How Can You Tell Which Exact Pokmon Is In An Egg

POKÉMON GO NEWS! EGG POOL SHAKE-UP REVEALED VERIZON PARTNERSHIP W/NIANTIC!

You can’t. Not until you hatch it. While Pokémon Go determines what you’re getting in an Egg the moment the Egg is granted, until that Egg hatches, there is no way to tell for sure what is inside.

That means it doesn’t matter where you are or what you do after you get an Egg. What’s inside is already decided. It’s also why, when Pokémon Go makes a change to Eggs for an event or any other reason, it won’t affect Eggs you already have, only ones you get from that point on. This is especially important for players trying to hatch Regional Pokémon from Eggs. If you don’t pick up the Egg in the particular region where that Pokémon can be found, it cannot be in the Egg.

However, as of April 2021, players can see the complete pool of possible Pokémon in an Egg. The pool will reflect what could be in that Egg at the time it was picked up, so two 5 KM Eggs picked up a month apart will have different pools.

Reddit Theories About Increasing The Chance Of Getting 10km Eggs In Pokemon Go

Disclaimer: This section of the article discusses Pokemon GO theories found on reddit which may or may not work for every player.

For trainers looking for ways to get extra 10km eggs and pass up on other variations, there may be a method in doing so. According to the Pokemon GO community group known as The Silph Road, a poster named EveeNic conducted testing regarding the repetition of Pokestops.

In their observation, they noticed that if they didnt repeat Pokestops and moved along them in a loop, they received more 10km eggs. However, the poster stipulated that the entire loop must take roughly two hours to repeat.

Its unclear if this theory is concrete, but if Pokemon GO trainers would like to try it themselves, they may earn more 10km eggs as a result. According to EveeNic, all that is required is for them to move along and hit a Pokestop once, then move to the next one and continue in that fashion.

No Pokestop should be repeated until after two hours have elapsed, and should not be farmed. This may be much more difficult for trainers in more rural areas, but those who have many Pokestops nearby can plot out a route to spin.

Pokemon Go 7km Egg List

The 7km Eggs tend to change depending on in-game events.

When events haven’t changed what Pokemon are available inside 7km eggs, they are typically based around Galarian and Alolan Pokemon. Both regions have yet to be officially introduced into Pokemon GO. However, Sword and Shield week in Pokemon GO is right around the corner.

Update: Preview Eggs In Pokmon Go

As of April 2021, players can now see the possible contents of each Egg they pick up. By tapping on an Egg in your Egg Storage, it will display the possible contents before you place the Egg in an Incubator. This doesn’t change the contents of the Eggs. Just like before, the contents are determined when you pick up an Egg, but now you can see the pool of potential Pokémon from when you picked it up.

Pokmon Go Regional Exclusives Map And How Regional Exclusives Work In Pokmon Go

Each generation of Pokémon has several creatures you can only find in specific regions. These can be specific countries , entire continents , certain regions and even ‘halves’ of the planet .

These creatures are fairly common spawns in these regions, so if you are visiting for a short period, it won’t take long to find them.

Regionals can be found spawning in the wild – so don’t expect them in gyms or in nests. From September 2019, regionals have also been made available in Eggs – but only from their respective regions. This is also the only way to get Mime Jr., the Gen 4 pre-evolution to Gen 1’s regional exclusive Mr Mime.

If you don’t travel, then don’t fret. Gen 3 has shown these creatures can swap round occasionally or drop regional exclusivity altogether and as mentioned above, shift temporarily for special events, such as Farfetch’d during Pokémon Go’s 2017 Travel Challenge.

Below you’ll find a map of all the regional exclusive Pokémon in Pokémon Go:

How To Get 10km Eggs In Pokemon Go

Equinox Egg Pool and Rarity analysed by The Silph Road ...

Pokemon GO trainers do plenty of traveling, and it never hurts to have a few eggs in the incubator during the journey, especially 10-kilometer eggs.

Eggs in Pokemon GO come in different varieties and require different travel distances before they hatch, and 10-kilometer eggs can yield some truly special Pokemon that trainers won’t often see in the wild.

