If your team is fast paced, Chansey is a better choice, because it takes hits better in short term, while if your team is more slow and stallish, Blissey is better, as she will be staying a lot in, and thus gaining a lot of Lefties healing, which means that she is going to take hits better in long term.

The Normal-type is a nice mix of the other Supporter Pokémon that were already featured in the game, combining high endurance and support stats while sacrificing some mobility. This is in line with how Blissey works in the main series Pokémon games and works well with how the Happiness Pokémon plays.

Along with being a new Supporter, Blissey is also just the second Pokémon focused on healing and boosting allies, using its moves to act as ranged support or actively increase the stats of teammates. Because it is even more geared towards being a pure support character, Blisseys moveset wont be easy to master.

You will need to believe in your teammates and find the right laning combination to run with, but once you get into late-game teamfights, Blissey can be a monster.

When it comes to held items for Blissey in Pokémon Unite, you’ll want to select ones which will combat its weaknesses and provide some useful boosts.

Since you won’t be using Blissey to gather score points by defeating wild Pokémon, you run the risk of it being a harder Pokémon to level up. You can negate this, however, by giving it Exp. Share, which will increase its passive Exp. Point gain. This means you can focus on supporting your teammates, rather than gathering the required Exp. Points yourself.

To combat Blissey’s low offence stat, we recommend selecting the Rocky Helmet. This item will provide passive damage to any opposing Pokémon which successfully attacks you, which is incredibly useful if you’re playing Blissey as pure support.

Blissey falls into the Supporter class in Pokémon Unite, which means this Pokémon’s job is to restore their allies’ health and provide useful buffs. If you haven’t played as a Supporter Pokémon yet, then Blissey is a great place to start since it’s quite easy to play.

One glance at Blissey’s stats and it’s clear this Pokémon was designed purely for support. This means, when playing as Blissey, your role is to heal allies to help them score as many goals as possible. You can still gather points and score goals yourself when possible, but avoid wandering off into the battlefield by yourself.

Instead, stay close to either an Attacker, like Cinderace or Greninja, or an All-Rounder, such as Lucario or Machamp, to ensure you’re in the best place to support them. You’ll discover that your abilities will compliment each other – the Attacker or All-Rounder providing the offense Blissey lacks, while Blissey, being one of the best healers in the game, ensures they can fight for longer.

Despite needing backup to reach its full potential, Blissey isn’t completely defenceless. It benefits from a high endurance stat and Blissey’s ability, Natural Cure, will remove any status condition affecting it – though this ability does have a cooldown.
