Which Pokemon Should Slowpoke Evolve Into
When considering which of the Slowpoke evolutions are better, its important to consider which role they will likely play. Both evolutions have a 216 Stamina stat which, when paired with its 180 Defense, means that its a defensive tank.
Since this is the case, the Slowpoke evolutions will likely be used as a safe swap for a Great League team or part of a Gym Defense team.
As they have identical stats and typing, there is only one thing that Slowbro and Slowking dont share: moveset. They learn slightly different moves, which will decide which one is going to be preferred.
Of either moveset, Confusion or Psychic should be used. Confusion has a humongous DPS compared to other quick moves, and Psychic is both powerful and quick to charge. Slowking and Slowbro can be good Psychic-type attackers during raids because of this, but it will be outclassed by many other Psychic-types.
The big difference is the secondary charge moves: Slowking does not have great options here. Blizzard and Fire Blast will take forever to charge and neither adds great coverage. Both can indeed deal with Grass-type Pokemon, who are threats to Slowking, but by the time Blizzard or Fire Blast charges, the Grass-type will quickly have the KO lined up.
Slowbro also gets a Water STAB move in Water Pulse, something that is a gaping hole in Slowkings moveset. Of course, Water Pulse lacks in damage, but it will allow Slowbro to counter Fire-types, Rock-types and Ground-types.

Mega Slowbro will be appearing in raids for the first time ever and Galarian Slowpoke and Galarian Slowbro will also be arriving .
As with all new arrivals, players have questions, like is Galarian Slowbro good in Pokemon GO?
Well, here is the best Galarian Slowbro moveset, its max CP and how it performs in PVP modes.

First, lets cover the types. This ones a stalemate right off the bat, as both Galarian Slowbro and Galarian Slowking have the same typing: Poison/Psychic. This means their resistances break down like this:
- Weak against: Ground, Ghost, Dark
- Resistant to: Poison, Grass, Fairy
- Double-resistant to: Fighting
Next, the raw stats. Galarian Slowbro is packing a base attack of 182, base defense of 156, and base stamina of 216, all culminating in a level 40 max CP of 2,445. Galarian Slowking has the edge in this endeavor, packing a base attack of 190, base defense of 180, and base stamina of 216, adding up to a level 40 max CP of 2,717. To get Kings Rock in Pokemon Go and evolve Slowpoke into Slowking, you basically have to keep spinning Pokestops. Much like all other evolutionary items, they are a rare drop whenever you spin a Pokestop, and they can also be a reward for completing your seven-day streak. Sometimes, it can also be a reward for completing a research task or from boxes in the shop, but that all depends on whatever event might be going on at the time. The only surefire way of obtaining a Kings Rock is from Pokestops. May the gods of RNG look upon you benevolently.
Once you have a Kings Rock, youll need fifty Slowpoke Candy to complete the process. That should be a breeze if youre taking part in the , which the developers launched as a mea culpa for the whole glitch where Slowpokes would erroneously evolve into Slowbros instead of Slowkings. Once you have 50 Slowbro Candy and the Pokemon Go Kings Rock, you can evolve your Slowpoke into a Slowking as you would any other Pokemon. Note that, if you dont have a Kings Rock, you can only get a Slowbro.

So Is Galarian Slowbro Good
Its fine.
It may have a really small niche in PVP it can pick up some important wins against some key Pokemon and may throw your opponent off as you bring it out, however, it suffers against a lot of other Pokemon, so presents a big risk.
If you end up with one with decent IVs and have an abundance of Candies and Stardust, it could be fun to run with for a while. Just dont expect huge things.
Using The Move Rankings
Each Pokemon has a pool of Fast Moves and a pool of Charged Moves. Some moves might be better in one battle, and other moves might be better in another. For Trainer Battles, you’ll want know which moves will be the best ones to have in the most matchups. You might also want to know which Pokemon are the best candidates for a second Charged Move. The move details within each Pokemon ranking can help you determine that.
Moves are ranked using calculations primarily based on their damage and energy cost. Stat changes are also factored in. These calculations are run for each matchup, and then totaled across the format. Matchup weighting affects these numbers as well, so moves that would be used against significant meta targets will rank higher.
When looking at potential moves, keep an eye out for Pokemon that have a strong tendency toward a single Fast Move and a single Charged Move. These Pokemon will have their optimal moveset in the most matchups. On the other hand, some Pokemon see more balanced usage in their Charged Moves. This is where having a second Charged Move comes into play.
As an exercise, select any one Pokemon in the Team Builder tool and compare its battle histograms when it has one Charged Move and when it has two. If a second Charged Move improves its matchups, it might be one worth investing in.

