What Are Mega Pokmon

Pokémon permanently evolve 0-2 times depending on their species, but some lucky combatants can also access a temporary “mega” form. These powerful transformations are triggered by holding the appropriate type of mega stone. Mega Pokémon often gain new types, abilities, and increased stats, making them daunting warriors, and trainers can only use one per battle.Mega Pokémon can’t use Z-moves since their held item slot is already accounted for, but they’re likely the strongest member of your team. Yet with dozens of tournament-legal transformations available, which reign supreme? These are the 10 strongest non-legendary mega evolutions in Pokémon!

Mega Sceptile

Top 15 Strongest Non Legendary Pokemon

1. Dragonite

Dragonite is a character from the Pokémon franchise by Nintendo. It is a dragon and flying type Pokémon created in the first generation of Pokémon. It is a Pseudo Legendary Pokémon.

2. Garchomp

First of all it has one of the best STAB combinations in the game. Add to that great attack and speed. Add on that it learns swords dance which doubles its attack. After just 2 swords dances it can destroy nearly the whole game.M+155

This Pokemon can really kill. To make a garchomp killer, get a gible with an adamant or jolly nature. Adamant gives your garchomp a very high attack Stat, while jolly gives it a very high speed Stat. My Garchomp has a sassy nature, but I am planning to give it a muscle band.

Hope you enjoy this Epic Pokemon.

3. Tyranitar

One of my favorite Pokemon. He is very reliable in battle and has great attack. It may take a while to evolve from a Larvitar, but it is definitely worth the wait.

4. Charizard

Charizard, known in Japan as Lizardon, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak’s Pokémon franchise.Charizard is one pokemon that can get you to the top of the leagues.

Really good because it can viably use both physical and special attacks, add on great speed and not bad defensive stats and a great move pool adds up to a terrifying beast.M+90

What Are The Best Dragons In Pokmon

Dragons were arguably the strongest Pokémon for several generations, weak only against themselves and Ice attacks. The Fairy type later helped balance them, but they still resist more elements than they’re weak to.

Dragons are rare and often don’t evolve until later levels, but compensate with dominating stats that hold their own even against legendary opponents. But with dozens of beasts available, which titans reign supreme? These are the ten strongest non-legendary Dragons in Pokémon!

Flygon

Strongest Non Legendary Pokmon Ferrothorn

My Favorite Non

This Pokémon is one of the most amazing Steel/Grass tanky Pokémon youll ever come across in the Pokémon series. It has amazing abilities like Leech Seeding and Power Whipping that can destroy its opponent completely. This Pokémon was originally revealed in the Pokémon Sword and Shield. Apart from being a tanky powerhouse, this Pokémon has to worry about the Mystic Fire.

After his weakness, it became public to every Pokémon. Every single Pokémon who was never able to trouble his super-strong skin now can burn him into cinders. Apart from all this, this is one of the strongest non-legendary Pokémon in the whole Pokémon franchise.

Look out for Pokémon in your box that know legacy moves these are moves that can only be accessed in certain events or with a rare Elite TM.

Wailord: Size Is Everything

If you’re weighing in at a hefty 877.4 lbs, as Wailord would be, it couldn’t hurt when going up against Arceus. Resistant to steel, fire, water, and ice, it narrows the options for Arceus somewhat when it comes to attacks.

With Wailord boasting the highest base HP of all Water-type Pokémon, it might be a drawn-out, attritional affair akin to a Homer Simpson boxing match, but Wailord would get the job done in the end, if only because Arceus has more important things to do, like create Pokémon universes.

Duraludon: The Durable Dinosaur

Duraludon is one of those Pokémon that could be mistaken for a legendary. It wouldn’t look out of place alongside Dialga, Palkia, and Arceus itself, looking somewhat related to the legendary universe custodians.

RELATED: Pokémon: The 10 Types With The Most Resistances

Looks aside, Duraludon is a steel-type, and so would have very few weaknesses against Arceus’s attacks. The name itself implies this Pokémon can endure anything. While it is not known to evolve, Duraludon does have a Gigantamax form, which it will need against Arceus if it is to be victorious.

Best Grass Type: Venusaur

TOP 5 NON LEGENDARY POKEMON WORTH POWERING UP IN POKEMON GO
  • Weaknesses: Fire, Flying, Ice, Psychic
  • Resistances: Fighting, Water, Electric, Fairy, Grass
  • Moveset: Vine Whip, Frenzy Plant

Venusaur is a Grass-type that is often neglected because its a tad bit slower than the other Grass-types. However, with its balanced stats, it proves to be even better than the two other Kanto starters, who see more preference. Venusaurs typing provides a decent coverage as well as double resistance to Grass types. It might not be the best attacker or defender known, but overall, it proves to be the most reliable Grass-type currently available in Pokemon Go.

