How To Get Mew In Pokemon Let’s Go
There’s no secondary spawn for Mewtwo, but it is worth keeping in mind that the Pokemon that it’s cloned from, Mew, is available to players in a far easier way. Mew is included with every purchase of the Poke Ball Plus as a sort of bonus for players who go all-in on their Pokemon Let’s Go Experience.
Mew arrives at a low level and isn’t massively powerful, but as a pure psychic type it’s a type you don’t encounter often until later on in the game, so it’s a very useful bonus indeed.
Where Is The Power Plant In Pokmon: Let’s Go
The Power Plant is located near Route 10. Visit this section of the map and journey to the Poké Centre. Head north to the edge of the water by the long grass and use your Sea Skim technique to surf on the water.
Now, follow the river south until you reach a lake. Head west and get back on dry land as soon as you can and you’ll find the Power Plant nearby.
Pokmon Let’s Go: How To Find Zapdos In The Power Plant
Unlike the other two Legendary Birds , Zapdos is thankfully quite easy to find.
It’s located in the top left, or north-west, corner of the one main room in the Power Plant. To get there, simply head over to the far right side from the entrance, then up to the north and across, leftwards, to the west to find it amongst some large machinery!
Like the other Legendaries it’s a fairly tricky battle. Zapdos is Electric and Flying-type, meaning that it’s immune to the usual Electric counter of Ground-type attacks. Your best bets are Rock and Ice, to counter its Flying typing. Ground-types work well defensively, meanwhile.
Once it’s defeated, things work much the same as they did with those Snorlax you’ll have already encountered by now: it’s the standard catching mode, only it can’t run away . So take your time and remember to use berries effectively to help!
That’s everything here in this optional area. If you’re after more post-game areas head to Cerulean Cave for the next steps in your post-game quest, or cycle back to our main Pokémon Let’s Go walkthrough and guide hub for all the other pages we have like this.
Sometimes we include links to online retail stores. If you click on one and make a purchase we may receive a small commission. Read our policy.

How To Catch Articuno In Pokemon Let’s Go
Where to find the Seafoam Islands
Articuno likewise has a fitting location for its ice-type legendary Pokemon origins – it’s found out in the seas, specifically on the Seafoam Islands to the east of Cinnabar Island, one of the major cities in the game. The Seafoam Islands are easy enough to reach, but once you get there you’ll find your path forward obscured by some basic puzzles.
You’ll need the Strong Push secret technique to solve these puzzles – essentially you have to push some big stone blocks into holes in order to clog up the river and slow its flow so you can get to new areas – and it’s in these areas where you’ll find Articuno. It’s all quite simple, really, and you’ll find some decent Pokemon along the way like Jynx, Slowpoke, Slowbro, Seel and Dewgong – plus a chance to catch a Squirtle if you’re lucky.
When the time comes to fight Articuno, keep in mind its mixed ice-type and flying-type status. That makes it weak to Electric, Rock, Fire and Steel attacks. Don’t be tempted to deploy Zapdos here if you already picked it up – it’s weak to Ice, remember. Your best bet are water-type Pokemon, since that’ll resist Articuno’s devastating ice attacks.
When you catch Articuno, it’ll be at level 50.
How Do I Catch Zapdos In Pokmon: Let’s Go
If you followed our guide to the Power Plant above, you’re all set to catch yourself a Zapdos. Enter the Power Plant and reach the northwestern section, where you’ll find a lonely Zapdos chilling. Touch it to initiate a battle with the Legendary Pokémon.
You’ve got five minutes to defeat this dude before you can attempt to catch it, so we recommend whipping out any powerful Ground, Grass, Electric, or Dragon Pokémon you have sitting about to make this battle easier. Zapdos is level 50, so it’s worth bearing that in mind before you begin. You’ll need an equally powerful Pokémon to tackle this one.
If you manage to defeat it, it’s time to try catching it. Don’t worry, you won’t have to contend with a timer when you get to the catching phase, as just catching the bird is difficult enough. We recommend bringing a bunch of Great or Ultra Balls and some Razz Berries to give you the highest possible chance of catching Zapdos. Now go and give it a shot.
Did this guide help you catch the legendary Pokémon Zapdos? Are you having loads of fun with Pokémon: Let’s Go? Let us know all about it in the comments section below!

Catching A 2nd Moltres In The Wild
You can actually catch another Moltres in the wild – and more beyond that – if you’re patient and dedicated to your legendary-farming craft. As with the previous legendary birds, these extra appearances in the wild take place as a rare Pokemon spawn with some painfully low spawning rates.
After you’ve grabbed Moltres from Victory Road, it can be a rare spawn on Routes 1-4, 6-8, 10-19 and 21-25. You’ll need to be flying on a Pokemon of your own for a chance of catching up with it.

Most Gym Leader Designs Are Based On Firered And Leafgreen
While most gym leader designs in the Pokémon Lets Go games are slightly different from any other interpretation of the characters, most of them draw heavy inspiration from their Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen designs.
Brock is wearing an almost identical outfit to the one he wore in the third generation and Sabrinas purple-burgundy attire most closely resembles her third generation color scheme. Since FireRed and LeafGreen are also remakes of the original Pokémon games, it makes sense that the character designs would be rather similar.