Is Galarian Slowking Any Good In Pokemon Go
Considering how much time and effort youll need to put in to evolve it, Galarian Slowking is just not that great in Pokemon Go. It has the potential to fill a niche in the Ultra League thanks to its unique Poison/Psychic-typing, but not much else.
One of Galarian Slowkings biggest weaknesses is how expensive its Charged Move options are, meaning it simply wont be able to keep up with any opponents who can quickly access Charged Moves and easily take down shields.

Which Slowpoke Evolution Is Better In Pokemon Go: Slowbro Or Slowking
Trainers looking to evolve Slowpoke have an interesting dilemma since both of its evolutions are pretty good in Pokemon GO.
Slowbro used to be the only option that Slowpoke could evolve into. In Generation II, though, Slowking was introduced as an alternative. Both Pokemon are Water-type and Psychic-type, and they both have the same stats in Pokemon GO. Therefore, its a close competition as to which one is better.

In the top-level rankings, you’ll see a score for each Pokemon. This score is an overall performance number from 0 to 100, where 100 is the best Pokemon in that league and category. Different Pokemon may succeed in different scenarios, so use these categories to help determine when a particular Pokemon would be the most valuable.
Within each ranking, you’ll see four separate detail sections:
- Fast Moves – Which Fast Moves the Pokemon uses most in the league and category.

Max Cp And Meta Relevance
Galarian Slowbro has a tops out at a max 2445 CP when at level 40, or when powered up with XL Candies can reach 2764 CP.
Looking at PVP, Galarian Slowbro is unlikely to make too much of a splash.
In terms of the Great League, PVPoke ranks Galarian Slowbro as the 317th best pick in the division therefore, its not really worth considering. Although, it does pick up wins against some of the divisions more prominant Pokemon, including Asumarill, Deoxys, Bastiodon, Toxicroak and Umbreon, so offers an interesting possibility.
Galarian Slowbro does perform a little better in the Ultra League, however.
This time coming in at 180th, Slowbro picks up wins against Cresselia, Togekiss and Melmetal, all of which are fairly regular opposition.

Slowpoke has two transformations, Slowbro and Slowking, both of them powerful and suitable Pokémon to use. If you have to choose between the two, is Slowbro or Slowking superior to the other?
Galarian Slowking Best Moveset In Pokemon Go
The best moveset for Galarian Slowking in Pokemon Go is Confusion as a Fast Move and Shadow Ball as a Charged Move. Hex does have better energy generation, which is good for accessing some expensive Charged Moves, but Confusion wins by dealing more than double the damage.
As for Charged Moves, Shadow Ball is the cheapest option available for Galarian Slowking, dealing 100 damage for 55 energy, so that should be your primary choice. If you can afford a second Charged Move, Future Sight and Sludge Wave are fine options, as both benefit from STAB and cost the same.

Should You Purify Entei
I would say dont purify and just leave it as it is, as most probably you wont want to waste your RC and tons of stardust on him too. And theres speculation Niantic will eventually nerf the Shadow Bonus as its kind of broken and unfair to veterans that poured all their time and resources into the game.

Galarian Slowbro is a Poison and Psychic-type Pokémon. It has a maximum CP of 2,445, an attack of 155, a defense of 135, and a stamina of 182. If youre trying to use these two Pokémon in the Great or Ultra League, Galarian Slowbro is a solid choice in the Great League. Its not the best Pokémon, but its handy against Dark, Fairy, Grass, Ice, Normal, Rock, and Steel-type Pokémon. The best moveset to teach Galarian Slowbro is poison job for its fast move, and the charged moves focus blast and psychic.
Galarian Slowbro has several different types of attacks that make it beneficial against numerous Pokémon, boosting it up in the Great and Ultra Leagues. It also makes it a decent raid Pokémon for one or three-star raids.
