Basic Vs Premium Rewards In The Pokmon Go Battle League
For players who have the extra PokéCoins there is an option to earn better Rewards for winning Battles. At the beginning of each Pokémon Go Battle League Set, you can choose between Basic and Premium Rewards. These Rewards include Berries, Stardust, TMs, and Pokémon Encounters.
The Pokémon you can encounter do not change between Premium and Basic, but they do get better as you rank up. Your first encounters for certain Ranks are guaranteed. For Season Seven, the Pokémon reward encounters and some of the other rewards are inspired by Elesa, a trainer introduced in Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version:
- Rank 1: Guaranteed encounter with Zebstrika.
- Rank 1-9: Possible encounters with Poliwhirl, Flaaffy, Pupitar, or Galvantula.
- Rank 10: Pikachu Libre avatar items.
- Rank 10-15: Possible encounters with Medicham, Frillish, or Stunfisk.
- Rank 15-20: Possible encounters with Scraggy, Lampent, Rufflet, or Shiny Rufflet.
- Rank 19: An Elite Charged TM plus an Elite Fast TM as an end-of-season reward.
- Rank 20-24: Encounter the Legendary Pokémon appearing in five-star raids at the time.
- Ace Rank: Encounter with Deino.
- Legend Rank: Encounter with Pikachu Libre. This will be the only time you’ll be able to encounter a Pikachu Libre during the season. You’ll also earn a pose and avatar items inspired by Elesa.
- Catching Poliwhirl, Flaaffy, Pupitar, Medicham, Scraggy, Galvantula, Lampent, and Stunfisk in Battle League reward encounters will also earn you more Candy XL than normal.
How To Make And Swap Pokemon Battle Parties
Niantic has introduced the option to create multiple battle parties for each League in the Player vs. Player battle mode. To access this feature, players have to follow these steps:
- Enter the Map View – Considering most of the game takes place in the map view, this will not be a hard step to follow. As long as you can see your avatar walking on the map, you are on the map view.
- Enter the Main Menu – Once on the map view, press the Poke Ball shaped button on the bottom of your screen. This will take you to the main menu.
- Select the Battle Option – From the main menu, there will be an option at the middle of your screen on the right hand side labelled “Battle.”
- Swipe Right – On the Battle Screen, there will be an option at the top right called “Party”. To access that menu, all you have to do is swipe to the right.
- Create a Party – From there, all you have to do is select a mode you would like to make a team for. From this menu, you can make a team for any league you would like to play or you can make a team specifically for raids and trainer battles.
Heres How You Can Change Your Pokemon Go Team
Millions of people are playing Pokemon GO and you might have chosen a team in the game by now, and there is every possibility that you would want to change it in the future. Many players chose teams before speaking to friends and family members, which may have resulted in them being on different teams.
However, the game doesnt allow you to change your team once you pick it after reaching level 5. There might be a few cheats to make the swap. All of them would result in losing your current games progress and stats.

How To Join A Team In Pokemon Go
Unfortunately, if youve just downloaded Pokemon GO for the first time, you wont be able to join a team straight away. You can only pledge your allegiance to a certain team once you hit Level 5. Once youre there, all you need to do is tap a gym, as if you were going to fight it. Following this, youll be presented with three birds to choose from: one blue, one red, and one yellow. These represent the three different teams: Mystic, Valor, and Instinct, respectively. All you have to do is select the team you want, and youll be greeted by the Leader. Mystic is led by Blanche, Valor by Candela, and Instinct by Spark though none of them grant you any special bonuses.
If you plan on playing Pokemon GO alongside friends, then be sure to consult with them before choosing a team. If youre on rival teams, you wont be able to fight gyms with them though fear not, as youll still be able to partake in raids together.
Which Team Is The Best In Pokemon Go
If you’re wondering which team to choose in Pokemon Go because you’re tired of repping the same colour for so long, it really boils down to whichever team your friends are on. Mystic are widely considered to be the most popular team, closely followed by Valor with Instinct way behind as notable underdogs. If all of your pals that you play with are on Instinct though, you’ll have much more fun taking down gyms with players on the same team as you. Not to mention the bonuses you receive in raids when the majority of players are on the same team.

You Can Finally Change Teams With A Team Medallion
Long ago when Pokemon GO first started everyone was forced to pick a team in order to interact with some of the games most important features. Gyms and later raids utilize the team system in different ways, and players were left to decide which of the games three teams to join after just a little while with the game. This led to a lot of people choosing poorly, either joining a team that isnt well represented in their area, or a different team than their friends. So that left many people wondering how to change teams and which team to pick in Pokemon GO.
Setting Battle Parties For The Pokmon Go Battle League
Another thing you can do to prepare for your next Battle is set Parties. Pokémon Go allows you to set up multiple Parties for each League This lets you pick out specific Pokémon ahead of time. When you go to Battle in the League, your chosen Party will be there waiting for you so you won’t have to wade through your hundreds of Pokémon to find the specific Tyranitar you want to bring. This is especially useful for players who have multiple of the same type of Pokémon for different purposes.

Pokemon Go: How To Change Your Team
Pokemon Go makes you choose which team you belong to quite early on, but how exactly do your change your team later if youre not happy with your first choice?
This simple question is what well be answering in this piece, fortunately, its not a complex process but it might take some effort to get to the point where you can change your team.
Why Do You Need To Change Pokmon Go Team
Although each team has different leaders, mascot Pokémons, etc. these attributes are mostly ornamental and do not affect gameplay in any way. So, essentially it really does not matter which team you choose as none of them has an extra edge over the other. Therefore arise the important question, What is the need to change Pokémon Go Team?
The answer is quite simple, teammates. If your teammates arent supportive and just not good enough, then you would most likely want to switch teams. The other plausible reason is to be on the same team as your friend or family members. Gym battles can get really fun if you and your friends work hand in hand and co-operate while challenging other teams for control of the Gym. Just like any other team, you would naturally want to have your friends on your team, watching your back.

