Grunts using this taunt will use the Poliwag evolution line, as well as other dual water/ground types. We suggest using Grass or Electric type counters like Alolan Exeggutor, Sceptile, Leafeon, Tangrowth, Raikou, Magnizon, Electivire, Jolteon, or Zapdos. There is potential for counter moves from Go Rocket Pokémon with access to ground and ice type attacks. Venusaur and Roserade are good options against Poliwraths Fighting moves.

The other format for the Pokémon this grunt may have is either triple Magikarp, which any Roserade, or other strong grass type will make quick work of, or two Magikarp followed by a Gyarados. In case you encounter a Gyarados, bring out your Electric Pokemon, as it has potential to access ice type moves that will make quick work of your grass types.

Armored Mewtwo Weaknesses And Counters

Despite its appearance, Armored Mewtwo is still a pure Psychic type, which means its vulnerable to the same kinds of Pokemon as a regular Mewtwo. Ghost, Bug, and Dark types in particular have an advantage over it in battle, so youll want to fill your team with Pokemon of those types before heading into the Raid.

Your best choices when facing Armored Mewtwo will be other Legendary Pokemon such as Darkrai and Origin Forme Giratina. Hydregion, Weavile, and Gengar can all dish out super-effective damage against Armored Mewtwo as well. However, Gengar will take super-effective damage in return due to its Poison typing, so it may not last very long. Scizor is another solid choice it can deal super-effective damage with Bug moves, while its Steel typing will help insulate it from Mewtwos Psychic attacks.

How To Beat And Catch Azelf In Pokemon Go

A key piece of information to keep in mind is that all three of these legendary Pokemon are Psychic-type Pokemon. Psychic Pokemon are weak to Ghost, Dark, and Bug-type Pokemon. So to beat them remember to make your team with the Pokemon covering the above types.

Another thing to remember is that these legendary Pokemon have a high attack stat and low defense stat. If you happen to lack Ghost, Dark, and Bug-type pokemon on your team. You can make up for it by having legendary or pseudo legendary Pokemon. Or you can also add pokemon with good attack and defense stats on your team.

Our type chart presents the 18 Pokémon types in attack and defence scenarios. To use it, simply find your Pokémons type to see what its attacks are strong and weak against, and what it is resistant and vulnerable to when defending.

• Types bolded in square brackets are subject to a further cut in effectiveness in the mainline games these are outright immunities
• If a type is not listed, damage is neutral
• The strength of an attack is increased if the attack type is strong against both types of a dual type Pokémon
• Type resistance and vulnerability effectively cancel each other out on dual type Pokémon

Note that attack and defence type relationships are not identical e.g. types may be resistant to types when defending that they are not super effective against when attacking.

Remember, things get even more interesting when Pokémon of dual types crop up and you have to factor in additional strengths and weaknesses.

Palkia Best Counters And Weaknesses

Palkias water- and dragon-typing give it only two weaknesses: dragon and fairy-types. Use any of these Palkia best counters and weaknesses to take it down:

• Rayquaza with Dragon Tail and Outrage
• Salamence with Dragon Tail and Outrage
• Dragonite with Dragon Tail and Outrage or Draco Meteor
• Gardevoir with Charm and Dazzling Gleam

Palkia is tricky because if the one youre raiding against has Draco Meteor, your dragon-types will die quickly. Pay attention to the recommended team that the game gives you. If you see fairy- and steel-types in your recommended party, consider putting the bulk of your dragons on the bench this time.

Remember that Cloudy weather boosts fairy-type moves and windy weather boosts dragon-type moves.
