Pokemon Go: Everything You Need To Know About Roselia Community Day

Testing NEW Community Day ROSERADE in Ultra Premier! Gengar, Machamp | Pokemon GO Battle League PVP

Pokemon Go‘s latest Community Day is here! This time around, it features the Grass/Poison-type Pokemon Roselia. More specifically, the new Community Day kicks off today, February 7th, at 11 AM local time and gives players the chance to encounter the aforementioned Roselia. Roselia may not be a particularly popular Pokemon, but its evolved form Roserade is the strongest non-Legendary Grass-type Pokemon currently in Pokemon Go. This means that the Community Day is a can’t-miss event, especially as it comes with the chance to grab a Roserade with a pair of unique moves.

Here’s everything you need to know about this weekend’s Community Day:

Pokemon Go February Roselia Community Day: Start/end Times Date Research Moves Budew And Shiny

Pokemon GO

It will a bit of a snowy Pokemon GO Community Day here in Philadelphia, but the Pokemon, at least, is a bit of a promise of better days to come. February may still be solidly winter, but the featured Pokemon has a distinctly spring-like air to it: the flowery Roselia, a charming little creature that packs a deceptive punch once it evolves. Heres what you need to know, from start/end times to research, moves, shiny, Budew and Sinnoh Stones.

Start/End Times: I do wonder if Niantic will ever reduce this back to three hours, but for now the pandemic isnt going anywhere, and were still on the extended hours. Its on Sunday, February 7, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time.

The Pokemon: Roselia is a fun little critter, but as usual, the evolution steals the show. Roserade might not look it, but its a beast: a strong Grass-type attacker and a great choice for raids and team Rocket battles. Use it to annihilate Water, Ground and Rock-type Pokemon in no time, and grab some of the candies from this event to round it out with extra moves, higher CP and all that good stuff.

Research: The event special research Stop and Smell the Roselia! is currently available in the shop for $1 or the local equivalent. Well know more about the steps and rewards once Community Day goes live in New Zealand and people have a chance to check it out. There will also be some timed research for those that choose not to buy.

There will also be timed research providing Sinnoh stones.

Best Moveset For Roserade In Pokemon Go

Roserade has been a welcome introduction to Pokemon GO since Roselia was a catchable Pokemon back in 2017 with the rest of Hoenn Pokemon. With Roselia’s evolution finally in the game, players can finally evolve their Roselia and use it in Pokemon GO’s competitive PvP League as well as various raid battles.

Many players may remember Roserade from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl for the Nintendo DS, in which Roserade was introduced and used as the ace of the second gym leader, Gardenia’s team.

  • How To Find Roserade In Pokmon Go

    Make

Roserade, the classic rose pokémon, and its evolutions can be found in several places within the world through the lens of Pokémon Go.

Roserade is at the top of the evolutionary chain of the rose pokémon and can be found and/or caught in several situations in Pokémon GO. As the top evolution, Roserade has two earlier evolutions named Budew and Roselia. For players dedicated to getting this beautiful grass and poison pokémon, here are all the different ways to get one.

Unfortunately for many players, Roserade and any pokémon that is at the top of their evolutionary chain tend to be harder to find out in the world. It is usually much easier for players to find one or both of the earlier evolutions and evolve them until reaching the top evolution. Due to this, most of these ways to get a Roserade will use the evolutionary chain.

Bullet Seed* Or Poison Jab Or Razor Leaf + Weather Ball Fire* And Grass Knot Or Sludge Bomb

Bullet Seed features high energy generation and poor damage output, making it more preferable for utilizing Roserade’s charge moves and applying shield pressure. Razor Leaf is the polar opposite, emphasizing high damage output with STAB at the cost of having the worst energy gains. Poison Jab offers a balance in the middle in terms of both damage output and energy generation, in addition to its Poison-type coverage.

Weather Ball Fire is a move limited to Elite TMs and specific events like Community Day, but is highly recommended due to its low energy cost and efficient Damage Per Energy . Grass Knot and Sludge Bomb require the same 50 energy and deal respectable STAB damage, and either can be chosen depending on the coverage needed. Leaf Storm costs slightly more energy, and is considered a higher risk vs reward play. Dazzling Gleam and Solar Beam demand way too much energy to use consistently.

