Not Great For Collectors

Pokemon Card Collector on Instagram: Tribe of noise https://rss.app ...

Ive been collecting Pokémon cards since 2017. I downloaded this app because I thought it was going to have everything. When I downloaded it at the time, it was just Sun & Moon. But theyve added support for X& Y and of course Sword & Shield. I used Pokéllector to track my cards before and now I still have to keep it on standby because this app only includes everything X& Y and above and nothing else. They do have the promos but they never seem to update them. Theres also some gaps in the Sun & Moon promo lists. So its incomplete. Not to mention bugs and glitches are very common. Stuff like removing your tracking info, and recently, the app thinks that the Sword & Shield promos are no apart of Detective Pikachu and you must scan them to unlock them. If you do though, you get an exclusive art piece, which is just a white box with the detective pikachu logo on it. So if your a collector, especially one thats been collecting for a long time. Just get Pokéllector and stay away from this app.

Poke Genieiv Pvp & Raid Guide

This app displays on top of Pokémon GO to give you extra information about the statistics of Pokémon you catch. It will even generate Pokémon nicknames for you that include the Pokémon’s most important stats. This makes them much quicker to reference in your collection.

Poke Genie includes a Pokédex and tools for checking move sets, IVs, and calculating CP requirements. It also helps you prepare for battle with a matchup guide, team builder, and battle simulator!

Pokémon GO differs from core Pokémon games in terms of how you train Pokémon, what makes them powerful, and how to assemble a strong team. This tool is great for helping players who are used to the core series adjust to the changes.

Collector For Pokemon Tcg

Next on the list, Collector is a well-received TCG app with a 4.1 rating on the Apple app store. It has a very large database ranging from Fossil up to the latest expansions. Apart from adding your card collections, you also have the option to import and export them so that you can share them with other users.

The app automatically displays the HP, attacks, evolutions and other stats when you simply click on a card to open it up. It even lets you know the lowest price of a certain card that you can purchase from Amazon or eBay.

Like Pokecardex, it also has a Wishlist feature so you can keep a record of which cards you wish to own in the future.

Theres also a Deck Manager that you can use not only on the app, but also email it to yourself for using in leagues and tournaments.

Collector boasts some of the best features out of all Pokemon TCG apps but is not without its flaws. The interface is known to be glitchy at times which spoils the user experience.

Also, there is a lack of certain simple features such as being able to select multiple cards at once to delete them. You have to select one by one which is time-consuming.

New Pokmon Tcg Dex Mobile App Lets You Catalogue Your Collection And Discover New Cards

The Pokémon Company International has released a brand new smartphone and tablet app that will no doubt be a dream come true for all budding Pokémon Trading Card Game players.

Called Pokémon TCG Card Dex, the app allows you to scan in all of your Pokémon Sun & Moon series cards using your phone’s camera to build up your very own checklists, while simultaneously letting you view each card when you’re out and about. You can scan cards even if they’re damaged, too, and any foreign language cards will convert to your chosen language within the app.

On top of all this, the app features a complete database of all Sun & Moon series cards split into their individual expansions. Users can filter the database by the standard expansion lists, card type and rarity, Pokémon type, Energy type, HP, and more.

At present, the app cannot track cards released before the Sun & Moon series – so you can’t save your 1st Edition Base Set Shiny Charizard, we’re afraid – but it is completely free to download and supports English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Brazilian Portuguese languages.

Pokémon TCG Card Dex is now available to download in Sweden and “will be coming soon to additional markets worldwide”.

Pokémon is still a viral trading card game. Do you need help in completing your collection? Or are you looking to trade yours for others like it? The following apps can help you manage your Pokémon collection better.

