbasaur, he has a requirement – if you’ve caught 50 Pokemon or more, he’ll give you his Charmander.
  • For your wild Charmander location, you’ll want to head to either Route 3, Route 4 or the Rock Tunnel that connects them. Again, this is a rare encounter that doesn’t even show up on the habitat section of the Pokedex, so you’ll need to do a lot of grinding, building up catch combos and using lures to try to lure out a Charmander. They are there, though.
