Connect Pokemon Go To Nintendo Switch SOLUTION! (Plus Catching Meltan)

You can only transfer Pokémon from Sword and Shield, Lets Go, Pikachu, Lets Go, Eevee, and Pokémon Bank into Pokémon Home.

Deposited Sword and Shield Pokémon can be retrieved from Home, but Nintendo notes that Lets Go, Pikachu and Lets Go, Eevee Pokémon cannot be returned when moved to Sword and Shield.

As for Pokémon Bank, you must be enrolled to the Premium Plan for it to be compatible. Nintendo warns that Pokémon moved from Bank to Home cannot be returned.

Pokémon Go is an obvious absentee from the list of compatible games, but you can least transfer its Pokémon to Lets Go, Pikachu and Lets Go, Eevee.

How To Get Meltan

Although the transfer from Go to Let’s Go is one way, you do get a bonus in Go for doing it: a Mystery Box. This item allows you to catch Meltan, a new Pokemon that currently is only catchable in Go and can be transferred into Let’s Go. You can read our full guide on how to catch Meltan and its evolved form, Melmetal, for more details.

What Is Pokemon Home

Pokemon Home is basically a Cloud service, where your Pokemon from all the other Pokemon games can gather. It is available for Nintendo Switch, and other compatible mobile devices. The idea of being able to gather all the favorite Pokemon came up in Pokémon Silver and Gold with the Time Capsule, which evolved into the Pokemon Bank later. Pokemon Home is simply an newer and better Pokemon Bank, which is compatible with a variety of games icnluding Pokemon Go and the Nintendo switch games .

However there are some limitations on which Pokemon you can transfer to Pokemon Home. Another thing to be kept in mind is that once you transfer a Pokemon to Pokemon Home, you cannot get it back in Pokemon Go. The transferred Pokemon will be added to the National Pokedex, and this is where you can view all your transferred Pokemon from various Pokemon games.

Even though you can’t transfer to and from Pokemon GO, you can still use your mobile device to move Pokemon from Bank to Home. Here’s what you should be running to do that:

  • Apple iOS 9 or newer
  • Android 6.0 or newer, 64-bit

Unfortunately, no. The Pokémon you first caught two decades ago are forever trapped on those original Game Boy cartridges or on Pokémon Stadium. Of course, using various shady tactics and compromised hardware, enterprising Poké Trainers have been known to dump their original saves from the Game Boy carts, upload them to the 3DS Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red and Blue, and then move those to Pokémon Bank, but we shall not delve into those dark arts here.

No, it seems that Stinkypoo the Pikachu, Wormy the Weedle and Metapoo the Metapod will die on our Game Boy carts along with the battery. Probably for the best, to be honest.

How To Play Pokmon Go: Spotting The Pokmon

How to: connect to Nintendo Switch (pokemon go)

Pokémon Go uses GPS coordinates as your in-game character walks around a real-world map according to your physical location.;

Once youre done setting up your character, you will see yourself on a map, surrounded by some Pokémon. On the bottom left corner of the screen, you will see your username and avatars of you and your buddy Pokémon .;

The Pokéball in the middle triggers a menu, where you can open your Pokédex, battle, shop, view your Pokemon and any additional items. On the bottom right corner, you can spot a binoculars icon, which should indicate any challenges that you can complete as part of a quest or during a special event.

Below that icon, theres a small white bar that features three shadows of Pokemon. Tap on it in order to reveal those Pokémons locations at a few checkpoints near you. Each location has a real-life photograph attached to it and by selecting it, the map should show you how to get there.;

Pokemon should appear all around you on a map, though their quantity and type will vary depending on your location, the weather and if youre near a Pokéstop. As you can see on the screenshot above, I was surrounded by four Bidoofs . Now, ideally, you would be catching as many Pokémon as you can in order to gain more XP points, but if youre being picky or if youre doing a challenge, go ahead and select one that meets your eye.;

Now lets move onto the next stage: catching em.

Pokemon Go Features In Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu And Eevee

There are a lot of similarities between Pokemon Go and Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee. The game implements several features from the AR app, and both can interact with each other. Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee features a map which is similar to the one in Pokemon Go, with Pokemon appearing as the trainer walks around. Players can select which pokemon they want to battle as they move around the game world. The capturing system is also heavily inspired by the one in Pokemon Go. When facing a pokemon, a white circle appears around it. Players must then use the Joy-Con to throw a Poke Ball and hit somewhere inside the white circle. Just like in Pokemon Go, there are additional circles which players can hit in order to receive bonuses and capture pokemon more easily.

    How To Switch Accounts In Pokemon Go

That said, though, I can think of a few reasons why you might, which might necessitate needing to know how to switch accounts in âPokemon Go.â Maybe you decided you want to experience each of the different teams first-hand; maybe you missed getting Pikachu as your starter Pokemon and want to give capturing this fan favorite a shot; heck, maybe you just decided you donât like your avatarâs outfit. Whatever your thought process? Well, you do you. Thatâs what Iâm saying.

    Before we get started, though, there are a couple of things you need to know about âPokemon Goâ accounts. First, each âPokemon Goâ account needs to be hooked up to a unique Gmail address or Pokemon Trainer Club account, so you canât run two different accounts from the same email or from the same trainer club account. But given how easy it is to set up new email accounts, you could hypothetically have an unlimited number of âPokemon Goâ accounts â youâd just need to make sure you can keep all your login info straight.

    As for most problems these days, the good old-fashioned turn off turn on tactic works in this case as well. Make sure youve disconnected the Joy-Con controllers from the Switch and disconnect all connected Bluetooth devices from the mobile device.

    It is very important to enable all application permissions for Pokemon Go. Then you need to reset the mobile device and Switch and you should be ready to catch some Pokemon.

    Combining Pokemon Go and Lets Go is actually a great move. Aside from collecting more XP, you no longer need to grind Charmander from scratch but just simply transfer the wicked Charizard to the Switch and continue winning battles.You catch Pokemon with a Poké ball. A real, tangible Poké ball. Okay, somewhat real. Well done, Nintendo, good move! With a distinctive vibe of old Pokemon games, this game takes me back to my childhood. The Pokemon phenomenon won over peoples hearts all around the globe. From simple Gameboy screens to augmented reality. Its fascinating to observe the game evolve throughout the years.
