How To Power Up And Evolve Pokemon
If you check your Pokedex, you will see two options under a Pokemon Power Up and Evolve. Powering up a Pokemon requires a special item called StarDust and Evolution requires Candy. Both these items do not mean much at the very beginning of the game, but become one of the most sought-after items later in the game.
One important thing that you need to bear in mind is that StarDust is universal and can be used to power up any Pokemon while Candy is Pokemon-specific.
Every time you capture a Pokemon, you get x100 StarDust and its specific x3 Candy say Bulbasaur Candy. Aside from this, being a member of a gym provides x100 StarDust every 21 hours. Keeping these things in mind and using items like Incense and Lure Modules, you can easily farm these items use them power up or evolve your Pokemon.

But Wait What The Heck Is A Lucky Egg
It’s an egg that’s lucky! Really, it’s filled with happiness and most importantly, grants you double the amount of experience points you can gain for 30 minutes at a time. You can only buy these in the Shop, with Coins. If you’ve got a couple Pokemon you’re almost ready to evolve, save up those candies until you’ve got a Lucky Egg, then evolve them all one after another while the Lucky Egg’s dank XP aura is in the air to double down on that extra CP and XP.

Pokemon Go: Best Pokemon With Highest Cp
– With Pokemon mania having spread across the world, you’re probably in the position where you’re wondering which Pokemon you should really be investing your time in. With a choice of 151 Pokemon , we’ve rounded up the best Pokemon in Pokemon Go.
Of course, CP, or Combat Power isn’t the only measure of how effective a Pokemon will be in a battle, but in many cases, when you’re facing an opponent in a Gym, the higher CP that your Pokemon has, the better chance you have of surviving. That’s reflected in the “rating” below, as a measure overall of how good that Pokemon is.
If you want to know where to focus your efforts, however, then take a look through;this list of best Pokemon sorted by CP. Pulled together by GamePress, we can’t verify that all the information is correct, but there is another place to look for yourself.
If you open up the details about a Pokemon you have, you’ll see the CP rating at the top of the card, with a semi-circle heading over the top of the character’s picture. This is the CP line and once it reaches the far right, you’re at the maximum CP for that character.
It’s a little more complicated than that, however, because the maximum CP you can reach is based on your Trainer’s XP. As you power up, your ability to increase the CP of your Pokemon increases too, so you might find you’ve powered up your Pokemon as far as you can, and then you lose the option, until you’ve gained more XP.
Team Time: Long Live Valor
If you’re just starting out, you may notice gyms that are blue, red, or yellow. And you’ve probably figured out that you can’t do anything with gyms yet! That’s because you need to be at Level 5. Once you are, visit a gym and join one of three teams: Team Mystic , Team Valor , or Team Instinct . Each team has a leader: Blanche for blue, Candela for red, and Spark for yellow. Not only that, each team represents one of the three Legendary Birds: Articuno for blue, Moltres for red, and Zapdos for yellow.

And Here’s What Happened When We Evolved Him
The final result is close, but it’s four CP out of the range predicted. So why is that?
As Kyurun notes in their Reddit post, the list is only meant as an indication because “the website might not be 100% accurate.”
“For more accurate results,” writes Kyurun, “refer to an IV calculator”.
This is where things get a bit complicated. Basically, each Pokémon has its own “individual values” which determine how strong it is. So while every Drowzee will have the same “base values,” each individual Drowzee will have its own individual values on top of that which determine its strength in battle .
Chances are our Drowzee’s IVs weren’t the best, which might have been why it evolved into a slightly weaker Hypno than predicted.

Pokemon Go: List Of Max Cp Attainable By Pokemon In Pokemon Go
In Pokemon GO there arent any levels and a Pokemons strength is represented by its CP.
CP starts off from single digits and goes up to the thousands.;So in most cases the higher CP your Pokemon has, the stronger it will be. Now CP isnt the only stat that matters since a Dragonite will always be stronger than a Pidgeot at the same CP but its an easy number for most cases.
Each Pokemon in the game is locked at a certain max CP level which isnt made clear in the game.;Luckily for us, Gamepress managed to get the max CP numbers attainable by Pokemon in the game from the games code. So these numbers are fairly accurate.
Check out the table below for the list of Max CPs attainable by Pokemon in Pokemon GO.

Understanding Power Up And Evolution Mechanics
After doing all the steps above, you need to select a Pokemon with the highest CP and trade all its duplicates for its Candy. Once done, continue to Power Up the Pokemon using StarDust and Candy until you have Candy for an Evolution and go with it!
You will notice an arc bar filling up above the Pokemon as you continue to power it up. From what we have gathered, each evolution in the game has different maximum CP based on Pokemon, Trainer Level, and Evolution Level.
Take the example of a Bulbasaur with maximum CP of 50 and current CP of 25. This essentially means that its arc bar is 50% filled! If you hit the evolution and change it to Ivysaur with a maximum CP of 1000, it will get to 500 since the arc bar was at 50%. Other than this, currently there is no knowing whether height/weight has any effects or not!
How Does Battling Work
Fighting in Pokemon Go is a bigger mess than Brock’s love life. You’re supposed to be able to swipe left and right to dodge the incoming attacks of opposing Pokemon. You can time the dodge by watching the opponent’s attack animation. If you have decent cell service, and a bit of luck, you should even be able to dodge special attacks. You’re also supposed to tap your opponent over and over to attack. Attacks’ effectiveness is based on the rock-paper-scissors system of strengths and weaknesses found in the core Pokemon games. That means fire is weak against water, grass is weak against fire, water is weak against grass. You can check what type your Pokemon is in its bio, or refer to this;handy-dandy chart. But, the Pokemon Go app’s performance issues turn fights into random kerfuffles. Your best bet is to have a ton of potions and revives at the ready in case you need to revive and heal fainted Pokemon, and just tap away, and tap and hold once in a while to unleash your Pokemon’s special attacks, which consumes some special meter .

