When Pokémon was first released Eevee only had three evolutions: Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon were one of the original 150 Pokémon that debuted in Pokémon Red and Blue in 1996. However, as the years have gone by and more games have come out, more evolutions for the popular Eevee have been released, bringing the grand total of possible evolutions up to seven, more than any other Pokémon.

You need to choose the time of day to evolve your Eevee in order to get Espeon or Umbreon. Eevee will only evolve into Espeon during the day, while Umbreon will only show up at night.

When you’re ready to evolve your Eevee, make sure to keep it as your buddy Pokemon! This will make sure that the evolving trick will work.
Avoid Evolving During Early Morning Or Early Evening
To ensure you get the Eevee evolution you want, it’s best to avoid early morning or evening. Avoid 4:00AM – 7:00AM for Espeon and 5:00PM – 8:00PM for Umbreon.
When Defending A Gym Get Free Stuff
Now that youve got a Pokemon defending a gym, go to the in-game Shop, tap the Shield icon and get free Coins and Stardust. Coins are in-game currency that you can use to buy items like Pokeballs, Potions, and even bigger item bags. You can also buy coins with real-world money! What, did you think there were no micro-transactions in innocent little Pokémon Go? Of course, the only real way to play for free is to acquire Coins by assigning a Pokemon to defend a gym. Pressing the Shield will get you 10 coins and 500 Stardust per each Pokemon of yours defending that gym. However, you need to wait 21 hours before you can tap the Shield again! Alternate Eevee Evolution Methods For Leafeon Glaceon Umbreon And Espeon
Gen 4’s Leafeon and Glaceon have a second Eevee evolution method, by using the Mossy Lure or Glacial Lure respectively. When you’re in range of that PokéStop with the Lure enabled, go to your Eevee and choose the Evolution.
Meanwhile, Gen 2’s Umbreon and Espeon also have a second Eevee evolution method. Walk your Eevee as a Buddy for 10km, then evolve it either during the night or day and it’ll turn into the desired evolution.
Note you specifically need to walk 10k and earn two Candies in the process, then keep Eevee as your Buddy when evolving, and be either day or night during the game itself for it to work .
Since the naming trick only works once per evolution type, this appears to be a useful way to get a second Espeon or Umbreon with some reliability.

This trick can be somewhat finicky, so do make sure that Eevee is still your buddy when you evolve it and ensure that you have GPS signal so that the game has the time of day absolutely right where you are. Fortunately, this isnt limited like the nicknames so you can do it as often as you like .

Rename Your Eevee To Kira Before Evolution
In Pokemon Go, you can evolve your Eevee into any of its specific evolution by renaming it to a specified name. However, this trick only works once. This means you can use the name trick to get Sylveon in Pokemon Go if you dont have it yet. It is a very simple and straightforward method.
You just have to rename your Eevee to Kira in order to evolve it into a Sylveon. To do that, go to your Pokemon collection, choose Eevee, and rename it to Kira. After that, give your Eevee 25 Eevee candies to evolve it. It will definitely evolve into a Sylveon.

To Get Sylveon In Pokmon Go You Have To Evolve Eevee In A Specific Way
As previously mentioned, Eevee has had a lot of evolution iterations over the years, and Sylveon is just the latest one to join the roster. However, evolution works a bit differently in Pokémon GOas opposed to other Pokémon games in the past. The evolution process in this game is dictated by feeding the Pokémon a certain number of candies that will eventually evolve them.
