Create The Form With Basic Shapes

Everything can be broken down into basic shapes, like circles, squares, and triangles. Creating these shapes at the start helps build a strong foundation for your composition.
I find it easiest to start with the head, which for Eevee, is like a boxy circle. Its ears almost resemble rounded diamonds, and the body is like a tear-drop. The fur around its neck is pretty bouncy, so its more like a stretched out heart or tear shape. The legs and paws are rectangular. With these basic shapes in place, we can start to add some details to the design.

Adding Details In The Sketch Layer
Many artists will agree that the next step is to create a sketch to get the basic details in place, like the face, fur, and other features. This is also a great time to do any resizing and changes. I find this to be the most fun part of the experience, as it lets me experiment and be messy since I am going to draw over it again later. This process can be as detailed or simple as you like, as long as the idea of what you want is down and ready to be redrawn more cleanly later on.
For those drawing on a tablet or with an art program, I recommend lowering the opacity of the base we made earlier. On Procreate, this can be done by pressing the N button in the layers tab, and moving the Opacity bar to the left. The shapes should still be visible, but it will make it easier to see your sketch over the shapes

How To Draw Eevee From Pokemon
Use the videos and step-by-step drawing instructions below to learn how to draw Eevee from Pokemon. Stay tooned for more tutorials!
The written step-by-step video tutorial:
Intro: Start off with a pencil sketch. In the beginning stages, dont press down too hard. Use light, smooth strokes for sketching.
Step 1: Draw a big circle as a guide for Eevee’s head. First draw four small marks to indicate the height and width of the circle, then connect the marks using curved lines. Sketch lightly at first so that it’s easy to erase if you make a mistake. But the circle doesn’t have to be perfect. It’s just a guide. If you do want a perfect circle, trace the outer rim of a glass, a lid or any other object with a circular edge.
Step 2: Draw a curved vertical line across the head. This is a construction line that will help you place Eevee’s facial features later. Add a curved horizontal line near the bottom edge of the circle for another construction line.
Step 3: Draw a long, diagonal line on the top left side of the head as a guide for Eevee’s first ear. Draw another line on the right as a guide for the other ear. Pay attention to the length of these lines in relation to the head.
Step 4: Draw a curved line under the head as a guide for the front part of this Pokemon’s body. The shape should be similar to a half-circle. The half-circle should be smaller than Eevee’s head.
Step 5: Draw a C-shaped line on the left side as a guide for the back portion of Eevee’s body.
