To get a Froslass in Pokemon Go, youre going to have to meet a few different requirements. The first and most obvious, youll need 100 candy to be able to evolve a Snorunt into Froslass at all.
When youve got the candy requirement out of the way, youve likely captured quite a few Snorunt to choose from If you want Froslass specifically and not Glalie, youll need to make sure you pick a female Snorunt, as Froslass is gender-locked. When youve got both the candy and the female Snorunt ready, you just need one last item a Sinnoh stone.

- Catch 2 Chimchar Chimchar with Lucas hat

How To Evolve Snorunt Into Froslass & Glalie Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
This is where things concerning Snorunt get interesting. The Snorunt can evolve either into Froslass, a powerful though delicate dual Ice/Ghost-type, or into the Glalie, a hardy Ice-type. To evolve it into Froslass, the Snorunt you want to evolve it into needs to be female. Besides this prerequisite, you will also need a Dawn Stone. Once you use a Dawn Stone on a female Snorunt, it will then evolve into a Froslass.
The process of evolving a Snorunt into a Glalie is much simpler. All you need to do is to get your Snorunt to Level 42 and it will then automatically evolve into Glaile. This happens regardless of the gender of the Snorunt. So there you have it, the two evolutionary choices you have when it comes to Snorunt.

Froslass is a mon that was introduced to the Pokemon world in Gen 4 and it evolves from a female Snorunt, which first appeared in Gen 3.
However, due to the complicated way that Snorunt evolves into Froslass, it took a while to appear in the game. Snorunt also evolves into Glalie, which is already possible in the game, but evolving into Froslass isnt as simple as getting enough candies and hitting evolve.
Traditionally in the series, you need a Dawn Stone, as well as a female Snorunt, to evolve into Froslass. As of now, the Dawn Stone item isnt in the game, but the evolution chain has been added as part of the Sinnoh Stone evolutions.
Since Froslass is an Ice Type, just like Snorunt before it, many people expected it to be one of the new Gen 4 Pokemon that has been added to the mobile game alongside the winter event., but we had to wait a little longer for it.

Froslass does not spawn naturally in the wild, so you will need to collect as many Snorunts as you can to get the candies you need. Alternatively, you could walk around with Snorunt set as your buddy to obtain more candies.

How To Evolve Snorunt Into Froslass Or Glalie In Pokemon Go
Snorunt may have two paths for evolution, but will only evolve once, excluding Mega Evolution. This means that whatever you evolve your Snorunt into, you will not be able to go back, and theres no hope of further evolutions of changes past that point.
But luckily that shouldnt be necessary, as Glalie and Froslass are both very, very cool and will be excellent additions to your team. Now, if you do manage to catch a Shiny Snorunt, your options for evolution will actually be limited. Unfortunately, Froslass can only be evolved from a Female Snorunt, meaning that even if you get lucky enough to find a Shiny Snorunt, your options for evolution may be limited before youve even checked their stats.
Here are all of the evolution methods for Snorunt.
- Snorunt > 100x Snorunt Candy> Glalie
- Female Snorunt > 100x Snorunt Candy + Sinnoh Stone> Froslass

In Pokemon Go, there are a number of pocket monsters that have unique evolutionary families or requirements that need to be fulfilled before they can be evolved. For instance, Combee can only evolve if the Pokemon is female, while Burmy can be evolved into one of two Pokemon, depending on its gender.
Another Pokemon with a unique evolutionary system is Snorunt, an Ice-type Pokemon from Generation III of the Pokemon universe.

You must catch the following creatures to complete the Pokemon Go BD and SP event collection challenge:

- Turtwig wearing Dawns hat
- Piplup wearing Dawns hat
- Chimchat wearing Dawns hat
The rewards for completing the collection challenge are 1,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust, and an encounter with Froslass.
Now can only get the above creatures with Dawns Hat before 20:00 local time on November 21st via the Wild. Before you were able to catch creatures with Lucas hat in the Wild but this expired on November 18th.
If you missed out on Lucas hat in the Wild, then you can still complete the collection challenge by completing the Shining Pearl field research tasks.
