You know when you catch a few Pokémon of the same species during a single run and get a ‘Catch Combo’? This doesn’t only increase the XP you gain for catching Pokémon, it also increases your chances of nabbing a Pokémon with higher max IVs. Here’s how it all works:

What this means, basically, is that if you catch at least 31 of the same species of Pokémon in a row, during the same catching session, you’re guaranteed to have at least four IVs at the maximum score of 31.

Since Nintendo Switch Pokemon: Letâs Go Pikachu has been recently released, it has almost every major Pokemon of the Kanto region. Needless to say, the game starts with Pikachu as your buddy so you would automatically have this electric-type Pokemon by your side. Apart from the smaller dimensions, it only supports handheld mode and does not support all games. Joy-Con controllers must be purchased additionally and the Switch Lite cannot be connected to a TV.

The positive thing is that it still supports Lets Go and can be paired with Pokemon Go. Just like Big Brother, in a few taps through the settings, you pair your Pokemon Go with a Switch and send your Pokemon to Go Park. Go Park an in-game location where you explore, interact with other Pokemon, and of course catch them.

However, for trainers, who play Lets Go on Switch Lite, some things may be a little harder.

For carefree playing and taking advantage of all the benefits of a game, such as a Partner Powers, trainers should buy Joy-Con controllers which is an additional cost. With that said, its a better idea to just invest a little more and buy a regular Switch.

Can I Catch Pokmon With Flawless Ivs

Absolutely, though there’s no sure-fire method of doing so. You’ll have to get to a catch combo chain of at least 31, then continue to catch Pokeémon of the same species until you see the ‘Best’ rating for each of the IVs.

It’s worth noting that your chances of catching a flawless Pokémon don’t increase the more Pokémon you catch after you’ve reached the max catch chain combo score of 31. Instead, you’ll continue to get Pokémon with the four maxed IVs and will have a standard chance of the two remaining IVs being perfect too.

Every Game That Works Better On Nintendo Switch Than On Switch Lite

The Nintendo Switch Lite is a dedicated handheld gaming system that doesnt have removable Joy-Cons, cant dock to a TV, doesnt include motion controls, and doesnt include a kickstand. The lack of motion controls and removable controllers, in particular, make it so that the Switch Lite has issues playing some of the best Nintendo Switch games, whether that be the small number of Switch games that dont support handheld mode or the much larger number of games that rely on motion controls and Joy-Con waving.

Now, if you pair a Pro Controller or Joy-Cons to the Switch Lite, you can still play most of these games. However, since there is no kickstand on the smaller Switch, youll need a great stand to prop up your gaming system.
