Which Eevee Evolution Is The Strongest

Which Is The Best Eevee Evolution In Pokmon Go

Who Is The STRONGEST Eeveelution In Pokemon?

Now that we have discussed each of the Eeveelutions in detail we can proceed to answer the big question. Well, to be honest, it is difficult to pick a single Pokémon and crown it the best Eevee evolution. This is because every Pokémon has its own set of pros and cons. Depending on what kind of player you are you might find one Pokémon better suited to you than others. It also depends on what other Pokémons you already have. For example, if you have a Charizard with a high IV then you would never want a Flareon.

Yet, if we have to go by the different stats and overall effectiveness in battle, Vaporeon might be the strongest Pokémon. It has pretty balanced stats with a wide variety of move sets. It can also learn a few nice moves and thus further increase the depth of its arsenal. Although it is a first-generation Pokémon, it fares well against some of the best fourth and sixth generation Pokémons.

However, we would also like to add that Sylveon is also a pretty strong contender for the first position. Once it is introduced in Pokémon Go it might just become the fan-favourite. This fairy type Pokémon has a lot of potentials and is a sixth-generation Pokémon it would obviously get higher preference to a first-generation Vaporeon.

What Are The Different Eevee Evolutions

As mentioned earlier, there are eight different evolutions of Eevee. However, all of these evolutions were not introduced in Pokémon Go from the very beginning. Only Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon were introduced in the first generation. Umbreon and Espeon came in the second generation, followed by Leafeon and Glaceon in the third generation. The last form, i.e. Sylveon is yet to be introduced in Pokémon Go. That being said lets take a closer look at each of these Eeveelutions closely.

As Eevee is the star of the , its time to plan what evolutions you want for your killer collection. But all Eevee evolutions are not created equal.

Each of Eevees eight evolutions has different stats and weaknesses. Knowing these will help you choose what to keep from your mega Community Day haul.

All eight Eeveelutions are now available in Pokémon GO: Sylveon, Umbreon, Espeon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafeon and Glaceon.

In the classic Pokémon games, this particular monster is able to evolve into different types depending on what special items you have, its happiness level, the moves it has unlocked and the time of day. Thankfully you dont have to jump through those kinds of hoops in Pokémon GO.

Instead, you can simply rename your Eevee to one of eight different names to guarantee a particular evolution, or employ some other tricks to get your desired Eevee evolution. There are a few caveats, but these methods definitely work.

Pokemon Go Community Day: How To Evolve Eevee Into Every One Of Its Evolutions

Pokemon GO

The shiny Eevees are out in force for Pokemon GOs Eevee Community Day, giving trainers around the world a shot at that elusive prize: a full collection of all 9 Eevee family shinies. But if you want to get Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon, Sylveon and Eevee, youll need to make use of a couple of tricks to make it happen. Heres how to do that. Ive published some of this info before, but it never hurts to have a refresher.

The simplest way of getting a specific evolution is to just change your Pokemons nickname. Each evolution has a nickname tied to it, and you can use that to guarantee a single evolution. So if youve already used this trick on a given account, it wont work again. So while this will likely be less useful for most, here are those:

  • Flareon: Pyro
  • Glaceon:;Rea
  • Sylveon:;Kira

After that, most of the evolutions have an alternate, more involved method for forcing the evolution. Here are those:

  • Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon:;These ones are pure RNG, so best of luck.
  • Umbreon:;Walk an Eevee 10km as your buddy, then evolve it at night while its still your buddy. Update: this requires no walking distance during community day, just equip as your buddy at night and evolve.

Best Eevee Evolutions Of All Time

Since everyone is suddenly in a Pokemon mood thanks to the release of Pokemon GO and Sun and Moon, old arguments are now back at the surface, including which Eeveelution reigns supreme?

So we decided to make an attempt on putting that everlasting argument to rest by deciding which is the best Eevee evolutions you can possibly get your hands on.

How To Rename Eevee To Evolve Into Sylveon Leafeon Glaceon Umbreon Espeon Vaporeon Jolteon And Flareon

Ranking All the Eeveelutions Weakest to Strongest

Evolving Eevee using the required 25 Eevee candy will produce a random evolution. However, you can control which type it turns into by renaming the monster beforehand:

  • Rename Kira to evolve into Fairy-type Sylveon
  • Rename Linnea to evolve into Grass-type Leafeon
  • Rename Rea to evolve into Ice-type Glaceon
  • Rename Sakura to evolve into Psychic-type Espeon
  • Rename Tamao to evolve into Dark-type Umbreon
  • Rename Rainer to evolve into Water-type Vaporeon
  • Rename Sparky to evolve into Electric-type Jolteon
  • Rename Pyro to evolve into Fire-type Flareon

There are some caveats here. This only works one time per evolution, so if you plan to use your Eeveelution in battle, make sure youve chosen an Eevee with favourable stats. The naming trick is currently the only guaranteed way to evolve Vaporeon, Jolteon or Flareon once youve done it once, itll be up to random chance if you get another, regardless of what youve named it.

There are tricks to reliably evolving the other Eevee varieties more than once, though

How To Evolve Into Espeon And Umbreon

The first time you want to get your hands on Espeon and Umbreon, you can use the name trick detailed above. Evolve an Eeevee called Tamao to get an Umbreon, or an Eevee named Sakura to evolve it into Espeon. After that, youll need to evolve them the old-fashioned way, by completing certain goals.

