Besides its beauty, Ho-oh is a powerful pokemon excels in Fire and Flying techniques with its signature Sacred Fire move. Giratina is a powerful, aggressive mix of ghost and dragon types and it acts as the unpopular companion to Dialga and Palkia. It can even leave Pokémon stranded in the afterlife.

Palpitoad is an unusual Water-Type Pokémon that makes inspired use of vibrations to help aid its attacks. Ash first runs into the Pokémon during his time in Unova and he unintentionally becomes a part of an underwater ambush. Ash uses his new Pokémon, Oshawott, to wear down Palpitoads resistance until he catches the creature and makes it his 40th Pokémon. Ash really only uses Palpitoad during his Unova battles but its a Pokémon that he regularly turns to in Gym Battles, even if Palpitoad doesnt always come out on top.

Are Legendaries Stronger Than Regular Ones

If were just basing on lore, then chances are they usually are. However, in the games, it usually boils down to several factors. While Legendary Pokemon have high stats, special abilities, and other advantages, the nature of the Pokemon games will allow any Pokemon to beat a Legendary. You probably saw a lot of those videos where a team of Legendary Pokemon got defeated by a Bidoof.

That sounds silly but in a way, balance is always present in the Pokemon games. Then again, we are not just brushing off the fact that Legendary Pokemon isnt entirely weak. You also have to keep in mind of RNG and chance. You can even get a Legendary Pokemon that has low stats and a bad Nature.

Then again, you could also get lucky and get a Legendary that has high IV, a good Nature to match, and why not let it be a Shiny one. You just have to customize your Legendary to be good in battle if its default stats arent doing it any good.

List Of Legendary Pokemon: Eon Duo

The Eon Duo: Latias and Latios

Unlike many Pokemons in this list of Legendary Pokemon, the Eon Duo originally didnt have a clear legend about them, except for the fact that they are extremely rare. The duo includes two Dragon/Psychic-type Pokemon named Latias, the female one, and Latios, the male one.

They once made their appearance in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Latias roams around in Pokemon Ruby and HeartGold, while Latios roams around in Pokemon Sapphire and SoulSilver. In Pokemon Emerald, after the players defeated the Elite Four, there will be a chain of events which tells players to pursue the duo.

The Eon Duo made more important role in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire as they will side with players to defeat Groudon and Kyogre . As for Gen 2‘s Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-oh and Celebi, they’ve appeared in datamining efforts, too, with their stats showing up alongside the likes of the birds, Mew and Mewtwo.

These stats reveal them to be among the best Pokémon in our Pokémon Go tier list, with Mewtwo and Ho-Oh having some of the highest base attacks in the game, more so than existing creatures Alakazam and Dragonite.
