How To Get All Mega Stones – Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Eevee

Most Evolution Items are rewarded as rare drops from PokéStop spins. They can also be earned by completing certain Research, winning in the Pokémon Go Battle League, defeating the Leaders of Team GO Rocket, or participating in events. The elemental Lure Modules can also be purchased in the PokéShop.

How To Use The Magnetic Lure In Pokemon Go

The Magnetic Lure is one of three new types of lure in the game and it works much like a normal lure, with some slight modifications. For 30 minutes, extra Pokemon will be attracted to the lure, but while a normal lure can attract any type of Pokemon, a Magnetic Lure will only attract electric, steel, and rock type pocket monsters.

It’s also an evolution item! If you’re within the vicinity of a Poke Stop with a Magnetic Lure applied, you can evolve Magneton and Nosepass into Magnezone and Probopass respectively – provided you have enough candy, of course. If you don’t want to fork out 200 coins for one yourself, you could also wait until the next Pokemon Go Community Day and find someone else who’s used one!

How To Get Unova Stones Easily In Pokemon Go

There is only one way to get Unova Stones in Pokemon Go. To get Unova Stones, the player will need to complete their Research Task every week. At the end of completing tasks for 7 days , players will have a chance to find an Unova Stone as a reward. To make this task easier, make sure to complete Research Tasks every day. Also, make sure to do the easiest ones first. A good example is something simple like catching 3 Pokemon. These tasks can easily be completed, but the player will still need to wait to claim one each day. It can be time consuming, but currently, only 4 Pokemon in the game require this item to evolve.

Pokemon Go released back in 2016 and the world was met with peace. No violence, no chaos in the world, just thousands of people in the streets attempting to capture all 151 of these digital creatures. It also invited players to exercise and take in all that mother nature has to offer. Although, the game is still successful with it being inside only due to COVID-19. More content is planned for the future, including the introduction of more Pokemon. Players are heavily looking forward to going out into the world with their friends and participating in Community Days when things go back to normal.

Pokemon Go is available now on iOS and Android.

Spinning Gyms And Pokestops

In some cases, players can obtain the Unova Stone Pokémon GO from spinning Gyms and Pokestops. The probability of obtaining the item this way is low at approximately 1 percent per spin. Additionally, there is a change that you might not receive an Uvona Stone and instead get another evolution item. The probability is equally distributed between the five available items. But while there is no way to ensure that you drop a Unova stone when you spin, the odds are good with only four other items in play. In fact, your probability of getting the Uvona Stone will rise to 50 percent after you spin 250 Pokestops. This is not easier than the option of completing seven Research Tasks, but this option is also not guaranteed to yield the Stones.

When you do, youll need to combine the Dragon Scale with 100 Horsea Candies if you want to evolve Seadra into a Kingdra. You earn these candies in the traditional way Either you catch lots of Horsea with berries or you walk around with a Horsea as your Buddy Pokemon. You can also transfer spare Horsea to the Professor for candies Yknow, because youll probably have quite a few spare. Just make sure you check stats and appraise before you decide which Seadra to evolve!

How To Get Mega Energy In Pokmon Go

Mega Energy is specific to each individual Pokémon – similar to how Candy works in the game. So if you want to Mega Evolve a Bulbasaur into Mega Bulbasaur, you need Bulbasaur Mega Energy.

Mega Energy is primarily found from completing Mega Raids, a type of Raid encounter featuring Mega Pokémon. The faster you win a Mega Raid, the more Mega Energy you receive and this amount was then increased in September 2020 thanks to feedback from players.

It’s also been confirmed as a reward in certain Special Research rewards you can receive Mega Energy for Beedrill, for example, by completing ‘A Mega Discovery’. Since Mega Energy is specific to each type of Pokémon, we suspect there will be more ways to get Mega Energy over time as they rotate in and out of Raids – though that is speculation on our part.

On Thursday, 3rd September 2020, Niantic announced that it was working on a number of adjustments to improve how Mega Energy is earned in Pokémon Go. These new Mega Energy earning methods include:

  • Additional ways to earn Mega Energy from research tasks
  • Walking with your buddy

Niantic also announced that it was working on an adjustment that would allow you to earn bonus Candy when you caught a Pokémon that shared the same type as your Mega-Evolved Pokémon.

Pokemon Go: How To Get Unova Stones And Other Evolutionary Items

Pokemon GO’s collection of items that evolve Pokemon has steadily grown over the game’s tenure, and this is no different for the Unova Stone.

Integral to evolving certain Pokemon from the Unova Region of the Pokemon: Black and White games, Unova Stones can be obtained via breakthroughs in research and by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders.

Research breakthroughs can be achieved by finishing daily research tasks, earned by spinning the Pokestop discs.

Once seven research tasks have been completed and their stamps collected, Pokemon GO trainers will have a chance to earn a Unova Stone.

