For players who have the extra PokéCoins there is an option to earn better Rewards for winning Battles. At the beginning of each Pokémon Go Battle League Set, you can choose between Basic and Premium Rewards. These Rewards include Berries, Stardust, TMs, and Pokémon Encounters.

The Pokémon you can encounter do not change between Premium and Basic, but they do get better as you rank up. Your first encounters for certain Ranks are guaranteed. • Catching Poliwhirl, Flaaffy, Pupitar, Medicham, Scraggy, Galvantula, Lampent, and Stunfisk in Battle League reward encounters will also earn you more Candy XL than normal.

How To Make And Swap Pokemon Battle Parties

Niantic has introduced the option to create multiple battle parties for each League in the Player vs. Player battle mode. To access this feature, players have to follow these steps:

• Enter the Map View – Considering most of the game takes place in the map view, this will not be a hard step to follow. As long as you can see your avatar walking on the map, you are on the map view.
• Enter the Main Menu – Once on the map view, press the Poke Ball shaped button on the bottom of your screen. This will take you to the main menu.

How To Change Teams In Pokemon Go

Previously the answer was that you couldnt, but that is changing very soon. A new item called the Team Medallion is being added to the game very soon, which will allow players to change teams once per use. Tomorrow, February 26th will be the first day this item becomes available in the Pokemon GO shop. It will cost 1,000 coins, roughly the equivalent of about $10. You can only use this item once per year though, so use it wisely.

If you joined the wrong team way back when and want to change then just head to the shop and buy a Team Medallion. Use it and choose whatever team you prefer and your job is all done. Remember the limitation though, which is in place to prevent players from changing teams all the time for random reasons. Be sure that this is the team you want to be on for a year, at the very minimum. You wont be able to buy and use another Team Medallion for some time, so this is almost as important a choice as when you first picked a team way back at level 5.

Were happy to share Team Change with you. Later this month, starting at 1:00 p.m. PST on February 26, Team Change will allow Trainers to change teams once per year. Interested Trainers will be able to purchase a Team Medallion for 1,000 PokéCoins from the shop.

Choose your team wisely, Trainers, as you may only purchase a Team Medallion once every 365 days. Once purchased, you can find the Team Medallion in your Bag. When you decide to activate it, youll be guided through the team-selection screens to choose your new team.

Any of your Pokémon that are in Gyms when you change teams will be returned with no PokéCoins earned once its defeated. You also cant battle your own Pokémon, so if you return to a Gym one of your Pokémon is defending, your Pokémon will be returned to you with no PokéCoins earned.

Thankfully, there seems to be a workaround to this. Several users and Redditors have reported about successfully contacting Niantic in order to change their team. Be warned, though, that Niantic will only accept your request for changing teams once and you cant keep changing them as you like.

This adjustment is to aid players that chose a team by mistake. Another thing to note is that they will only accept your request if youre low level and have not spent a lot of time with your chosen team.

To change teams, all you have to do is click this link. After clicking the link you will be redirected to the official website of Niantic. Here youll be given an option to change your team for another one of your choice via a support form. Youll just need to provide some minimal details like your e-mail address, nickname, and OS version to complete this process.

Make sure to describe why you want to change your team in the additional request tab. If youve followed the steps above, you might be able to choose a new team, even after initially picking a different one. This process is tedious but worth the effort if you feel youve joined the wrong team. This might take a bit of time since many people are submitting requests.