The addition of Venusaurs Community Day move Frenzy Plant has spiked up its place in the meta. With a praiseworthy defence, it can easily take hits in PvP, while dealing a good amount of damage to its opponents. Venusaur can perform remarkably well even in neutral match-ups, with its high energy generating Fast move Vine Whip. It beats Meganium, Sceptile and Victreebel, as well as other popular choices with ease. Razor Leaf is another great alternative, for it deals offensive damage. However, its low energy generation makes it somewhat less useful. Venusaur however fails to charm the players with its considerable low stats in the Master League. With a max CP of only 2720, it can only do as much. It can still be get you a close win, with one shiled remaiing, and the opponents shields down.

What About Secondary Charge Moves In Pokmon Go

With PvP Trainer Battles, Niantic also introduced secondary Charge Moves. You can buy them with Stardust and Candy, and TM them to whatever it is you need. So, what do you need? Typically, variety. If the best Charge Move is a full bar, get a secondary that’s multi-bar. If there are two possible types for the Charged move, get both. For example, a Mewtwo with Shadow Ball or Psystrike is incredible, but one with both? Gamebreaker! However, adding a second Charge Move is expensive so make sure there is a good secondary move before spending on this upgrade.

Best Dragon Type: Garchomp

  • Resistances: Rock, Poison, Fire, Electric
  • Moveset: Dragon Tail, Outrage

One of the most feared yet the most sought Pokemon, Garchomp is an absolute beast. The dual Dragon and Ground-typing allows it coverage against a number of other types, and the humungous HP of 239 makes it a tanky beast. Its typing makes it super effective against 5 types , and is resisted by only 2 types- Dragon and fairy. Its typing, its movesets and its stats allows it to reign supreme as the best pseudo Legendary Pokemon in any Pokemon game, including Pokemon Go.

For PvE, Grachomp excels as a Ground-type attacker, while also proves to be a wonderful Dragon-type Pokemon. Be it raid or Gym sweeps, the crazy high stats as well as a high CP allows Garchomp to be one of the best in game.

Your Best Movesets In Pokmon Go

Excadrill: Hes Quick He Hits Hard He Has Swords Dance Thats All

10 Strongest Non

Excadrill has always been strong even when his counters are in play. Now most of them are gone, hes better than ever. He has a great combination of 135 Attack and 88 Speed to quickly and confidently dish out damage. His typing of Ground/Steel is also great, both defensively and offensively. Being part Ground allows him to use STAB Earthquake whilst Iron Head makes for a decent Steel STAB option.

Perhaps his most appealing feature is that due to his 110 HP, Excadrill can usually tank a hit allowing him to set up Swords Dance. Finally, Rapid Spin makes for a nice support move to clear hazards and irritating stall moves like Leech Seed. Game Freak was even kind enough to bring its base power up to 50 from 20, and let it boost Speed by one stage.

If thats not enough, Pokemon Sword and Shield happens to include his partner in crime. One of Excadrills hidden abilities is Sand Rush. Simply, when the user fights during a sandstorm, their speed is doubled. Happily enough, another top tier brawler, Tyranitar, happens to possess an ability that calls in a sandstorm in when triggered. Leading with Tyranitar and switching into Excadrill can be a great way of setting up for a mean s

Best Ghost Type: Chandelure

  • Weaknesses: Dark, Ground, Rock, Ghost, Water
  • Resistances: Fairy, Ice, fire, Grass, Steel, Poison, Fighting, Bug, Normal
  • Moveset: Hex, Shadow Ball

With superior stats than any other Ghost types, including Gengar, and the access to a great movepool, Chandelure comes out as a great Ghost-type Pokemon. While it not quite useful as a Lead, it shines more as a generalist. This is mainly due to Ghost being super-effective against itself. While Gengar has a slight advantage due to its access to Shadow Claw, the move cannot be learnt anymore . without Shadow Claw, Gengar is quite weak owing to its inferior stats, thus making Chandelure better.

Hex is the only Ghost-type move that can be learnt by Chandelure. However, the Legendary-tier Attack stat of Chandelure allows it to perform quite well. The cumbersome movesets forces it to lag behind a bit in the Great League, but is pretty useful in the Ultra. Energy Ball as an additional Charged move covers most of Chandelures weaknesses, and thus is recommended. It lacks the stats and CP to compete in the Master League, where Giratina Origin reigns supreme. On the PvE side of things, Chandelure can be a great gym sweeper as well as Attacker. It however, does not perform well as a Defender.

Best Rock Type: Rhyperior

  • Weaknesses: Water, Grass, Ground, Ice, Steel, Fighting
  • Resistances: Normal, Rock, Flying, Fire, Electric, Poison
  • Moveset: Smack Down, Rock Wrecker

Rhyperior can perform as a decent Ground-type attacker but it works as an excellent Rock-type Pokemon. While Rampardos is infamous for being theRock-type with maximum DPS, Rhyperior is close enough with an Attack of 241. Its huge bulk aloolws it to actualy perform better than Rampardos in a no shield scenario. The dual Ground and Rock typing allows it to doubly resist Electric types- something that other top tier Rock type attackers do not have.

