Pokémon: Lets Go will also feature its share of legendary Pokémon, those that only appear once in the game. Mew was originally a secret Pokémon in Pokémon: Red & Blue, but can be obtained by purchasing a Poké Ball Plus or transferring it from Pokémon Go.
The three legendary bird Pokémon from Red & Blue will return as well: Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno. Players will need to find them on their remote islands and defeat them in battle for a chance to catch them.
A brand-new legendary Pokémon, Meltan, can be obtained by transferring Pokémon from Pokémon Go to Lets Go. The first time a player connects their Switch to the mobile game, they will get a special item called a mystery box containing Meltan.

Pokemon Lets Go Moon Stones How To Use
Pokemon Lets Go Moon Stones are used just like any other evolutionary stone in Pokemon Lets Go. If you go to your Power-Up-Pocket, which is contained in your Bag, you can see all of the evolutionary stones in your inventory. Pokémon: Lets Go players can transfer Kanto-region Pokémon from Pokémon Go into their game, but wont be able to send creatures back to the mobile game. Pokémon transferred to Lets Go will appear in the Go Park, where players will need to catch them again to add them to their team.

How To Resurrect Fossils
Though you get these fossils very early on, you can’t actually revive them into full-fledged Pokemon until you reach Cinnabar Island.
Once you get there, head to Cinnabar Lab. It’s to the left of the Pokemon Center.
Go to the back corner on the right, and talk to the man in the lab coat there. He’ll resurrect your fossils into a Pokemon for you, including the Old Amber into Aerodactyl!

Pokemon Lets Go is finally out on the Nintendo Switch, and like all of the other mainline Pokemon games, there are evolution stones around Kanto that are required in order to evolve specific Pokemon. In this case, were going to tell you where you can find Moon Stones, which are needed to evolve these Pokemon: Nidarina, Nidorino, Clefairy, and Jigglypuff.
Okay, so in past Pokemon games, you would typically use a special tool called the Itemfinder to uncover hidden items that cant be seen unless you go up to a particular spot and press the A button. Since that item is not in Pokemon Lets Go, you have to use the help of your partner Pokemon, Pikachu and/or Eevee.
If you head to Mt. Moon, which is east of Pewter City, you can find two hidden Moon Stones. If you look at your partner Pokemons tail, if they wag it super quickly then thats how you know that there is a hidden item nearby. Face the wrong direction and their tail will stop wagging. Walk around Mt. Moon and pay close attention to your partners tail as you approach those craters that are all over the ground.
The Moon Stones are hidden in those craters and they respawn in different locations daily. Pay attention to the quickly wagging tails and youre bound to uncover a stone or two in the cave.
The Pok Ball Plus Is A Special Controller That Works With Both Pokemon Lets Go And Pokemon Go
Nintendo will release the a new device called the Poké Ball Plus alongside Pokémon: Lets Go. The Poké Ball Plus is primarily a controller that allows the game to be played with one hand. It functions as a single Joy-Con for the Nintendo Switch with two buttons and a small joystick in the center. Players can use the joystick to move around and can swing the poké ball at the screen when catching pokémon.The Poké Ball Plus also allows players to transfer a Pokémon to the device to be carried around with them, and the ball will glow different colors and make different sounds depending on what Pokémon is inside. Each Poké Ball Plus will come with the legendary Pokémon Mew inside.
The device doubles as a Pokémon Go Plus and can be paired with your smartphone to earn more rewards in the mobile game as well.

Pokémon: Lets Go returns to the Kanto region from the first games in the series, Pokémon Red & Blue. What Pokemon Evolve Using The Fire Stone
Most of the Pokemon that evolve via the Fire Stone were introduced in Gen 1, so you dont have to worry too much about missing out on anything unless you really like Simisear.
There are only three that use it to evolve and they are Growlithe into Arcanine, Vulpix into Ninetales and Eevee into Flareon.
A couple of important things you should know about. First, when a Pokemon evolves via a stone, they are done learning moves except in the case of Eevee. Eevee should be evolved ASAP if you want it to learn fire moves.
For everything else, try to make sure they level up as much as they can to the point where you have all the moves you want them to ever learn , before evolving them.
In the case of Lets Go Eevee, know that your starter Eevee cannot evolve. Only ones that you find in the wild can.

