Basics And Rules Of The Trade
No matter which way you trade, you should remember the following rules:
- Traded Pokémon gain EXP quicker. It’s a good idea to trade as many Pokémon as possible back and forth with a friend to reach higher levels more easily.
- Even if you trade away the last Pokémon of a certain kind, the credit for catching it will not be erased. In other words, you don’t actually need to keep all 151 Pokémon to get a complete Pokedex.
- You don’t get credit for a Pokémon’s pre-evolutions when you catch its evolved form. The same holds true for trading. If you receive a Raichu in a trade, you don’t automatically get credit for Pikachu if you haven’t caught one yourself.
- Make a deal with your friend that when you trade him/her Haunter, Machoke, Graveler or Kadabra, they’ll return their evolved forms right back to you. This way, both players will get credit for them.
- Remember that certain badges are required to successfully control higher-level Pokémon.

Pokémon FireRed Version and Pokémon LeafGreen Version are a pair of core seriesGeneration III games that are set in the Kantoregion. They were released in Japan on January 29, 2004, in North America on September 9, 2004, in Australia on September 23, 2004 and in Europe on October 1, 2004.
As the first remakes in the Pokémon franchise, the games revisit the original pair of Pokémon games, Pokémon Red and Green Versions. The remakes feature the characters, plot elements, and challenges from the originals, along with several updates introduced in Generation III.
The Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter was initially included with the games when they were first released, eliminating the need for Game Link Cables when trading between the two games . In later copies, it was sold separately.

Find The Glitch In The Safari Zone
Perhaps the most annoying part of catching Pokemon in the Safari Zone is the time limit. You only have a fixed amount of time to do everything you want to do. However, thanks to one of the Pokemon Fire Red cheats, you can stop the timer in its tracks.
To do this, you must stand in a grassy spot in the Safari Zone. Then, lightly tap left and right so that your character changes directions but does not move in the process. Just do this multiple times until you come across wild Pokemon. This time, though, the timer will not continue ticking.

Another Kalos Starter For Any Pokmon
After beating the Elite Four for the first time in the Kalos games, youll be greeted by the friendly Shauna.
For the first time ever in a Pokémon game, you have the opportunity to trade any Pokémon you have, for the chance to obtain a second Kalos starter!
This starter itself will be the type that was weaker to the starter you originally chose. So for example if you chose Fennekin, you would get Froakie the second time around.
This has little in-game benefits, with the story being over when you receive the trade.
But its still a nice touch to receive two starters in one save file.
Get Max Stats For Pokemon
Your Pokemon have different stat levels, which means you cannot make the most out of every one of them in every scenario. However, there is a way to increase the stat levels of all your Pokemon in your party, though you will need to do it one by one. This is especially ideal if you only wish to max out the stat level of a handful of your Pokemon and not necessarily all of them.

Find Secret Items In These Locations
After obtaining the Itemfinder in the game, you can gain access to previous locations. You now have the ability to revisit locations where characters stood before. From here, you can discover rare and secret items in the game. It will not work, though, if you only stand a few inches from or just near the place where characters previously stood. You must stand at the exact same spot so that the Itemfinder will locate the secret items.
Here are the items you can uncover at their corresponding locations:
- Sacred Ash you can find this at Navel Rock
- Leftovers you can find these near the Cycling Road and Silence Bridge
- Soothe Bell you can find this in the Pokemon Tower
- Macho Brace you can find this in the Viridian Gym