Rhyperior recently received its Community Day move Rock Wrecker. This has spiked up its position in the meta, allowing it to become the second best Rock-type attacker after Rampardos. However, when we talk about PvP and PvE combined, Rhyperiors superior stats easily makes it the best Rock-type in the game. While the slower speed hold it down in the Great League, it is much more valuable in the Ultra. A maxed out Rhyperior is also able to make a nice niche in the Master League and can be pretty offensive with Smack Down . Adding Surf allows it to have additional coverage, while Superpower is another great choice.

While Rhyperior clearly performs the best in PvP, it is also a great Pokemon to use in Raids. It can deal a high amount of damage, even in neutral match-ups. Its high bulk also makes it a praiseworthy Defender.

Galarian Darmanitan: One Hell Of An Upgrade

The original Darmanitan was not all that great. He had some purpose in UU thanks to his decent typing coupled with a 140 physical Attack stat. He wasnt quite quick enough to be a sweeper or tanky enough to take more than one hit at best. It left him in a strange spot where you give him a Choice Band, spam Flare Blitz, and hope for a kill or two.

The general idea hasnt changed that much but its impact certainly has. Galarian Darmanitan gets access to the signature ability, Gorilla Tactics. Gorillas Tactics acts the same as a Choice Band. Darmanitan receives an attack bonus at the cost of only being about to use one move. More importantly, Gorilla Tactics stacks with Choice Band, effectively doubling Galarian Darmanitans Attack stat.

All of a sudden, that already strong 140 Attack becomes a sensational 280 instead. Its no secret either that his new Ice typing happens to be a very strong attacking type. Of course, Ice is also the worst defensive typing but the importance of that lessens when you can one-shot most Pokemon.

Icicle Crash makes for a great primary STAB move. Of course, since youre locked into one move good coverage is necessary. Fortunately, Darmanitan has access to both Earthquake and Flare Blitz. The former is a great way of dealing with pesky Fire and Rock types. Thanks to Darmanitans insanely high Attack, STAB isnt even required to one-shot most Pokemon. Somehow, Game Freak has made Darmanitan the best hard hitter in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Best Psychic Type: Metagross

Top 10 Non Legendary Pokemon Worth Powering Up In Pokemon Go!
  • Weaknesses: Fire, Dark, Ground, Ghost
  • Resistances: Dragon, Ice, Normal, Grass, Steel, Rock, Flying, Fairy, Psychic, Poison
  • Moveset: Zen Headbutt, Psychic

Many would claim the best non-legendary Psychic type to be Espeon. When it comes to just attack, it is true. However, the stats of Espeon does not allow it to perform well unshielded, or in neutral match-ups. Metagross suffers no such disadvantage. It not only has an incredibly high Attack, but equally high Defence and Stamina as well. Psychic is a cheaper move than Meteor Mash, and can handle those Pokemon which resist Steel-type attacks. With Zen Headbutt, Psychic as well as Meteor Mash, Metagross not only can be very offensive in PvP, but also threatening in PvE with great damage output.

Lucario: The Perfect Combination Of Steel And Speed

Lucario’s type, Fighting/Steel, means it’s got the best of both worlds in a battle with Arceus. Fighting-type moves are twice as effective as other moves against the centaur-like Pokémon, and Lucario’s steeliness would give it a good amount of defense against whatever attacks Arceus throws at it.

While it doesn’t massively increase its size, Lucario’s Mega form sees it adopt a killer instinct, unleashing every ounce of its power. While not the largest or most defensively-minded Pokémon, Lucario’s speed, power, and Mega form should be enough to take down Arceus.

    Best Electric Type: Magnezone

    • Resistances: Steel, Electric, Flying, Poison, Bug, Dragon, Fairy, Grass, Ice, Normal, Psychic, Rock
    • Moveset: Spark, Wild Charge

Magnezone has the best typing any Pokemon can get. The Steel and Electric typing makes it resistant to 12 other types- making it the Pokemon with the highest number of resistances. Match it with an Attack of 238, and you get a Pokemon which is a literal tank. Magnezone, however, lacks any legacy movesets, and its slow moves make it somewhat less popular amongst the players. However, like we said, the slow moves are overshadowed by its absurd number of resistances.

With its impressive stats, you can always rely on Magnezone to be a great starter. It can not only bait the opponents shields with Mirror Shot, but can easily take hits, thus saving your shields at the same time. While it can perform extremely well in suitable match-ups, it loses to the popular meta in the Ultra League. Its sluggish movesets make it a bit less useful in the great, while its low max CP limits it in the Master League. However, do not get disheartened here for Magnezone is one of the most reliable Attacker as well as Closer, and can offer you wins in most situations, even with shileds down. Spark and Wild Charge are the best movesets for Magnezone, but you can also add Mirror shot as an extra Charged Move. This low energy Charged move not only baits the opponents shields, but also gives a dubuff to their Attack.