Legendary Pokmon Take Flight
To be fair, threeof the four Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon:Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’sGo, Eevee!Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltrescan be encountered before becomingthe Pokémon League Champion. But you need to decide whether you want to attemptto catch them before or after taking on the EliteFour. Unlike most wild Pokémon encounters in these games, you will have tobattle the Legendary Pokémon before attempting to catch them. Holding off onyour attempts gives your Pokémon team time to level up more, potentially makingthe battles easier. On the other hand, if you do manage to catch them beforearriving at the Indigo Plateau, you can bring them into your battles againstthe Elite Four.
Articuno can befound deep within the cave in the Seafoam Islands, which is located on Route 20along the southern edge of the Kanto region. This Ice- and Flying-type Pokémonhas a double weakness to Rock-type moves, but Fire-, Electric-, and Steel-type moveswill prove useful as well.
Zapdos hangs out atthe Power Plant, which can only be reached by using Sea Skim on Route 10 to reach the out-of-the-way facility. As anElectric- and Flying-type Pokémon, Zapdos is weak against Ice- and Rock-typemoves. Ground-type Pokémon won’t take damage from the Legendary Pokémon’sElectric-type moves, but at the same time, remember that Zapdos isn’t affectedby Ground-type moves.
How To Get A Moon Stone
Your first destination in getting a Moon Stone is actually to make it to Mt. Moon. This is the rocky tunnel area that you must pass through on your way from Pewter City to Cerulean City, and youre going to be exploring the area quite a bit if you want to get your hands on a Moon Stone at any point during your playthrough of Pokémon: Lets Go.
Once you make it to Mt. Moon, its time to head inside and start looking around for your fabled Moon Stone. Youll find the Moon Stone inside of a Poké Ball, which you can find several off littered around Mt. Moon. Of course, youre going to want to keep an eye out for these are you explore the tunnels and different floors, and always search the different nooks and crannies. If you want to minimize the amount of Pokémon you run into while searching, make sure you use a Repel to lower the amount of spawns youll see.
Of course, the Moon Stone is a very rare item, which means the chances of finding it along the top floors is going to be tough. Instead, head deeper and deeper into the mountain, searching for more Poké Balls as you go. If you explore the entirety of the mountain without coming up with anything, then make sure you return the next day after everything respawns for another chance to get it.

Like in past Pokémon games, players will need to overcome other trainers and gym leaders to progress through the game. Players can take up to six pokémon into battle and take turns choosing their attacks. Pokémon have different elemental weaknesses based on their type and each gym leader focuses on a specific type of Pokémon. As we mentioned above Mt. Moon is your first proper ‘dungeon’ in Pokémon Let’s Go – by which we mean a proper, big, self-contained area with lots of Pokémon, trainers, and items to find along the way.
How to make it through Mt. Moon
The Mount has a couple of main levels – an entrance level, and the basement level – as well as connecting level that only ever has a couple of corridors on it joining the entrance and the one below, but still features wild Pokémon and the like as you pass through it.
Progressing out the other side is actually simple enough: there are three ladders on the entrance level. You want to take the one in the top left, which is accessed by going all the way to the right of the entrance level, up to the top, and then along the top all the way to the far left, where there’s a Hiker in the middle of a crater and the man who’ll give you Poké Balls in the top left corner.

Keep An Eye On Your Partner For The Location Of The Moon Stone
There are multiple Moon Stones hidden in Mt. Moon and they will respawn on a daily basis. Youre going to use your partner Pokemon, either Pikachu or Eevee to find the Moon Stones in Mt. Moon. Keep an eye on the tail of Pikachu or Eevee while searching the area. Look for craters in particular but they are also located in other areas. Pikachu or Eevee will wag their tail more quickly when you are close to the location of a Moon Stone. Just remember that the faster they are wagging their tail the closer you are to the stones.
Other stones can be found for free in Pokemon Lets Go. You can find a free Ice Stone in Pokemon Tower. Theres a free Leaf Stone in the Virdian Forest. A free Water Stone is located on Route 12. If youve got some extra Poke Dollars, you can always head to the Celadon City Department Store and head to the 4th floor to buy Leaf, Fire, Water, Thunder, or Ice Stones.
