To challenge the rocket boss, you need a rocket radar. You get this when you have collected a total of 6 mysterious components. You can then combine these to form a radar and search for Sierra.
Since the change in October, Sierra has been fighting with completely different Pokémon.
How to beat Sierra: The best counterattacks
Which Pokémon does Sierra use? The rocket boss fights with 7 different monsters. Your team looks like this:
- First Pokémon: Traumato
- Second Pokémon: Kokowei, Tohaido or Lapras
- Third Pokémon: Tengulist, Hundemon or Simsala
So Sierra always sends Tramato into battle as the first Pokémon. With a bit of luck you can catch this as Shiny after the fight.
The best counterattacks against trauma: The types beetle, ghost and dark are effective against this. Good attackers are:
- Despotar with a bite and a grinder
- Scherox with anger blade and cross scissors
- Genesect with anger blade and cross scissors
We particularly recommend a Beetle Pokémon here. You can use this again in the course of the fight, as it is also useful against Tengulist or Kokowei. In addition, Scherox or Genesect have fast loading attacks that destroy the shields directly.
The best counterattacks against Lapras: The Pokémon is susceptible to the types of combat, electro, plant and rock. The best attackers are:
- Melmetal with shock of thunder and hail of stones
- Machomy with counterattack and powerful blow
- Lucario with counterattack and staggering stroke
Sierras Pokmon Lineup And Counters
Sierras first Pokémon will either be a Lapras if you challenge her via a Balloon encounter, or Beldum through a Pokestop.
- Beldum will only have two normal moves, and is naturally weak to Dark, Fire, Ghost, and Ground moves.
- Lapras will stick to Water and Ice moves, plus Skull Bash as a normal type charge. A few of its moves deal less damage to Dragon types, others to Steel, but itself is weak to Electric and Grass Types
- The best counter to Beldum would be a Fire or Dark type like Blaziken with Fire Spin and Blaze Kick, or a Darkrai with Snarl and Dark Pulse. For Lapras, focus on exploiting its weakness with either a strong grass type like Roserade, or Electric type such as Zapdos.

How To Catch Regigigas In Pokemon Go
Normally, since Regigigas is a Normal-type Pokemon, it can be found in residential areas, like parking lots and college campuses. However, since Regigigas is Legendary, it can only be found after defeating it in a Raid Battle. It is a level 5 Raid Battle, making Regigigas quite the catch if youre able to get one. It will require a lot of players with good teams to defeat Regigigas.

Pokmon Go: How To Get Regigigas
New things are coming to Pokémon Go, and one of them is the introduction of Regigiggas. Its a massive creature, a Normal-type, and its the big boss of Regirock, Regice, and Registeel. Its going to get featured in a particular research quest called A Colossal Discovery. There are two methods for locating Regigigas. You can wait until the event comes out in early November, or you can purchase a special ticket using real money to get the chance to go after it earlier.
When Will Regigigas Stop Appearing In Pokmon Go Five
The solstice event is running for a limited time only, so start searching as soon as you can. Regigigas is available until Thursday 1st July at 10am local time. So wherever you are in the world, youll want to catch one of these before that deadline.

The Regigigas event will then take place on Saturday, the , from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm in your local time .
However, the big difference of this event in relation to the others is due to the fact that you need a ticket which you can already buy at the online store giving you the opportunity to find Regigigas before it reaches the Raids at the end of November .
The same will cost 8.99 euros and youll have to go to the game store to get it. You can participate in the event wherever you are and you do not have to complete the challenge automatically although we advise you to do it until the 4th of November, as the Regi Trio will no longer be available in Raids and capturing them is a requirement to complete the challenges.

