NIANTIC BOOSTED & THEN NERFED SHINY GIBLE RATES In Pokémon GO?! | How Rare Is A Wild Shiny Gible?

While Swablu itself was a Normal/Flying type, its evolution Altaria was part Dragon type, which carries over to this months Pokémon as well with the always highly sought after Gible. This Dragon/Ground type Pokémon was introduced in the fourth generation of games and has been around in Pokémon GO for awhile now, though either as a rare spawn or in raids typically.

As is standard with most Community Days, Gible will be spawning between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm local time on Sunday, June 6. Sometimes you will come across another Pokémon during this period, but it should typically just be Gible for the most part here. As a result, there will certainly be no shortage of Gible to be found during the event.

This is the first key to getting a shiny Gible on Community Day, as you just want to catch as many as you can. Whether you are catching them in the game itself or using a Poké Ball Plus to catch them, you should come across shinies eventually by just catching more.

If you want to up your odds, there are a few ways to do that as well. Those are going to be through some other means, including the Special Research Just A Nibble Ticket that you have to pay $0.99 to purchase. This will give you special research that will research you with Gible encounters that have increased shiny chances. Its no guarantee that you will get a shiny from these, but it does have the increased odds.

So What Are The Rarest Pokmon In ‘pokmon Go’ For 2021

Sure, there are other aspects of the Pokémon games that fans enjoy, maybe they like the turn-based battle systems, or exploring the world map and evolving their monsters. However, engaging in random battles with them and seeing a brand new creature you’ve never encountered before always brings a very exciting thrill.

A lot of whether or not you’ll catch these creatures depends on the equipment that you have, too. Will you be able to weaken it enough to make it possible to capture? Or will you hurt the monster to the point where you completely deplete its HP, rendering your attempts at capturing it fruitless?

Well, here’s hoping that doesn’t happen if and when you come across these “ultra rare” Pokémon.

If you’re trying to catch an uber-rare Pokémon in 2021, these are some of the toughest to get:

  • Axew
  • Tirtouga
  • Archen

And the ones listed below are rare in their own right, but they are more commonly stumbled upon than the five listed above:

  • Larvitar
  • Gible
  • Sewaddle
  • Cryogonal
  • Vanillite
  • Scrafty

Pokmon Go Announces Rare Gible As June Community Day Headliner

Pokémon GO developer Niantic teases that June 2021’s Community Day event will focus on the popular and exceedingly rare Gible.

Developer Niantic has announced that June 2021’s Pokémon GO Community Day Event will focus on the rare and sought-after Gible, and Shiny hunters likely couldn’t be more pleased. Gible is a fairly rare Dragon and Ground-type Pokémon that was introduced as part of the franchise’s fourth generation back in 2006.

Despite reaching its fifth year since launch, Pokémon GO continues to receive new content and a constant stream of in-game events. Many of the title’s most frequent events serve to increase the spawn rate of specific Pokémon in order to help players complete their collections. An upcoming May 9 Limited Research event focuses on Marill, the Water and Fairy-type that fans have loved since Gen II. This particular event will give players tasks to complete, and doing so leads to a guaranteed encounter with Marill. The blue puffball’s ultra-rare green Shiny variant will also have a distinct chance to spawn during the Limited Research event. Aside from Pokémon GO Fest, the most popular Pokémon GO events are probably its Community Days, which occur monthly and increase the spawn rates of a specifically spotlighted Pokémon each time. May’s Community Day spotlights Swablu, the cloudy avian Pokémon, on May 15.

What Is Gible Community Day

Gible has a two-step evolution that culminates in the Pokemon becoming Garchomp, a pseudo-legendary Pokemon. The event comes with numerous tasks, and there are rewards given after every task, according to ComicBook.com.

As with the past Community Day events, the festivities on June 6 will start at 11:00 A.M. Eastern Standard time and will feature a lot of Gible spawning all around the area.

Any Gabite evolved into a Garchomp during the event learns the Ground-type move Earth Power, which makes Garchomp one of the most effective Ground-type attackers to use in raids in the game.

The Community Day this month features the exclusive move Earth Power. Earth Power is a Ground-type charge move with a relatively modest energy cost and has a base damage of 90, according to Polygon.

Where Earth Power really shines is its ability to debuff an opponent’s Defense by one level in PvP. Landing a debuff on an opponent can swing a PvP battle in your favor, making makes Earth Power an effective secondary move to give Garchomp.

The Gible Community Day will also come with a 3X Catch XP bonus, which means that players can earn a ton of XP for participating in the event. So if you’re trying to level up in the game, be sure to stack the 3X Catch XP with a Lucky Egg to maximize your XP during the event.

Azelf Mesprit And Uxie

These three Legendary Pokemon are very fascinating, as they’re the only Legendaries that can spawn in the wild, and they still can! Most Legendaries rotate in and out of raids, but these three are always available.