It says a lot about a trading card game when its been around for over 25 years. Pokémon remains staggeringly popular worldwide, with millions of us looking to complete our collection of trading cards and playable collectibles. You can begin to enjoy the hobby with just a few cards, especially if youre just getting started, but eventually, you may look to increase your collection. TCGPlayer is a good app in this space, allowing players to buy new sets and packs. Maybe you can get your hands on those elusive rare Pokémon that everyone craves. Bear in mind that prices will vary massively, and you need to be prepared to wait for the right card to come along.

When youve built up a reasonable collection, youll probably want to compete against others in the Pokémon world. The good news is that millions of others want to go head-to-head in Pokémon duels, where each player pits their best cards against each other. Pokémon TCG Online is probably the best platform for this and is also a place to swap your cards if you wish to trade them in for others. Trading your cards is one way of growing your collection, swapping out cards that you dont want for those you do.

Keep Track Of Your Pokmon Card Collection With A New Scanning App

The Pokémon Trading Card Game

Those who play the Pokémon TCG now have a new official piece of software in the form of the Card Dex which is supposed to be a companion management app for the physical game.

The app is available on Android and iOS as of yesterday depending on where you live with a worldwide rollout which may affect your ability to see it in on your device of choice. Here in South Africa its visible on the Google Play store, but we cant seem to track it down on the App Store.

The software boasts a scan function allowing you to simply snap a shot of your physical cards and add them to your collection tracking.

If thats not your speed you can also manually search for cards by various properties such as their hit points, type, name and more.

Those hoping to track their entire collections all the way back to the original Base Set may be disappointed to find out that the Card Dex only has support for the most recent block of cards which, at the time of writing, consists of eleven expansions.

While this may seem like a niche app, but it may be a sign of more to come. Last year we reported on the fact that a key member on the development team of Magic: Arena had made the jump and had been working for Pokémon since June 2018.

Poktch: Shiny Hunt Counter

I Buy 3 Pokemon Card Mystery Collections

Shiny Pokémon are an unusual colorfor instance, the yellow Caterpie above is usually greenand have a cool sparkle effect when they’re sent out. They are valuable because they’re so rare.

The odds of meeting a shiny Pokémon are about 1 in 4096 in Pokémon Sword and Shield, and that’s a lot more lenient than the older games. Pokétch is an app that can track your shiny hunting journey and let you show off your accomplishment when you catch one!

This app lets you enter your target Pokémon, your chosen method, and the game you’re playing. Once you’ve done that, the timer starts, and you can record your progress by just tapping your phone for each encounter.

When you finally catch your shiny, you’ll have a record of how many minutes, steps, encounters, and Poké Balls you went through to get there! For the completionists, you can also organize the record of shinies caught, arranging them by name, order caught, or Pokédex number.

It also integrates with the website Shiny Hunt, so you can easily engage with other shiny hunters while you grind encounters.

Don’t Miss: Do Pokemon Cards Have Value

How Pandemic

HADDONFIELD, N.J. — Sports card collectors can hit a home run with a new app. They can instantly learn the value of their collection. It’s like going to a card show on their phone.

It’s believed that the Greek philosopher Plato is responsible for the saying, “Necessity, is the mother of invention.” Well in Haddonfield, a pandemic-fueled Pokémon hobby may result in the next great app.

Ten-year-old Charlie Mann is the one who started collecting Pokémon cards during the pandemic, but he soon came across a problem.

“So me and my dad were like really struggling to find the prices of cards,” Charlie said.

Enter the coolest dad ever, Ted Mann.

“I spent the last 10 years of my career running companies all in the field of image recognition and visual search,” Ted said. “And so it turns out that technology works extraordinary well for trading cards.”

So they built an app.

You snap a picture of the card — front and back — and the current average price pops up. You can then add the card to your CollX collection and voila.

“Charlie definitely gets full credit for the idea,” Ted said. “We call him a co-founder because he really did have the inspiration. He was the one who had the ah-ah moments and said, ‘dad you know how to do this.'”

In two months online, the app already has over 30,000 users who can follow each other and interact with one another.

“It can find baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer and we’re working on Pokémon right now,” Charlie said.