Shiny Roselia Pokemon Go Best Moveset

Evolving Roselia into Roserade on Community Day will grant the Pokemon access to a special charged move, Weather Ball . This is now, theoretically, one of the moves you should employ for Roserade as it gives the Pokemon coverage against Ice-type Pokemon, which are super effective against it. For optimum use, Weather Ball should be employed alongside the Bullet Seed fast move and Grass Knot charged move. However, Poison Jab is also an effective fast move and Sludge Bomb could replace Grass Knot.

Genshin Impact Still Refuses To Increase Anniversary Rewards Despite Fan Outcry

Shiny: Youre looking, appropriately enough, at the roses here. The shiny features a striking pair of purple and deep black flowers, and its basically the same when you evolve it to Roserade, with most of the coloring staying intact save the shift on the roses.

The Moves: See the s there? Not a typo! Two moves this time around: the fast attack bullet seed and the Fire-type charged attack Weather Ball. The second is the more interesting one: a coverage move, probably best paired with a traditional Grass-type move to make sure you can still use Roserade as a powerful pure Grass-type.

The Bonus: Pretty straightforward here: 1/4 hatch distance for eggs placed into incubators during the event. A solid bonus, but always an expensive one if you want to take full advantage of it. Weve also got the standard 3-hour incense.

Pokemon Go: Popular And Powerful Ultra League Teams

Due to Pokemon and Pokemon GO’s nature when it comes to combat, there really aren’t any “perfect” teams in a fight. However, there are plenty of solid picks that can help players go on a run for a win streak.

With August fast approaching, these are the current top Pokemon picks, according to data provided by PvPoke:

  • XL Registeel
  • Articuno
  • XL Perrserker
  • Some popular and efficient Pokemon GO teams for Ultra League include :

These teams are by no means perfect or guaranteed a win streak, but they can be somewhat helpful when it comes to pushing back against the meta. Additionally, August may significantly change Pokemon GO’s Battle League meta.

    Only time will tell.

A Pvp Analysis On Community Day Roserade

With apologies to the artist Seal….

Baby! I compare you to a kiss from a rose on Community Day

Ooh, the more I get of you, the shinier it feels, yeah!

Now that Roserade is in bloom

Weather Ball lights the room on Community Day….

Hello again, fellow travelers and PvPers! As I’ve done many times before , I want to take a close look at this month’s Community Day spotlight Pokémon and examine its merits in PvP. And for the first time, this month’s featured ‘mon will receive TWO exclusive moves at once! Let’s not waste any more time, as Community Day is now mere hours away. Made it by thaaaaaaaat much. Let’s dive in to our analysis on Roserade!

    Attack: 145

    Defense: 110

    HP: 97

    ULTRA LEAGUE:

    Attack: 184

    Defense: 147

    HP: 123

    MASTER LEAGUE:

    Attack: 204

    Defense: 158

    HP: 134

The best defense is a good offense? Roserade certainly hopes so. While not quite as extreme as, say, Haunter , anything with less than 100 HP in Great League clearly belongs in the “glass cannon” category.

Good thing then that Grass/Poison is a decent defensive type combination. Yes, you still have to watch out for Flyers and Fires and Ices, and the Poison side is also weak to Psychic damage, but you get resistances to Water, Electric, Fairy, Fighting, and 2x to Grass.

But anyway, let’s get to the part you’re really here for: the new moves.

    – Exclusive Move

    Fast Moves:

    Bullet Seed

    Poison Jab

    Razor Leaf

    Charge Moves:

    Weather Ball

    Sludge Bomb

    Grass Knot

    Dazzling Gleam

    Solar Beam

Pokmon Go: Best Movesets August 2021

While it may seem like Combat Power or stats are the most important factors in Pokémon Go, movesets play a critical role as well. Movesets are the combination of the fast attack and charged attack your Pokémon uses in battles.

