Hoe De Thunder Stone Te Vinden In Pokemon Sword And Shield

How To Catch Pikachu And Raichu

Where to Find a Thunder Stone in Pokemon Sword and Shield ...

In PokemonSword & Shield, wild Pikachu can spawn at two locations. The first location is actually shared with Eevee, Route 4. Pikachu’s spawn rate there is a little more common than Eevee. It is easier to catch there too because it is not weather or time-of-day dependent. Another way to get a Pikachu is in the Stony Wilderness, but only during Rain or Thunderstorm weather. If the player wants a male or female, keep an eye on its tail shape. Female Pikachu have a heart-shaped tail while males have a lightning-shaped one. However, when they evolve into a Raichu, there is no gender difference in its design.

A Raichu must be evolved from a Pikachu. They cannot be caught in the wild.

Its been a long time coming, but Sylveon now has a clear release date in Pokémon Go. It will be arriving in the Luminous Legends Y event, which kicks off May 18. However, Sylveon wont be making its appearance the second part, on May 25. The first part of the Luminous Legends Y event will have players hunting down several Dark-type Pokémon as Yveltal makes its debut to the mobile game.

Its been revealed that how players evolve Eevee into Sylveon will earn hearts when Eevee is your buddy. Although, other Eevee evolutions also require this step, which means there will be a bit more well have to do when Sylveon does release. Well be learning more about it on May 25.

Sylveon is the Fairy-type evolution for Eevee. This is the final Eevee evolution that many players have been waiting for. Following the Luminous Legends Y event, youll still be able to evolve any Eevee you capture into a Sylveon, so long as you follow the exact steps. Alternatively, Sylveon will have an evolution name trick, which means if you give an Eevee this name, it will evolve into a Sylveon, but you can only do it once.

How To Evolve Charjabug In Pokemon Sword & Shield

Put simply, players will need to use a Thunder Stone in order to evolve Charjabug in Generation 8. This is a great change, as having to level them up in a specific area was annoying and tedious, as it always is when trying to evolve a pokemon via leveling up. Some of the reasons why this is disliked by many are that most players would rather farm wild pokemon in areas that yield greater Exp or wish to allow Charjabug to gain specific Effort Values .

Another nice thing about this change is that players don’t have to guess or time when to evolve their Charjabug, as the mechanics revolving around its previous evolution method were always obscure at best. Utilizing a Thunder Stone gives trainers a lot more control when thinking about ascending Charjabug into a Vikavolt, which is ideal for letting gamers level up Charjabug until they learn specific moves before evolving them.

Raichu is better than Pikachu.

If you want to evolve your Pikachu into a Raichu or your Eevee into a Jolteon in Pokémon Sword and Shield, youre going to have to track down some Thunder Stones. These have been a part of Pokémon games since Gen I, but where can they be found in Gen VIII?

The Wild Area is your best bet to find some Thunder Stones with there being three different opportunities to pick one up with one of the methods regularly giving you new ones, though you will need to have made some story progress.

The first Pokémon Sword and Shield Thunder Stone you can find will be available almost immediately after entering your first Wild Area.

Heres the location for the most immediately accessible Thunder Stone in Pokémon Sword and Shield.

Head northeast until you see a small hill, then walk along its ridge until you see the Thunder Stone as an item just sitting there.

The other method needs you to have had made significant story progress before you can even access it. Right in the northwest point of the Wild Area, theres a small island featuring loads of rocks in a formation, the games likely nod to Stonehenge.

Behind each of these rocks, you can find a different evolution stone, one of them being a Thunder Stone.

The good thing about these evolution stones is that they will sporadically regenerate, so you have plenty of opportunities to farm up some evolved Electric-type Pokémon.

The Electric Tale Of Pikachu

In Clefairy Tale, Ash, Professor Oak, and Bill witnessed a Clefairy evolution ceremony involving a large Moon Stone.

The focus of the chapter To Evolve or Not to Evolve, That Is the Question! was Evolution stones. Misty hoped to buy a Water Stone for her Poliwhirl in Stone Town, a town on Dream Island where all the Evolution stones in the Pokémon world come from. However, she couldn’t afford one, remarking that an inexpensive one might make the evolution go bad.

Misty was later given a Water Stone by Mikey, who was being pressured to join the “Knights of the E Stone“, a club which requires members to own a Pokémon evolved by an Evolution stone. By battling club members, Ash and Mikey proved to the club leaders that Pokémon which have evolved by Evolution stone are not necessarily superior to their unevolved counterparts.

Pokémon Sword and Shield: Where To Find Thunder Stones

After youve identified and acquired the stone needed to evolve your Pokémon, the last step is to trigger the Pokémons evolution. To do so, simply locate the evolution stone in your bag and select Use to use it on a Pokémon. Note: selecting Give will cause the Pokémon to hold the item and not evolve.

While youre free to evolve a Pokémon using an elemental stone at any time, its typically best if you wait for it to level up and learn certain moves before doing so. Evolve your Pokémon too early and youll risk missing out on some useful moves they could have learned.