How To Get To The Power Plant In Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu And Lets Go Eevee
The Power Plant is a location that houses the legendary electric Pokemon Zapdos. Its not an area that you visit at any point throughout your main quest, however, so heres how to get the Power Plant in Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee.
For anyone who has visited Kanto in any of its previous iterations, its in the exact same spot that it has always been in. For those who are on their first journey through Kanto or for people that may have forgotten, lets break it down.
The first thing to note is that the Power Plant isnt accessible early on in the game. Although you come close to it at one point, it isnt possible to reach it until you have the Sea Skim secret technique.
Sea Skim can be learned from the man with the surfboard in Fuchsia City. More details can be found here.
There is an alternative option, which is to have a rideable Pokemon that you can fly on, such as Charizard or Aerodactyl. After you beat the game, these Pokemon can fly up higher and cross over large bodies of water. However, this will take more work than getting Sea Skim and isnt entirely necessary.
Once you have your means of moving across the water, travel to Route 10, and then make your way towards the Pokemon Center on the east side.
Once again, here are the steps for how to get to the Power Plant in Pokemon Lets Go:
Best of luck catching Zapdos!

How Do I Get The Sea Skim Technique In Pokmon: Let’s Go
To learn the secret Sea Skim technique in Pokémon: Let’s Go, reach Fuchsia City in the main story and head on over to the GO Park Complex. You know, the place where you transfer Pokémon between Pokémon GO and Pokémon: Let’s Go.
Now, find the surfer standing near a Lapras and have a little chat to him. He’ll teach you how to use the Sea Skim technique on the spot, which is incredibly kind! Now you can catch yourself a Zapdos.
Pokemon Lets Go Power Plant What To Do There
The Pokemon Lets Go Power Plant is jam-packed with powerful Electric-type Pokemon. You can catch Magnemite, or even Magneton if youre lucky. Also, this is the only location in the game that you can catch Electabuzz in, who has a decent Attack stat, allowing him to make use of STAB Electric-type moves.
However, the real reason the Power Plant is worth visiting is because its home to the powerful Legendary Bird Zapdos. One part of the infamous Legendary Bird trio, Zapdos is a monstrously strong Pokemon who is lightning fast and hits like a truck. Although this makes it a worthy addition to any team, it also means that it will pose a huge threat to unprepared trainers. As the Legendary Bird encounters are static encounters like Snorlax in Pokemon Lets Go, trainers will have to defeat Zapdos before getting the chance to capture it.

What Are Alolan Pokmon
Alolan forms are regional variants of certain Pokémon species found in the Alola region, which were originally introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon for Nintendo 3DS. Since the Alola region is a remote island separated from the mainland, certain Pokémon species adapted to the different environment and look a bit different from their Kanto counterparts. These Pokémon have different types than the original versions, so having both forms may put you at an advantage when assembling your team for certain important battles.

You’ll Need Some Special Maneuvers
While roaming the world of Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee is easy throughout most of the adventure, later areas of the game are locked off. One of these is the Power Plant, which hovers just outside of your normal reach, at least at first. Later in the game you will learn moves and abilities that help get you places you couldnt otherwise reach. Were here to help explain them, so heres how to get to the power plant in Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee.
Just in case you forgot already, or havent seen it at all, the power plant is on Route 10. This is the route thats just north of Lavender Town and east of Cerulean City. Once youre close, the key to being able to get to the power plant is having the ability Sea Skim. This allows you to surf around with your Pikachu, Eevee, or other Pokemon and its the best way into the power plant.
You can learn this technique in Fuschia City, from the surfer who hangs out near the GO Complex. If you havent made it here yet, just keep working on the main quest and youll arrive eventually. Once you learn the technique you can head back to Route 10 via the east path out of Cerulean City. Keep heading east and youll see a small river in the northeast corner of the road. Jump in and ride it all the way to the power plant.
And thats how to get to the power plant in Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee. Of course, getting there is just half the battle. Once youre there youll want to know how to catch Zapdos.
How To Acquire Sea
Before you proceed to locate Power Plant, you will need to acquire Sea-Skim ability. Without this, you cannot reach the target location. Go to GO Park located in the northern corner of Fuchsia City. Find a man standing next to Lapras, he will teach Eevee/Pikachu Sea-Skim ability. This allows you to surf on water.

Potions Have Their Generation Vii Healing Values
Pokémon Lets Go, Pikachu! and Lets Go, Eevee! are a part of the seventh generation of Pokémon games, like Pokémon Sun, Moon, and their enhanced versions. So, while the games loosely follow the events of the originals, other elements are in line with the latest titles.
For instance, the amount of HP that potions recover corresponds to the amount healed in Pokémon Sun and Moon, instead of the original games. So, while Super Potions heal for the improved 60 HP, Hyper Potions sadly only restore 120 health.
How To Get To Power Plant In Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu & Eevee
To get to the power Plant in Pokemon Lets Go, first go to the Pokemon Center in Cerulean City. From there, go down and to the right until you reach the girl standing around with her Electrode. Theres a small tree across the road from her. Use the Chop Down secret technique to open the way. From there, head to the right, then up, then down the path on the right. Cut down another small tree.
After youve cleared the road for yourself once again, keep going to the right, towards the upper right corner of the map. Youll eventually come across a Pokemon Center below you, on Route 10, right at the entrance into a large tunnel. Heal up your Pokemon and do whatever else you need to. Then, head to the upper right corner, through the whole in the fence. When you reach the edge of the river, use the Sea Skim secret technique to surf down the river. Head right, then down all the way, then to the left, and disembark at the door of the Power Plant.
This was our method of reaching the power plant in Pokemon Lets Go. If you have a method you feel is better, let us know. Now matter how you reach it, get ready for a lot of trouble in there. Among other things, youll be fighting the legendary bird Zapdos. For more info on that, check out our Zapdos Legendary Bird guide.
