The Pokemon Master Journeys Part 2 release date on Netflix is confirmed to be coming up soon.
Pokemon Master Journeys Part 1 included Pokemon Journeys Episodes 49 through 60 in the overall series. Pokemon Master Journeys Part 2 will include episodes 13 through 24 .
Its also been confirmed that Netflix is keeping its exclusive rights for streaming Pokemon Master Journeys internationally. Otherwise, the episodes have been releasing months in advance on Japanese TV stations.
As Netflix users know, the streaming giant likes to set up international audiences for binge-watching rather than releasing episodes weekly. That means Pokemon Master Journeys will be split up into multiple seasons or parts.
More episodes will release in blocks of 12 episodes approximately every three months for the duration of the season according to the official website. The press release words it differently, stating that the initial release of 12 episodes followed by quarterly releases on Netflix for the duration of the season.
That should mean the Pokemon Master Journeys Part 2 release date will be in late December 2021. If not, itll likely be in early Winter 2022.

The initial release of Netflixs Pokemon Master Journeys includes 12 episodes which comes out on September 10, 2021. Netflix confirmed to Monsters and Critics via email that Pokemon Journeys ends with Episode 48.

Pokemon Journeys has carried on its adventures in Japan throughout the year, but fans in the United States have had to go without. After all, Netflix has kept the license close to its chest with few if any updates going live following the new years arrival. But now, Netflix and The Pokemon Company have broken the silence with an update for all you Pokemon fanatics.
As it turns out, Pokemon Journeys is returning to Netflix this year, and it will be found under a new name. This shake-up will welcome the next arc of Ashs adventures, so fans can expect Pokemon Master Journeys: The Series to debut later this fall.
The Pokemon Company International announced that the upcoming season of Pokemon Master Journeys: The Series will premiere Sept. 10, 2021, exclusively on Netflix in the U.S. This follows the exclusive launch of the previous season in 2020 on the streaming platform in the U.S, the companies press release reads.
Pokemon Master Journeys: The Series is the 24th season of the globally popular animated series and features the newest adventures of Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu. The latest season features approximately 42 episodes, with an initial release of 12 episodes followed by quarterly releases on Netflix for the duration of the season.
Pokemon Journeys: Story So Far
The last time we saw that Ash has been suffering from a serious losing streak and his confidence is down to the dumps. but maybe their journey will take them back to Alola.
After Gohs Tamatama is evolved into a Nassy, Ash tells him about Alolan Nassy and Goh becomes fired up with the idea of catching one. Ash returns to Alola with Goh and is reunited with his Alolan Pokemon and his Pokemon School friends .
Now Goh has to prove himself to Kaki as a suitable rival for Ash after Kaki challenges him. Its Gohs Rabbifuto against Kakis Bakugames in a battle in which Goh is introduced to Z-moves and a surprise ending!

Pokemon Master Journeys Episode 13 Story Summary
In the first 24 episodes of Pokémon Journeys: The Series, Ash and Goh became research assistants at the Cerise Laboratory in Vermilion City and found themselves traveling the Pokemon world studying and training Pokemon.
The two discovered the wonders of Gigantamax Pokemon, explored Galars Wild Area, and even found some common ground with Team Rocket. And while Ash continued his journey to become a Pokemon Master, Goh ccaught his first Pokemon and discovered that Pokemon battles can be fun.
Episodes 25 through 36 had Ash returning to the Kalos Region with Goh to compete in the Battle Festival. Goh witnessed Mega-Evolution for the first time. They also traveled to the Galar Region to see a World Coronation Series Match.
The biggest development was that Pikachu became jealous of Ash focusing on training Riolu and ran away! Obviously, Ashs bond with Pikachu is restored and strengthened, and Goh desires a Pikachu of his own.
Pikachu even refuses a Thunder Stone so he can evolve into a Raichu!
At the beginning of Part 4, Ash had been suffering from a serious losing streak, and his confidence was down in the dumps. But Ash was cheered up when his journey took him back to Alola, and his friends threw a party for him.
Their journey took them to many new exciting locations, with a long Sword and Shield story arc being a highlight. But the climax was when the legendary Clone Pokemon Mewtwo showed up and battled Ash and Goh!
Season 8 Episode 5 Gaining Groudon
While its second part may be more visually spectacular with the titular legends clashing, “Gaining Groudon” lays the groundwork for the Hoenn legendaries to face off;amazingly, given that the entire plot is crammed into two episodes. From the;cast’s capture by Team Magma to Pikachu’s possession by the Blue Orb and the reappearance of Lance, there’s a constant rise of tension that carries throughout the whole episode without any wasted space, leaving the audience clamoring for more. How Long Will Pokemon Journeys Continue
As previously noted, Netflix confirmed that Pokemon Journeys Episode 48 was the ending of the previous season. Each new Pokemon season tends to have around 50 episodes. For example, Pokemon XYZ had 47 episodes, while Pokemon Season 22 had 54 episodes.
But Pokemon Season 23 is highly unusual in that it was already confirmed to have 75 episodes in Japan before Netflix confirmed the episode count! The Pokemon Journeys Episode 75 release date in Japan is confirmed for July 30, 2021.
Now that we know that Pokemon Master Journeys starts with Episode 49, the plan is to continue releasing new episodes in blocks of 12.
The new Pokemon Season 24 will have approximately 42 episodes in total. That means this newest generation of anime episodes will have 90 episodes in total between the two parts.
Goh Vs Alolan Ninetales
We find out later that Pokémon hunters were trying to take this;Alolan;Ninetales;somewhere but their helicopter crashed in;Mt. Coronet. So now the;Alolan;Ninetales;is in a place where its at least some sort of familiar. Thats why once our heroes find;Alolan;Ninetales;its immediately aggressive towards them using ice beam before using Blizzard. The Blizzard is so strong that both of our heroes pass out in the ice;and;later wake up around a campfire.;
It seems that they were saved by;Tsurugi;who tells Goh that he is disqualified because if he didnt save;him;he and his Pokémon would have died. This is also where they learn why the;Alolan;Ninetales;was so aggressive towards them. Then after the Blizzard has passed over even though;Tsurugi;tells Goh to give up, Goh says that he still has time so hes;gonna;still try to capture this;Alolan;Ninetales;and help take it back to Mount Lanakila. After a bit of searching in a mountain that kind of looks like Mount Lanakila, they find it again. This time he brings out his;Cinderace;to fight him.;;

