Best Team To Beat Cliff In Pokemon Go
One of the best and easily accessible lineups to defeat Cliff in Pokemon Go would be Togekiss, Magnezone, and Mamoswine .

The addition of Rock Throw from the July 2019 move rebalance improves Aerodactyl’s damage output as it’s the only option that benefits from STAB. Bite is a very niche way to deal with the popular bulky Psychic and Ghost-types like Cresselia or Giratina, but this shouldn’t be Aerodactyl’s primary role.
Rock Slide is the best charge move for Aerodactyl, gets STAB, costs less energy compared to other options, and sees the most frequent use by a long shot. Earth Power can be used to cover Aerodactyl’s vulnerabilities against Electric, Rock, and Steel-type foes, but costs more energy. The rest of Aerodactyl’s charge moves are disappointingly bad.

What About Types In Pokmon Go
It’s also important to keep in mind types! While some Pokémon only have one type, most have two and all Pokémon can learn moves from multiple types. Although most Pokémon have a single moveset that is the best for their whole species, there are some Pokémon who have multiple sets. Both of Mewtwos quick moves have their merits, but Confusion is generally better. Psycho Cut generates more energy than Confusion, but the difference is negligible compared to the damage difference. Confusion has a base 20 power, which far outclasses Psycho Cuts 5 power.
In terms of charge moves, every Mewtwo should have a STAB Psychic move, and a choice coverage move. For the Psychic move, Psystrike is slightly better than Psychic, but both are acceptable.
Both of these moves only require half of the energy bar to use, and have 90 base power. The only real difference between the moves is that Psystrikes animation ends a tad bit quicker, therefore resulting in higher DPS. Of course, Elite TMs can be scarce, and other Pokemon may need them more. Its not always necessary to waste the Elite TM on Mewtwo, then, who works fine with Psychic.
Mewtwo then gets to pick from a handful of great coverage moves. From a pure damage standpoint, however, Shadow Ball is the preferred pick. This move has slightly higher DPS than other options like Flamethrower, Ice Beam and Thunderbolt.

Since the introduction of the Raid Battle system in June 2017, you can get Technical Machines to change your movesets. Two of the possible rewards for beating Raid Bosses are Quick TM and Fast TM, which can be used to change Quick Moves and Charge Moves respectively. Regular TMs are completely random and cannot access Legacy Moves.
Legacy Moves are special moves that were once available for a Pokémon but are no longer. Sometimes they were removed when Niantic re-balanced the game. Some were only available on Community Day or in special Raids. Either way, if a Legacy Move happens to be the best possible move for a Pokémon and you don’t have it, you cannot get it with a normal TM. Is Aerodactyl Good In Pokemon Go
While Aerodactyl is strictly a situational option in Pokemon Sword and Shield, Aerodactyl is much better in Pokemon GO. The Pokemon was top tier in the 2020 Flying Cup and Kanto Cup events and is a decent option in raids, PVP battling, and for fighting against GO Rocket NPCs.
It doesnt have the high CP ceiling of legendaries like Mewtwo and Xerneas, pseudo legendaries like Dragonite and Metagross, or even mythical Pokemon like Victini or Celebi, but it matches or exceeds most fully evolved starter Pokemon. It has strong quick move options in Bite, Rock Throw, and Steel Wing, along with a variety of charge moves. It doesnt currently have any flying moves available to it, but it has enough variety there to make use of regardless.