However, that’s not to say they’re common. They’re incredibly, incredibly rare. On top of their rarity, they’re also region-locked! Many people were able to get them by finding someone in another region while they were in raids, since you can now raid remotely, so it’s probably best to wait until that’s possible again.

How To Get Shiny Garchomp

It does not even feel like it has been that long since the last Pokémon GO Community Day with Swablu as it came in the middle of the month in May, but its already time for yet another here on the first weekend of June. The focus this time has shifted to the fan favorite Gible that people have always been trying to get more of in the game to eventually get its final evolution Garchomp. This means people will really be wanting to catch plenty of Gible on Community Day, but even more so the shiny version that will be available as well.

If you miss the Community Day period, youll likely be able to evolve your Gible during the December Community Weekend event to get Earth Power, based on past years. You can also use an Elite TM to teach legacy Community Day-only moves.

The Rarest Shiny Pokmon

Even if theyre a common wild spawn on a Community Day, everyone loves a shiny Pokémon. But identifying the rarest shinies is pretty easy.

The rarest shiny Pokémon are those wearing hats, costumes, holiday trinkets or flower crowns.

This is because the Pokémon were only available for a short period of time and, in some cases, theyll never appear again and your chances of getting one are limited to trades.

The 2 rarest costumed shines are Pikachu Libre and Detective Hat Pikachu. If you have one of these, we tip our Ash baseball cap to you.

Is Gible Rare Or Something

It’s very rare. The evolved form Garchomp is a very strong Ground and Dragon pokemon.

It’s a pseudo-legendary. In the same tier as Dragonite, Metagross, Tyranitar, etc. Think about how rare their first forms are in the wild, except on their community days, and you get an idea how hard it is to find one.

So they are worth being traded for some top tier shinies?

Only one person in our whole town has hatched one so far. I’ve hatched 5 Dratini since he was released :/

Thats crazy to think about. Gives me a better idea of the rarity. Thanks.

So this happened yesterday

It is very rare, but it is on 10 kms eggs, I don’t think it is on the adventure sync 10kms egg but we’ll see about that. Just hatched one last night. It has one of the lowest hatch ratios on 10kms, so don’t give up on 10kms

Some 10K eggs don’t work with adventure sync?

Yes it is, it’s why on lapras day we seen one so about 50+ players all ran for it lol. Was good to see.

And your lvl 40!! It must be more rare than I expected it to be.

I just caught one in the wild yesterday

saw two in the wild so far, i think you just have to be very lucky and constantly checking your radar.

I hatched one out of a 10k egg, it came with 26 candy so I could evolve to Gabite. Its now my buddy. Only one Ive ever seen.

Did the appearance rate increase or something? I still can’t believe it at all. I’ve hatched a lot of 10 km eggs the past week but had no luck .

Is Gible Rare In Pokemon Go 2021

Gible remains rare, but the number of Gible sightings reported have gone way past anecdotal. The increase in Gible spawns is likely part of Pokémon GOs Season of Legends, which has introduced a new set of common and rare spawns exclusive to each Hemisphere with some available in both, including Gible.

Pokemon Go Gible Community Day Will Give You Chance To Get A Shiny Gible

Niantic has released all the details for Pokemon Go Gible Community Day, which kicks off June 6.

First, we’ve got a start time: Gible Community Day will start on Sunday, June 6 at 11am local time and will run until 5pm local time. During Gible Community Day you’ll get a chance to catch the rare Land Shark Pokemon, with an opportunity to catch its Shiny form, too. You’ll also be able to encounter Gible in snapshots.

Partake in the special day and you can get an exclusive move for Garchomp called Gabite, which is an attack Earth Power. Players who log onto Pokemon Go during Gible Community Day can enjoy 3x Catch XP, and a longer-lasting incense – activate it and it’ll lure Pokemon for three hours.

A $1 Special Research story called ‘Just a Nibble’ will be available for purchase, as well as a special Community Day Box. Here’s what’s in the Gible Community Day Box:

  • 1,280 PokeCoins
  • Five Lukcy Eggs
  • One Elite charged TM

Niantic announced Pokemon Go Gible Community Day earlier in the month to much fanfare – as many players have been asking for this day for some time. Gible is notoriously difficult to get, as he’s extremely hard to find in the wild, and is usually only obtained by hatching a 10km egg. Now, however, it’ll be a lot easier to find the baby shark in the wild.

Azelf Mespirit And Uxie

Yes, its true: this legendary trio spawns in the wild. Weve seen it. But the chances of witnessing this miraculous event are minuscule.

Azelf, Mespirit and Uxie are the only legendary Pokémon that appear in the wild, and they also swoop into gyms to star in raids from time to time.

But collecting the full set is a pain as the tricky threesome are region locked. So youll have to wait until theyre in raids, then hope for a remote invite from a far-flung friend you can make lots of new friends around the world by sharing your friend code.

The regions where youll find the 3 legendaries are:

  • Uxie: Asia-Pacific
  • Mespirit: Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India
  • Azelf: The Americas and Greenland