Pokemon Master Journeys Release Date In Japan In Summer 2021
As of the last update, OLM, Inc., or any company related to the production of the anime has not officially confirmed the exact Pokemon Master Journeys release date in Japan. The production of a Pokemon Season 24 sequel was announced by the official website on May 6, 2021.
But its possible the premiere would have been in 2021 regardless since Pokemon Journeys has been unusually long. Typically, since the 2010 Black & White, the Pokemon seasons have ranged between 43 to 54 episodes long.
Japanese Pokemon Journeys Episode 60 already released on March 19, 2021, and Pokemon Journeys Episode 75 is scheduled for July 30, 2021. That means there are now enough episodes for Netflixs Pokemon Journeys Part 6.
Since we dont know if Pokemon Journeys 75 is the ending, its currently uncertain when exactly Pokemon Season 24 Episode 1 will come out. Assuming Pokemon Journeys Episode 75 is the ending, Pokemon Master Journeys Episode 1 could come out on August 6, 2021.
But the announcement specifically says Summer 2021, which in the anime industry typically means July through September.
That could mean the first part could end Pokemon Journeys in late August 2021. If thats the case, the Pokemon Master Journeys release date could in September 2021, the last month of the Summer 2021 anime TV season.

Pokmon Journeys Season : Renewal Status
In Japan, all of the previously released episodes are part of season 1, with Netflix opting to make each part its own season.
At the time of writing, Pokémon Journeys has not been officially renewed for a second season in Japan.
The first season concludes in March in Japan, so its not unusual for producers/networks to wait until after a season finishes before announcing a renewal.
However, there are reports that season 2 of Pokémon Journeys is already in the works hopefully, we will get an official confirmation that the 24th season of Pokémon will be a sequel to Journeys.

The episode continues from the previous when Dawn;and Chloe;found an injured;Cresselia;in the forest.;;Cresselia;is not trusting them at the beginning. Dawn actually remembers meeting it on new moon island. Chloe remembers what her father told her about being bold and approaches;Cresselia, eventually gaining trust. Once they get that Dawn is able to heal it using techniques she learned from Brock. They talk a bit about their past and here thats where we see the flashbacks with Brock. And about Chloe making her decision on not evolving her Eevee.; She and Eevee are similar, they both really dont know what they want to be so theyre just out here exploring. Thats also the reason why shes going to Goh watch the contest. Dawn says that since she wants to do that that she should actually participate and shows her some of her routines. Chloe tries to do the same routine but fails. Regardless though they both fall asleep after healing;Cresselia;some more.;;
Darkrai and Cresselia
Season 13 Episode 31 Battling A Thaw In Relations
While Ash’s;match against Tobias’s Darkrai was nail-biting, it’s his;fight;against Paul that is the most meaningful during the Sinnoh league. Having fought with Paul in both battles and ideals throughout the season, Ash is desperate to show Paul that Pokémon aren’t just things to be used but creatures with minds of their own. There’s no better way to show that than defeating him with the Infernape Paul released as a Chimchar;for being too weak. Not only does this bring closure for Infernape, but it finally proves that Ash’s training methods really;are the better style.

Pokemon Journeys Part 6 On Netflix Us Is Pokemon Master Journeys Part 2

Although we know that Season 24 is called Pokemon Master Journeys, the question is whether Netflixs Pokemon Journeys is just continuing on with the Pokemon Master Journeys name change or will Pokemon 2021 restart the episode count with Pokemon Season 24 as part of Generation 8.
Just like the anime TV series has done in the past, the title for Pokemon Journeys 2021 was extended to include the new focus for the year. For example, the three seasons of Generation 7, Pokemon: Sun and Moon, were extended with the subtitles Ultra Adventures and Ultra Legends.
Netflix will not be giving up exclusive rights to international streaming for such a popular brand name. Assuming Part 6 continues Season 24, that means Netflixs Pokemon Master Journeys Part 2 will be the sequel.

Pokemon Master Journeys Anime Extends The Title Theme Of Pokemon Journeys: The Series
With over 1,000 episodes in total, Ash Ketchum has been on a long, long, long journey. This story has been divided up into generations that share a common theme. Ash Ketchum is usually the main protagonist, but often the series will switch up his friends.
Based on history, Pokemon Season 24 is part of Generation 8 of the overall series, and it is essentially being treated like Pokemon Journeys Season 2. As such, the title for Pokemon Journeys was extended to include the new focus for the year 2021.
For example, Pokemon Season 14 through 17 was Generation 5, and it was called Pokemon: Black and White. Season 15 extended the title with Rival Destinies and Season 16 added Adventures in Unova.
Similarly, Pokemon Season 17 through 19 was Generation 6, and it was called Pokemon: XY, while Season 19s title was extended Pokemon: XYZ).
Pokemon Season 20 through 22 was Generation 7, and it was called Pokemon: Sun and Moon, with the title being extended with Ultra Adventures and Ultra Legends.
Thus, it makes sense to call the direct sequel Pokemon Master Journeys considering how Ash is focused on his quest to become a Pokemon Master.