- You can pay around 8 euros for a ticket and find Regigigas before their launch in Raids
- You will have exclusive missions, a guaranteed Regigigas, an exclusive medal and avatar pose, x1 Unova Stone and x1 Sinnoh Stone

- The Team Go Rocket leaders use Protect Shields, unlike standard Grunts. So, your first Pokemon should ideally be one having a fast move with low energy requirement. This will ensure that they will exhaust their shields quickly, and you can safely attack with your Charge moves of higher energy.
- If you are not able to beat the leaders in the first go, your Rocket Radar will remain intact, and the balloon will continue hovering over you. You can revive your Pokemons, and try again until you win. The team composition and movesets wont chanhge, therefore it might be easier for you to counter them this time.
- The Go Rocket Leaders or any NPC in game including Team Leaders and Grunts will stop attacking for short intervals in some situation. These pauses are quite viable, for you can overcharge your Charged move, to use on the next Pokemon. This not only saves shields, but also your HP by preventing them from attacking. These are-
- After any shield is used
- After any Charged attack is used
- After switching of any Pokemon

Pokémon GOs first ticketed event has now come and gone and it was…kind of odd. I dont see what Id call overwhelming enthusiasm for the project, and the upshot of the whole thing seemed to be less paying $8 for a cool new experience and more paying $8 for a gated Pokemon. The event itself was something like a Raid Day, which is a tad ironic because Id bet I wind up spending more than $8 per Raid Day on raid passes alone. Regardless, its over, and Regigigas is in the game. It sure is a weird-looking Pokemon.
There are now two ways to get Regigigas in Pokémon GO The first is if you bought a ticket for the event but didnt complete the special research, which means you just need to finish the thing out. Right now it says that you still need to catch one a Regirock, Registeel or Regice to advance the quest, but I wonder if this will change when Raids turn over.
Update: The Regis are gone, and Ive got some new special research tasks with more generic goals.
The second will be what we can call the free-to-play solution, though like all such solutions is easier if you, you know, pay money. But Regigigas is going to become the new EX Raid Pokemon, so we assume that youre going to have a full year to catch the thing by getting invites to special raids and then, if tradition holds, youll have a bit to catch it out of standard raids in early fall next year. So if you missed it this time around, have heart.

And beware, Regigigas strongest moves are Hidden Power and Giga Impact youll want to watch out for those, and make sure the creatures you send into battle have a high CP.
Regigigas is also resistant to Ghost Pokémon, so dont bring those into battle. However, Psychic Pokémon can be used as a back-up in battle, with Pokémon such as Mewtwo being strong choices if you dont have any good Fighting-types.

The problem? The game didnt advertise this in any way! This matters in a game that requires real-world planning. It was only as the event was going on that people were able to figure out what had happened, but this meant that nobody was able to actually make plans based on this. If we had known this ahead of time, I might have contacted a friend and we could have completed the research together, but without advance information I had no reason to assume that this would be possible, and I didnt feel like coordinating with a larger group.
With a little tweaking I think these events can work, but they need to be more explicit about how theyre going to work. I expect a lot less enthusiasm for the next one, however.
How To Beat Sierra In Pokmon Go
Sierra is one of the three Team Rocket leaders in the January events of Pokémon Go that you have to defeat in order to gain access to Giovanni.
Under the normal set of circumstances, Sierra and other Team Rocket leaders wouldve their rosters swapped for something new, but thats on hold for now due to Covid-19, making the 2021 Team Rocket events also being on hold. Maybe sometime in February, we can witness a new roaster but for now, Sierra has the same roster as 2020.Sierra will use a total of 3 Pokémons against you and how you can defeat them is explained below:
First Pokémon
The first Pokémon shes gonna use against you is a Drowzee, the Psychic-type Pokémon. Dark, Bug and Ghost-type Pokémons will be the most effective against it including Hydreigon, Weavile, Chandelure, Mega Houndoom, Bisharp, Mewtwo, Houndoom, Darkrai, Origin Giratina, and Tyranitar etc. You can easily defeat the first Pokémon with one of the above-mentioned types.
Second Pokémon
The second Pokémon shes gonna through your way will be one of the following three:
- Lapras: Water and Ice-type
- Exeggutor: Grass and Psychic-type
- Sharpedo: Water and Dark-type
Whichever one she deploys, youll have to make sure that your Pokémon gets a few effective hits and for that, we recommend throwing a fresh Pokémon in the battle. Using a Fighting-type Pokémon, i.e. Machamp, Hariyama, Heracross, or a Conkeldurr, etc, might prove very decisive.