Where Should You Use Your Unova Stones

Unova Stones and other evolutions items were first introduced to Pokémon Go during the second generation. Now, they are a must-have for evolving certain Pokémon, such as the ones we have mentioned above. You should note that the stone is usually consumed when you use it to evolve a Pokémon so, if you only have a few, you should be deliberate about how you use them. Of all the Unova-evolved Pokémon, the strongest is the fire and ghost-like Chandelure. It can come in handy if you arm it with Shadow Ball and Hex when facing ghosts.

How To Use Unova Stones

How to get Mega Stones Pokemon Lets go

Since Unova Stones are difficult to contain and require a lot of screen time and task completion, it is only prudent that, once you obtain them, you use them wisely. It would be a shame to waste your Stones on weak Pokémon after working so hard to get them. Here are some ideas for how to use your Unova Stones on Pokémon Go the best way possible: Your first use of the Stones should be to evolve Lampent into Chandelure. This is by far the best use of this item because Chandelure is one of the best ghost types in Pokémon Go. If possible, use your Stones to evolve this Pokémon fast unless you have another ghost type with high stats. A close second is the Giratina. As your second option, you can evolve Panpour into Simipour, Pansear into Simisear, or Pansage into Simisage. These pairings are all pure types, regional exclusives that offer good move set potentials. You can even choose which pair to evolve if you travel or trade. As a last resort, you can evolve Cinccino or Eelektross. These Pokémon are very weak and would not be a great use of your Unova Stones. However, they are a viable option.

How To Get Unova And Sinnoh Stones In Pokmon Go

Better get to grinding if you want to evolve your Pokémon.

Certain Pokémon require different circumstances to be met before they can evolve, such as trading them, giving them an item, or even simply leveling them up through battle.

But in Pokémon Go, things are set up a little differently because you dont gain experience through battling or use items in the same way that you would in the main series of games.

Specifically, for Pokémon that originate from the Sinnoh or Unova regions, there are special regional stones that you can use to achieve those evolutions in combination with the typical Stardust usage. These items are called the Sinnoh Stone and Unova Stone, and they only work on Pokémon that are from these respective regions.

This is a simple mechanic that replaces the need for multiple stones and other items in the game, making it easy to obtain any special evolution. This works for stone evolutions like Roselia to Roserade, Pokémon that require a specific move to evolve like Piloswine to Mamoswine, and even held item trade evolutions like Electabuzz to Electivire.

But even though the mechanic is easy to use, the stones themselves are a little harder to come by then some of the more basic items in the game.

Pokmon Go: Sinnoh Stone Evolution Guide

Sinnoh Stones are an incredibly rare evolutionary item in Pokémon GO. There are 18 Pokémon in total that evolve by using Sinnoh Stones.

A handful of Pokémon Go creatures can only evolve when using Sinnoh Stones. These are among the many kinds of evolutionary items available in the game. In Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, new evolutions of classic Pokémon were introduced into the series. Pokémon like Sneasel and Swinub received evolutions with Weavile and Mamoswine. While in the mainline game, each Pokémon from Sinnoh had a different method for evolution, Pokémon Go streamlined it by placing it in a single item, the Sinnoh Stone.

Finding Sinnoh Stones in Pokémon Go can be pretty tricky as these are typically only given to players as part of a special event. They usually feature a Timed Research Task that would provide players with a free Sinnoh Stone when completed. Although, it is possible to earn Sinnoh Stones from PvP battles. When battling against an AI, trainers will be given rewards once per day. If trainers battle against other players, they can do this three times per day to earn rewards. It’s still luck-based, but battling is a player’s best bet to earn more Sinnoh Stones.

Get Sinnoh Stones Through Research Breakthroughs

Field research is a part of the reward system in Pokemon Go. The menu can be found by clicking the binoculars symbol in the bottom right corner and swiping over to the ‘Field’ tab.

There, you get simple tasks to perform. Completing a task will provide a stamp and once you’ve earned seven stamps there’s a “Research Breakthrough.”

The small tasks provide simple rewards but will never provide Sinnoh Stones. However, there is a reasonable chance that the Research Breakthrough will reward you with a Sinnoh Stone. Since it takes seven days to do, though, you’ll only get one shot per week – maximum.

This weeks Spotlight Hour in Pokémon Go has showered the world with Horseas and Seadra, which are perfect for evolving into Kingdra assuming you can find a Dragon Scale.

Evolving Horsea all the way to Kingdra is no mean feat. Pokémon Go makes it very challenging, asking first for 25 Horsea Candies to evolve to Seadra, then another 100 candies plus a Dragon Scale to evolve to Kingdra.

Thankfully, Pokémon caught during Spotlight Hour yield twice as many candies as normal, meaning that one half of evolving Horsea into Seadra and the Kingdra is easy. But how to get a Dragon Scale?

How Evolution Stones Work

Evolution Stones are one-use items that will instantly evolve a single Pokémon. There are nine types in total, at least one of each on the overworld with the exceptions being the Sun Stone and Moon Stone, but you can get multiple of each type if you need them by hunting for them in the Grand Underground. Once used, you cant cancel an evolution or reverse it, so the commitment is permanent.