These eggs in particular are obtained the same way 2 and 5-kilometer eggs are ordinarily obtained: By spinning the photo discs of Pokestops. Additionally, 10-kilometer eggs can be rewarded for trainers that use the Adventure Sync function and travel at least 50 kilometers in one week.

Pokmon Go Eggs And How To Hatch Them Faster

Pokémon Go isn’t just about catching Pokémon hatching is a big part of the game as well. You get Pokémon Go Eggs from spinning PokéStops, from friend gifts, as a reward for being especially active, and even from defeating the Leaders of Team GO Rocket. Then you incubate them by walking with them for 2 KM, 5 KM, 7 KM, 10 KM, or even 12 KM. Once you’ve walked the specified distance, Pokémon will hatch from those Eggs, but each type of Egg has different Pokémon that can hatch and those possible Pokémon change often. Luckily, we here at iMore know exactly what can hatch from any Pokémon Egg, and be sure to check out our best Pokémon Go accessories, so you can be fully equipped on your Pokémon Journey!

Equinox Egg Pool And Rarity Analysed By The Silph Road

Researchers behind The Silph Road, a Pokémon GO subreddit, have managed to collect and analyse more than 900 Equinox event egg hatches, documenting each hatch meticulously.

Their discoveries are summarised in the following info graphic:

According to the official TSR post, these are the current Egg Pools:

  • 2km eggs: Chansey, Larvitar, , Oddish, Remoraid, Slowpoke, Togepi, and Tyrogue.
  • 5km eggs: Eevee, Grimer, Horsea, Houndour, Kabuto, Mankey, Omanyte, Pineco, Pinsir, Scyther, Stantler and Teddiursa.
  • 10km eggs: Aerodactyl, Dratini, Lapras, Miltank, Porygon, Snorlax and Sudowoodo.

Bold indicates a different distance group from the pre-event egg pool

Another redditor provided an explanation why other species were observed in the early hours of the event:

My theory is that double dust started just before they switched eggs. This explains all the people saying they cleared their eggs and got 10kms with event Pokemon. If they switched it a few hours into the event, all eggs in that first few hours are after the start of the event but before the species were moved to 2km eggs.

I have yet to see any proof of species hatching from multiple egg classes and anecdotally, the dozen or so 10km eggs I have hatched have all been porygon/sudo/aerodactyl.

These hatches are relevant for Eggs picked up from 1:00 P.M. PDT on September 22 to 1:00 P.M. PDT on October 3, 2017 and it seems that not only 2KM eggs are special.

Everything You Need To Know About Pancham

Pancham was released into Pokémon Go after players worldwide managed to complete the Global Challenge of catching 500 million fairy-type Pokémon during the Luminous Legends X event.

Pancham can evolve into Pangoro through the use of 50 Pancham Candy and catching 32 dark-type Pokémon. This evolution method is a reference to how, in the main-line games, Pancham is evolved by reaching Level 32 and having at least one dark-type Pokémon in your team.

Both Pancham and Pangoro are clearly inspired by pandas Pancham itself is based upon a giant panda cub, while Pangoro is drawn from the giant panda.

THE EGG POOL NEEDS A CHANGE! (Pokémon GO)

Besides catching Pokemon in Pokemon Go, you can also get them by hatching Eggs.

Currently, there are 6 types of Eggs in Pokemon Go, and you can hatch Pokemon by putting an Egg into an incubator and walk the required distance. You can obtain Eggs from PokeStops by spinning the disc, from Gyms, gifts, defeating a Team GO Rocket Leader, or as a reward for being an active player. There are 2km, 5km, 7km, 10km, and 12km Eggs, and the Adventure Sync Eggs.

Each of the above-mentioned Eggs has a different pool of Pokemon that can hatch from them, and the interesting thing is that the pool is constantly changing.

To make things easier for everyone, we made a list of Pokemon that can currently hatch from every available type of Egg.

How Fast Can You Walk To Hatch A Pokmon Egg

It’s currently believed the optimal speed for hatching a Pokémon Go is 10.5 KM/H . Go slower, and it’ll just take you longer to hatch. Go faster, and Pokémon Go will discount the distance you’re traveling or, if you go fast enough, ignore it altogether.

If you reach 35 KM/H , you’ll get the speed-lock popup. At that point, little if any of your distance will be counted.