How To Change Your Player Name In Pokmon Go
One of the new features that shipped with the Pokémon GO 1.3.0 update this week was the ability to change your player name in the game. This is the name that everybody sees when you compete in gyms, so if you accidentally chose a name you didnt want, now is your chance to switch it out.
In this tutorial, well show you the steps to take to change your name in Pokémon GO.
Before we get started, its important to note that you can only change your name one time. Niantic has this measure in place to make sure no one takes advantage of the name-changing system.
One youre sure youve come up with a name you want, you can proceed with the steps were about to show you.
Is There Anything Else To It
Not really on the how-to change front, you just need to buy yourself a Team Medallion with 1000 coins from the in-game shop, and then you can use the item and change team once whenever you desire.
Given the high cost of the Medallion, make sure youre certain before committing to any decision.
You should also be aware that any Pokemon currently in Gyms wont earn coins upon their return as they are still technically defending for a Team you are no longer part of, and that you can only buy the Medallion once a year.
Thats everything there is to know about how to change your team in Pokemon Go Trainers, hopefully, your next team suits you better and you dont have to change a second time, thatd be getting quite expensive otherwise!

How To Change Teams In Pokemon Go
Previously the answer was that you couldnt, but that is changing very soon. A new item called the Team Medallion is being added to the game very soon, which will allow players to change teams once per use. Tomorrow, February 26th will be the first day this item becomes available in the Pokemon GO shop. It will cost 1,000 coins, roughly the equivalent of about $10. You can only use this item once per year though, so use it wisely.
If you joined the wrong team way back when and want to change then just head to the shop and buy a Team Medallion. Use it and choose whatever team you prefer and your job is all done. Remember the limitation though, which is in place to prevent players from changing teams all the time for random reasons. Be sure that this is the team you want to be on for a year, at the very minimum. You wont be able to buy and use another Team Medallion for some time, so this is almost as important a choice as when you first picked a team way back at level 5.
Thats how to change teams in Pokemon GO. This is a new process, so well update this article as more is understood about it. Now for the somewhat bigger question of which team to pick.
New Team Medallion Allows Trainers To Switch Teams
Taking down Gyms and battling in raids have been a team effort over the last two years. Whether youre on #TeamInstinct, #TeamMystic, or #TeamValor, you came together with your teammates and helped one another be better Trainers. Weve loved watching you share your team pride and band together with others to take on new challenges. Are you ready to take your talents to a new team? The team leaders would be excited to recruit you!
Were happy to share Team Change with you. Later this month, starting at 1:00 p.m. PST on February 26, Team Change will allow Trainers to change teams once per year. Interested Trainers will be able to purchase a Team Medallion for 1,000 PokéCoins from the shop.
Choose your team wisely, Trainers, as you may only purchase a Team Medallion once every 365 days. Once purchased, you can find the Team Medallion in your Bag. When you decide to activate it, youll be guided through the team-selection screens to choose your new team.
Any of your Pokémon that are in Gyms when you change teams will be returned with no PokéCoins earned once its defeated. You also cant battle your own Pokémon, so if you return to a Gym one of your Pokémon is defending, your Pokémon will be returned to you with no PokéCoins earned.
We cant wait to see the new Gyms you win with your friends and Pokémon! Theres just one question: Will you be hatching Eggs with Spark, conducting research with Blanche, or battling alongside Candela? Lets team up and GO!

Pokmon Go Teams Valor Mystic And Instinct
If you are still undecided, then maybe taking a closer look at each of their personalities and personal philosophy on Pokémon might help, as first revealed at 2016 San Diego Comic-Con.
Team Instinct – Yellow – Zapdos
Team Instinct – who presumably drew inspiration for their name from one of the teams on The Apprentice – are lead by a chap named Spark. Here’s what he has to say:
Pokémon are creatures with excellent intuition. I bet the secret to their intuition is related to how they’re hatched. Come and join my team. You never lose when you trust your instinct!
Team Mystic – Blue – Articuno
Team Mystic are led by Blanche, who has this to say:
The wisdom of Pokémon is immeasurably deep. I’m researching why it is that they evolve. My team? With our calm analysis of every situation, we can’t lose!
Team Valor – Red – Moltres
Headed up by Candela, Team Valor are apparently all about Pokémon’s strength:
Pokémon are stronger than humans, and they’re warmhearted, too! I’m researching ways to enhance Pokémon’s natural power in the pursuit of true strength. There’s no doubt that the Pokémon our team have trained are the strongest in battle!

Changing Teams In Pokmon Go
Thankfully, there seems to be a workaround to this. Several users and Redditors have reported about successfully contacting Niantic in order to change their team. Be warned, though, that Niantic will only accept your request for changing teams once and you cant keep changing them as you like.
This adjustment is to aid players that chose a team by mistake. Another thing to note is that they will only accept your request if youre low level and have not spent a lot of time with your chosen team.
To change teams, all you have to do is click this link. After clicking the link you will be redirected to the official website of Niantic. Here youll be given an option to change your team for another one of your choice via a support form. Youll just need to provide some minimal details like your e-mail address, nickname, and OS version to complete this process.
Make sure to describe why you want to change your team in the additional request tab. If youve followed the steps above, you might be able to choose a new team, even after initially picking a different one. This process is tedious but worth the effort if you feel youve joined the wrong team. This might take a bit of time since many people are submitting requests. Let us know if you were able to successfully change your team using this method.
