Name Trick Method For Evolving Eevee Into Espeon
One of the two ways that Pokemon GO trainers can turn their Eevee into an Espeon is by using a naming trick that was discovered quite some time ago. By changing Eevees name to Sakura, itll automatically turn into Espeon once it has been fed 25 Eevee Candies.

To change the name of a Pokemon, players will want to go into the Pokemons profile and then hit the pencil icon by its current name. This will allow for the changing of a Pokemons nickname. Its worth noting that this trick will only work one time per evolution type, meaning that players will not be able to get multiple Espeons from this exploit. Make sure to pick the perfect Eevee with the best stats before the decision is made.
Once the nickname has been changed, players will need to select the Evolve option in the Pokemons data screen. Pokemon GO will then make the player confirm the evolution, and then the Espeon will be there to greet them. Of course, trainers can always change the nickname to something else or just name it Espeon, depending on how they play. Changing Sakura to anything else will not cancel out the evolution or somehow revert the Espeon back into an Eevee.

Keep All Your Shinies
There are lots of Eevee evolutions to collect, and if youre a crazy collector youll also want to have both male and female versions.
After using the Eevee name trick, you cant always choose which evolution you get. So make sure to collect plenty of shinies so you can have another shot if you get any doubles.

To use the Eevee Name Trick you will have to use these nicknames given below.
- Rainer: Use this name trick and you will be able to evolve your Eevee into a Vaporeon
- Sparky: Use this name trick and you will be able to evolve your Eevee into a Jolteon
- Pyro: Use this name trick and you will be able to evolve your Eevee into a Flareon
- Sakura: Use this name trick and you will be able to evolve your Eevee into an Espeon
- Tamao: Use this name trick and you will be able to evolve your Eevee into an Umbreon
- Linnea: Use this name trick and you will be able to evolve your Eevee into a Leafeon
- Rea: Use this name trick and you will be able to evolve your Eevee into a Glaceon

How To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon In Pokmon Go
Sylveon was finally released into Pokémon Go on May 25th, 2021 as part of the Luminous Legends Y event.
Though it can only be used once, the easiest way to evolve an Eevee into Sylveon is to change its nickname to Kira and ensure you have at least 25 Eevee Candy.
Before you press evolve, however, make sure the silhouette for Sylveon is on the evolve button – if it’s not then you’re Eevee may evolve into a different Eeveelution.
If this does occur for the you, it can be easily fixed by closing Pokémon Go and opening it again.
Once you’ve used the name trick, Eevee can be evolved into Sylveon by earning 70 Buddy hearts with it, which means your chosen Eevee needs to be at Great Buddy Level. Swapping buddies will not reset your progress towards Sylveon, so feel free to change your Buddy Pokémon freely.
You’ll also still need 25 Eevee Candy.
This evolution method is in keeping with how you must have a high friendship level with an Eevee, along with it knowing a fairy-type move, if you wish to evolve it into a Sylveon in the main-line series.
Don’t worry about Eevee evolving into Espeon or Umbreon instead, because, thanks to gamewith_pkgo from Twitter, we know Sylveon will appear as a separate evolution option, allowing you to pick the correct Eeveeultion.

You can also evolve a shiny or flower crown Eevee to earn yourself a shiny or flower crown Sylveon.
Eevee To Umbreon Or Espeon
To evolve into Umbreon or Espeon, keep an Eevee as a buddy and walk this Eevee for 10km. Once youve reached 10km, your Eevee should show one of two silhouettes in its Evolve button. If it is daylight hours, you should see an Espeon. If it is nighttime hours, you should see an Umbreon. If you evolve your Eevee during the day, youll get an Espeon, if you evolve at night, youll get an Umbreon.
This process will work as many times as you like. You could potentially evolve hundreds of Eevee into Umbreon if youre willing to walk every one of them 10km and evolve in the daytime.

How To Evolve Vaporeon Jolteon And Flareon In Pokmon Go

You can get Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon by using the name trick method or by using the Buddy Pokémon evolution method.
Evolving a random Eevee willl produce either Vaporeon, Jolteon or Flareon at random. You cant get any other Eevee evolution from pressing the Evolve button. It costs 25 Candy and it does not matter whether the naming trick has already been used or not.
Raichu Event Costumes In Pokmon Go
Just like Pikachu, there is a range of costume Raichu for you to collect in Pokémon Go.
You cant find these Raichu out in the wild though. Instead, youll need to evolve one of your costumed Pikachu. This means its always a good idea to catch at least of each costumed Pikachu if you plan on becoming a costume collector.
It costs 50 Pikachu candies to evolve a Pikachu into a Raichu.
Only Straw Hat, Party Hat and Mimikyu Pikachu are unable to evolve into Raichu.

As it is in the main series, an Eevee can allow any trainer to pick up a good Pokemon and, generally, evolve into an option that covers a typing weakness.
On the other hand, some trainers simply pick the most powerful Eevolution, but which one is most powerful? They all bring different things to the table, but here is a rough ranking of the eight possible evolutions.
How To Evolve Eevee Using The Name Trick
Each Eevee evolution can be evolved by renaming an Eevee to a specific name. However, once you use this it cannot be done again, so save this for an Eevee that you are sure you want to be whatever you name them in the list below. Once you rename it, just hit the evolve button and youll end up with the right evolution. And if its during Eevee Community Day then youll end up with the exclusive move listed in that guide.

