Comparatively, the card market has a much larger selection of individual cards that you can buy, where Target and Walmart tend to sell mystery packs that only inform the buyer what kinds of cards and how many of each are in the pack.
Yu-Gi-Oh also has its own website through which you can buy their cards and brand related products such as card sleeves, game mats, portfolios, card cases, and more. Buying directly through the site can help ensure that you are more on top of new releases, however the site might also sell out of new releases faster than a brick and mortar store due to a wider reach in who is able to purchase online.
What Days Do Target Restock Yugioh Cards
Since most Walmarts have suspended their release of Yu-Gi-Oh cards, Target may be your best option apart from buying cards online.

The primary issues facing Target and Panini/Topps are a good thing. Its bad when nobody is interested in the product. Thats clearly not the case. Its a good thing that everyone wants to be part of collecting trading cards again.
But, of course, its bad that there was an argument that resulted in a gun being brandished no shots fired, thankfully and its bad that a few distributor reps had tracking devices placed on their cars so flippers knew which store they were headed to next. Yes, Kazmierczak said, that really happened. Once in the Midwest region and once in the Northeast. And it sucks that retail employees have had to deal with aggressive flippers and irritated customers. They absolutely dont deserve that.
These things are not good. But theyre all fixable problems.
The industry is in a great place. The challenge right now is that the demand is so far ahead of the supply, and theres no way we can get the supply anywhere near it, Kazmierczak said. No matter what we do, the pricing is going to be out of whack. I know many people dont understand that, but thats just the simple reality of where things are at. I like a hot market, but I would certainly welcome a little more balance.
You cant just think short-term, Kazmierczak said. You have to also think long-term because you have that contract for extended years, and if you screw the marketplace up, youre going to wallow in it.

Target stopped selling the trading cards in store after a fight broke out among customers.
Four men aged between 23 and 35 physically assaulted a 35-year-old man in a Target parking lot in a dispute over the cards, resulting in the victim suffering minor injuries. The disagreement ended when the victim, who has a concealed carry weapons license, accessed his gun and the suspects fled, though no shots were fired.
In a statement, Target said that it would “temporarily suspend the sale of MLB, NFL, NBA, and Pokémon trading cards within our stores,” but would still sell them online. A Target spokesperson said: “The safety of our guests and our team is our top priority.”