The wonderful, terrible thing about movesets is that they’re usually determined at random. The good news is that, with Technical Machines and Elite TMs, you change your old, terrible moves. But how do you know which movesets will help your Pokémon win at PvP Trainer Battles and decimate Gyms and Raids and which will make a fight simply unwinnable? Here’s the newly updated list! And be sure to check out our best Pokémon Go accessories to take your game to the next level!

What If You Don’t Have The Best Movesets In Pokmon Go

Since the introduction of the Raid Battle system in June 2017, you can get Technical Machines to change your movesets. Two of the possible rewards for beating Raid Bosses are Quick TM and Fast TM, which can be used to change Quick Moves and Charge Moves respectively. Regular TMs are completely random and cannot access Legacy Moves.

Legacy Moves are special moves that were once available for a Pokémon but are no longer. Sometimes they were removed when Niantic re-balanced the game. Some were only available on Community Day or in special Raids. Either way, if a Legacy Move happens to be the best possible move for a Pokémon and you don’t have it, you cannot get it with a normal TM. Before you use a TM on any Pokémon, you should always check to see if the move you’re changing is a Legacy Move and if that move is worth having. A lot of Legacy Moves don’t perform well, but some of them are the best moves in the game.

More recently, Niantic introduced Elite TMs. These TMs are rare, and often difficult to get or expensive, but allow you to choose from any move a Pokémon can have, including Legacy Moves. They aren’t random either. You get to choose the move. Because of how hard it is to get Elite TMs, you’ll want to save them for your very best Pokémon, but hey, now you can have a Mewtwo with Shadow Ball and Psystrike!

Roserade’s Best Movesets In Pokemon Go

The first thing to know when building a moveset for a Pokemon in Pokemon GO is its typing. Roserade is a Grass and Poison type. This means that Roserade is weak to Fire-, Flying-, Ice- and Psychic-type attacks. However, Roserade has a lot more resistances, making it a viable choice to wall off certain Pokemon, or it can be a good Pokemon to switch in for when using another Pokemon against one it is weak to. Roserade takes less damage from Fighting-, Electric-, Water-, Fairy- and other Grass-type attacks.

Roserade has access to a lot of fast-type attacks it can choose from. Poison Jab is a very good option for an offensive build as it provides a great balance between damage per second as well as energy generated with every attack. Razor Leaf is the attack that deals the most damage. However, this attack does not generate a lot of energy, which can put the player in a disadvantageous position if the opponent can generate more and use more charged attacks.

Roserade also has a fast attack exclusive to the elite TM. Bullet Seed deals the least amount of damage but generates the most amount of energy. This can be a great option for builds that revolve around constantly using charged attacks to wear down stronger opponents and waste their shields.

    Pve Defensive Moves Explanation

    • Razor Leaf is stronger than Poison Jab, but also more widely resisted.

    • Bullet Seed has the worst damage output on defense.

    • Sludge Bomb combines power, an early damage window, and 2 bars.

    • Grass Knot is an okay choice but offers no coverage.

    • Dazzling Gleam has passable neutral coverage, but its easy to dodge.

    • Roserades durability is too poor to warrant using Leaf Storm or Solar Beam.

    • Weather Ball Fire can be used frequently as a 3-bar move, and hurts Ice-type attackers.

How Do I Make The Most Of This Community Day

During the event, any eggs put into Incubators will have their hatch distance lowered to 14 the usual amount. Make sure to hatch any of the long distance eggs you have.

Once you get your Roserade, set it up with Razor Leaf and Grass Knot to have a hard hitting grass-type. Its definitely worth to hoard a couple of these to make a strong team.

If youre deciding which Shiny Roselia to evolve at the end of the day, try using one of the new search strings. Sort your mons by recent using the lower right icon, and then type 4* in the search box at the top. This will let you know if you have any 100% IV Roselia. Most people wont be so lucky, so next youll want to type 3* in the search box, which will show you any recent mons that are 80% or above. Appraise these to see which one is best, and then evolve your new buddy!
