Using Soaring Storm Against The Relentless Flame Theme Deck
Both decks are S-Tier and Ive won and lost an equal number of matches when using one agains the other. Heres a tournament finale I played in which it came down to the last Prize card.
The only reason I recommend using Soaring Storm in tournaments is because of people using Unseen Depths. Water Pokemon counter Relentless Flame pretty hard, but cant do much to Soaring Storm.
The only thing that can make Soaring Storm fair, is if we get a good Fairy+Fighting type Theme Deck soon until then, enjoy dominating Pokemon TCG Online with your Flying squad.

Stick To The Current Sets
As with any other trading card game, the Pokémon TCG has changed a lot since it was released in the ’90s. Back then, Charizard was by far one of the best cards, having 120HP, the maximum amount at the time. Now there’s Snorlax Vmax, with an absurd 340HP. Not only that, but there’s been the addition of special cards, like EX, GX, and the newest, Vmax.

Not only would it be impractical to try and use cards from older sets against the behemoths, but you wouldn’t be able to participate in tournaments. If that’s not an issue for you, then go for it. Select The Right Trainer Cards
It’s not enough to just throw any trainer cards in your deck. You have the right trainers. Trainer cards are split into three categories: supporter, items, and stadium.

For supporters, it is critical that most of them are cards that allow you to draw. To start with, include 8-10 of these. With a Fire, Water, and Grass triangle being a big part of the Pokemon TCG Online meta, Soaring Storm is the fourth S-Tier Theme deck. Soaring Storm doesnt have a Type-advantage against any of these decks, and still manages to be super strong.
Its just as good as Relentless Flame. It hits hard, sets up pretty fast, has incredible synergy and drawing power, and goes a step beyond Relentless Flame in having no real hard counters in the meta. It also has the speed and quick draw power of Unseen Depths, and youll often end up having over ten cards in your hand late-game.
Soaring Storm can be purchased from the in-game shop for 500 Coins. The deck is incredible for Theme Tournaments, where none of the meta decks are super-effective against it.

The main advantage of this deck is how well ADPs Steel Energy requirement goes with Zacian V. ADP is weak against Fairy Types, a type that was discontinued earlier this year. The Altered Creation GX is an absolutely broken attack, since it gives all of your Pokemon +30 damage for the rest of the game.