For Espeon and Umbreon, you can also evolve into them based on their in-game method of evolution in Pokemon Gold and Silver back on the Game Boy based on the time of day. In order to do this, youll first need to build a relationship with your Eevee. Set them as your buddy Pokemon and walk with them as much as you can.

Once youve walked 10km with that Eevee as your buddy Pokemon, its ready to evolve into either Epseon or Umbreon. Just evolve in the day for Espeon and night for Umbreon and this isnt limited, you can do it as often as you like!

Pokemon Go Sylveon Nickname Trick

First up is the nickname trick you can use to get either your very first Sylveon to tick it off the Pokedex, or save until you have a shiny/100% Eevee you want to dedicate to be the best Sylveon possible.

If youre unsure how this works, all you have to do is change the nickname of the Eevee you want to evolve to Kira. The question mark in the evolve button should change to a silhouette of Sylveon ;if you do not see that silhouette, do not press evolve and instead restart your app then try again. This is a one-time use trick so once youve used the name Kira once, youll have to follow the method below for any more Sylveons you want to add to your collection.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon In Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go currently has Pokemon from several generations… and the most recent Eevee Evolution added to the game is Sylveon, a Pokemon added in generation 6. In the main Pokemon games, Sylveon evolves based off your Affection and Friendship stats, which maps to the Pokemon Buddy Feature that Pokemon Go has.

First of all, the nickname trick continues to work with Sylveon. To get it first, take an Eevee and rename it to Kira – then evolve it. The first time you do this, you’ll get a Sylveon. After this, however, you’ll have to evolve into Sylveon in the traditional way, as this is a one-time trick per eeveelution.

For further chances to evolve Eevee to Sylveon, you’ll need to get 70 Buddy Hearts with an Eevee – which puts your relationship with that Pokemon at the ‘Great Buddy’ level. After this, you simply need to evolve that Eevee with 25 Eevee candy, and you’ll get the fairy-type Sylveon in return.

All of these work with the Flower Crown Eevee or Shiny Eevee – so you can use these tricks to get yourself a Shiny Sylveon or a Flower Crown Sylveon.

However, once you use this it cannot be done again, so save this for an Eevee that you are sure you want to be whatever you name them in the list below. Pokemon Go: The Strongest Eevee Evolution

Eevee is incredibly diverse in Pokemon GO due to its many evolutions, each with their own respective role and effectiveness in battle.

Determining the best “Eeveelution” depends on what situation it applies to. However, if measured by base stats, Pokemon GO players can zero in on which evolutionary form stands out above the rest as a damage dealer. Too many other factors are at play to truly dictate which Eeveelution is superior across the board, but from a purely attacking standpoint in raids and Battle League, Espeon currently holds the top spot in Pokemon GO.

    Pokemon GO Eevee Evolutions

Eevee Evolution is meant to be a random process in Pokemon Go. Once you press evolve on an Eevee, you have a random chance of getting one of the original three eeveelutions. The others can be obtained through other means, all of which require a bit of effort. There’s also some useful shortcuts and cheats of a sort to get around the random factor. We’ll detail all of that below.

There’s seven Eevee Evolutions in the game so far. Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon from generation 1 are completely down to random chance. Umbreon and Espeon from generation 2 and Leafeon and Glaceon from generation 3 are obtained in specific ways. The final Eevee Evolution is Sylveon, from generation 6, and it was finally added to the game in May 2021.

So, which Eevee Evolution do you want? You’ll want to carefully consider this – each evolved form of Eevee is a different type, so you’ll want to consider strengths and weaknesses with our Pokemon Go Type Chart, at least. Plus which you think is cutest.

It seems that naming Eevee is not the only way to determine its evolution. There is actually another way to evolve Eevee into Espeon and Umbreon, which we’ll detail below:

    • First, your Eevee must have 10KMs walked and 2 Candy collected as your Buddy
    • The Eevee must be set as you Buddy during Evolution
    • Evolve Eevee at Night to get Umbreon
    • Evolve Eevee during the Day to get Espeon

How To Get And Use The Glacial Lure & Mossy Lure To Get Glaceon And Leafeon

The final current Eeveelutions available in Pokemon Go are Glaceon and Leafeon, and this duo has the most specific evolution method yet.

First of all, don’t forget that you can do the name trick once again to get Glaceon and Leafeon for the first time. As detailed above, name your Eevee Rea to have it evolve to Glaceon, and name your Eevee Linnea to have it evolve to Leafeon. After that, however, you’ll need to fulfil special requirements to evolve more of these Pokemon.

Specifically, in order to evolve more Eevee into Glaceon or Leafeon, you’ll need some new items: the Glacial Lure and the Mossy Lure. These two new types of Lure Module are available in the shop and will soon be appearing as Field Research Rewards. These lures exist to make you more able to catch different Pokemon – the Glacial lures in Water and Ice type Pokemon, while the Mossy attracts Bug and Grass types.

There’s an added benefit to these, however: when they’re placed, they can impact Eevee Evolution. Simply place one of the lures in a Pokestop; if you place the Mossy Lure you’ll be able to evolve any Eevee you have into Leafeon while standing in that Pokestop’s radius . If you place the Glacial Lure on a Pokestop, that’s when you’ll be able to evolve into Glaceon – just remain within the Pokestop’s radius. This works even if you didn’t place the lure, too, so you can share this chance with other players.