How To Evolve Eevee Using Nicknames
A neat trick allows you to force a specific evolution when using the candy evolution method, and all you need to do is rename your Eevee to a particular nickname.
Simply rename your Eevee with the nickname below that corresponds with your desired evolution and voila, youll have your eeveelution of choice once you feed it 25 candy:

How To Get Sylveon In Pokemon Go
Sylveon, the most recent addition to the Eeveelutions, and the method to obtaining it is a bit tedious but totally worth it. Trainers can check out our Pokemon Go Sylveon guide for more in-depth details, but the gist to getting Sylveon is through the friendship meter in Pokemon Go.
Trainers need to make Eevee their buddy and earn 70 hearts with it. Again, this will take a while, but as long as trainers can maximize the amount of hearts earned each day they will eventually get to that mark. Trainers will know they received the right amount of hearts when the silhouette in the evolution area of Eevees in-game information screen shows Sylveon.

The story arc consists of 65 episodes, from Around the Whirlpool to Hoenn Alone!. This is the final story arc of the two original series of Generations I and II. Pokemon Go Eevee Community Day Perks
Aside from the usual increase in spawns and the higher rate of finding a Shiny, this weekends Pokemon Go Eevee Community Day event will give trainers even more perks. From Friday, August 13 at 1 p.m. EDT to Monday, August 16 at 1 p.m. EDT, when Eevee evolves into its many evolutions they will learn an exclusive move. Below are the Pokemon-exclusive moves that will be learned during Community Day:
- Vaporeon: Scald
- Sylveon: Psyshock
- Eevee caught or hatched during this time will know Last Resort.
Also, evolving Sylveon will be much easier during the two-day event. More information on Sylveons evolution method is below, but obtaining the Fairy-type will only require seven friendship hearts instead of the usual 70.

Which Is The Best Eevee Evolution In Pokmon Go Pokmon Go Eevee Evolutions Ranked In 2021
Its worth noting that each Eevee evolution has a different base stats, which makes it quite challenging to decide which is the strongest Eevee evolution Pokémon GO. However, heres detailed information about each character thatll help you choose the right Pokémon for a specific event.
Espeon is a psychic-type Pokeom with a maximum CP of 3170. Confusion and Psychic are its best move sets for all battles, especially if youre attacking Pokémon in the Gyms. This moveset will also help you during PvP battles. Espeon is vulnerable to Bug, Dark, and Ghost moves.
Flareon is a fire-type Pokémon that can achieve a maximum CP of 2029. Being a fire-type Pokémon, it supports a variety of moves such as Overheat, FireBlast, Flame Thrower, etc. But, its best moveset for Gym raids and PvP battles include Fire Spin and Overheat. The creature gets weakened against Ground, Water, and Rock moves.
Jolteon is an electric-type Pokémon that has Thunder Shock and Thunderbolt as its best move sets. The Pokémon can achieve a maximum CP of 28888 and may get defeated against all Ground moves.
Vaporeon is a water-type Pokémon. Water Gun and Hydro Pump are its best move sets to attack other Pokémon during Gym Raids. Although it supports several other Water moves like Water Pulse and Aqua Tail as well. Vaporeon can achieve a maximum CP of 3114 and feels vulnerable against the grass and electric moves.
How To Get Umbreon/evolve Eevee To Umbreon In Pokemon Go
Umbreon is one of the coolest evolutions of Eevee, introduced in the Johto region. It is a dark-type Pokemon, with Pokedex #197. It is known as the Moonlight Pokemon and has a beautiful dark body with rings depicting a full moon. In the core games, Umbreon served as an incredible tank with its high defense and special defense stats. One can easily get an Umbreon by evolving their Eevee at night in them.
However, the method to evolve Eevee into Umbreon in Pokemon Go is a bit different. There are two primary ways through which you can get an Umbreon in Pokemon Go. Both of them involve evolving your Eevee into an Umbreon. There isnt a way to catch a Wild Umbreon yet. You must find an Eevee and evolve it using special measures.
Im sharing both methods below. If you dont have an Umbreon yet, and it is your first time, then the first method will be the simplest and the best for you. But, if you already have an Umbreon in your party and want more, then youll have to use the second method.

Keep Plenty Of 3 Star Eevee To Evolve
Youll need to evolve Eevee during the Community Day event to get special moves that may not be available again, and theres some work involved to get the trickier evolutions.
Serious collectors will want to keep Eevee evolutions with the special Community Day moves, and also have a powerful evolution to teach the best attack and defensive moves listed on this page.
So plan ahead and dont throw away any 3 star Eevee until you know you have everything you need.
How Do You Evolve More Umbreon Or Espeon In Pokmon Go
If you’ve already used the nickname trick, and want to get another Umbreon or Espeon, these two Eeveelutions can also be controlled in Pokémon Go. If you just hit the Evolve button, you will get either Vaporeon, Flareon, or Jolteon completely at random. To get Umbreon or Espeon, you need to raise your Buddy Pokémon’s Friendship level:
You can swap out Eevee for another Buddy, but you’ll have to swap Eevee back to being your Buddy before you try to evolve Umbreon or Espeon.
