To be honest with you, most Pokemon code cards dont have a whole lot of value anyway. While they may sometimes creep up in value, it is rare.
You have to remember that the entire Pokemon card game has been built around the standard format. While expanded formats exist, the main goal has been to create a format that works for a few expansions and moves on.
This means that the older cards never hold a huge amount of value since there arent any major tournaments built around them.

There are two ways to enter your Pokemon online codes in the game and via the pokemon.com website.
If you are redeeming your codes in the game, launch the game and go to Shopping Cart menu. Click on the item that reads Redeem Codes. You can physically type in the code into the input bar or use the QR scanner, if you have one, to read it.
If you are redeeming your codes via the pokemon.com website, log into your account, click the Play button at the top of the screen and then select the Redeem Pokemon Trading Card Game Online codes section.