If you’re anything like us, you shoot from the hip and let Pokeballs fly where they may. And, if you’re anything like us, eventually, you’re going to run out of Pokeballs that way. And if you stroll by a Pokestop, chances are your bag will be full and you will be unable to collect more Pokeballs! Well, don’t let that stop you. Just open your inventory and chuck some potions. Chances are you don’t need 99 of every Potion type, so get rid of some and you’ll get your Pokeballs back in no timeso long as you stroll by more Pokestops, or wait around for them to refresh.
The Pokemon With The Highest Hp
Chansey, Snorlax and Wigglytuff have the highest BaseStamina – relating to;HP – in Pokemon Go. This means they can absorb a lot of hits before they are knocked out, but each – being normal-type Pokemon -;would be vulnerable to the fighting type.
Chansey has a;Base Stamina of 500, compared to just 20 for Diglett.
Surprisingly, none of the three highest HP Pokemon in the game are legendary, but Mewtwo does indeed make the top 10 list.
The Reddit user who is analysing the data added:;”Most of these statistics;are hidden from users in the app – it’s only from a data dump of your Pokemon collection that these can be calculated.
“We’re still trying to figure out how the attack and;defense numbers;actually affect the battle situation, but some more research needs to be done first.”

If you’re already a Level 30 trainer, then you may not care about this tip. But if you’re just starting out and you’re about to select your starter Pokemon , don’t! Like Lord Humongous says: “Just walk away!” Instead, walk away from the starters, and keep ignoring them, and eventually, the plump electric mouse himself will appear for you to recruit. Finally, you, too, can be just like Ash Ketchum.
Complete Your Regional Pokdex
Pokémon Go’s slogan is “catch ’em all” and that directly translates into completing your Pokédex by catching, hatching, or evolving at least one of every type of Pokémon currently available in the game: Everything from Abra to Zubat ;or Bulbasaur to Tyranitar, if we go by the numbers.
It doesn’t include the Legendary Birds or Legendary Beasts because Pokémon Go hasn’t had an event or otherwise officially released them yet. Nor does it include Mew, Mewtwo, Celebi, and the other mythical, because Pokémon has likewise kept them off the board, at least for now.
It also doesn’t include the region-locked Pokémon that you can only catch in specific places Taurus in parts of North America, Mr. Mime in parts of Europe, Farfetch’d in parts of Asia, Kangaskhan in Australia, Heracross in Central and South America, and Corsola in the tropics.
What it does include is all the Gen 1 and Gen 2 Pokémon currently available in your area. In other words, catching ’em all and completing your regional Pokédex.

Complete Research Tasks To Gain Bonuses
Field research tasks are essentially a list of quests given to you when you spin a Pokestop, like, “Use 5 Berries to help catch Pokemon,” or, “Catch 10 Pokemon with Weather Boost.” Completing them successfully gives you various bonuses including Stardust, items, and encounters with rare Pokemon like Jynx. There are currently three kinds of tasks:
Field Research: These are basic goals with a single objective. You get one of these a day and they’re usually something simple like spinning a Pokestop.
Special Research: These tasks are more story-based and give you multiple goals that require several steps to complete, like catching and transferring a Pokemon.
Research Breakthrough: These tasks are based on collecting stamps and give you rewards like Stardust, items, and rare Pokemon encounters.
You can only have up to three tasks at a time, but don’t worry, you can trash a task if you think you can’t complete it successfully. Clearing a task allows you to pick up a new one.
Trade Lots Of Pokemon To Get Lucky Ones
From now on, when you trade Pokemon, there’s a chance for them to become Lucky. That means they require less Stardust to power up than regular Pokemon. This makes them easier to train up to become powerful. Every trade won’t result in a lucky Pokemon, but there’s always a chance to get one, so there’s no better time than now to add a friend and try your luck.

Complete Your Pokdex In The Wild
This one really ramps up the difficulty level. The basic idea is: Don’t hatch anything and don’t evolve anything. Instead, catch everything in the wild. Obviously, it can’t include the Gen 2 babies, since they’re only available through hatching. Even so, the challenge is enormous.
When you consider how rarely some Pokémon like Muk spawn in many places, it’s about as hard an endeavor as I can imagine. Likewise catching Dragonair and Dragonite, Pupitar and Larvitar, Charizard and Amphoros… Yeah.
Okay I Have A Buddy Now What
Go for walks! No, really, now that you have a designated Buddy you should go on strolls. Similar to egg-hatching, you can gain Candy for your buddy the more kilometers you rack up. Interestingly, different Pokemon require you walk different distances. For example, you need to walk 3 kilometers before you get a Candy for Slowpoke. You only get one candy after walking that specific distance, though. You can find out more about your Buddy’s progress by tapping the Trainer profile icon, then tapping the top of the screen, where your Trainer and Buddy are hanging out. At the top of the screen you’ll see the total distance traveled. In the middle, you’ll see your Buddy . At the bottom, there’s a gauge that shows how far you still need to walk for a Candy.
