Hello ChannelFireball readers and welcome back to my Pokemon TCG collecting series! I hope you all enjoyed my last article on errors. If you have not given it a read already, I recommend doing so. As for todays article, it is sort of a follow up on my errors article, where I covered cards such as Blaines Charizard and BlastoiseBase Set. Those were some classic errors that are well known by now, but I did not get a chance to discuss some of the rarer and lesser-known oddities in that article since they are not errors. To me, though, they do fall under a similar umbrella, as they are just a different set of unique and collectible Pokemon cards. The ones on this list are going to be far rare and more expensive, though, which makes it a much rougher time on the collectors out there. That does not mean you cannot obtain them if you find yourself dead set on doing so! I believe in you. The new Appraisal feature is a great way to quickly discover how powerful your new Pokemon are. Finding out that an old favourite has a three star rating is incredibly gratifying.
Its especially useful for when youre comparing a bunch of the same Pokémon, as you can keep the stat appraisal screen open as you move between Pokémon. This allows you to quickly compare stats and star rankings as you try to decide which Pokémon to keep and which ones to release.
You can even search for Pokémon by their specific star tier, just like how you can search for them by name. To do this, youll need to search:
- 0* = 0 Stars
- 3* = 3 Stars
- 4* = 3 Stars with a red background / 100% Pokémon
The new ranking system makes it a lot easier to decide which Pokémon are worth investing your Stardust and Candy in. Though its still important to remember a Pokémons rarity and whether its one of the best Pokémon in the game.
Though by and large the closer to 100% this is the better, depending on the Pokémon, some individual stats are more important than others so it isnt the be all and end all.
For example, if you have a Snorlax one of the best creatures to put in a gym with its high health with a low HP stat, that makes it a less attractive proposition. But then again, because its rare, you might not have any alternative Snorlax to rely on. Of course, an average Snorlax will still perform better than others in its field, so it could still be worth Powering up.
How To Beat Ho Oh Pokemon Go
Ho-Oh is a strong and powerful Pokemon and to catch him during the event you should know about the counters and weaknesses, so if you dont know about these things then have a look at the weakness and counters of Ho Oh.
