Pokemon Heart Gold And Soul Silver Officially Announced

Nintendo of Japan has been hinting at it recently, but now the news is official – Pokemon Gold and Silver are being remade for the Nintendo DS!

Set for a Japanese release this Fall to co-incide with the original games’ ten-year anniversary, the remakes will be remade using the revised Pokemon Platinum engine and feature all the perks afforded to them by current hardware, including all-new graphics, music and additional content.

There are currently no official plans for an international release. If the handling of Pokemon Platinum is anything to go by we can expect Ninteno of America and/or Europe to spend the next several months denying the games even exist. Won’t that be swell?

Pokemon Heartgold And Soulsilver Uk Date Announced

Nintendo Europe has announced this morning that the release date for Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver in the UK is 26th March.

In addition they have confirmed that the Pokewalker peripheral is also due for release in Europe and they’ve even been kind enough to give some additional details on how the little device operates.

The Pokewalker has a pedometer in it so you can transport a single Pokemon into the device and take it on a walk with you.

The Pokemon in the Pokewalker will gain experience as you walk, making for an alternate means of training. Once you are finished walking the Pokemon, collected items and captured Pokemon can be transferred back to Pokemon SoulSilver and HeartGold.

If you know a friend or two also taking their Pokemon for a walk, you can use the infrared port on the device to get gifts from each other. Older Pokefans may be reminded of the Virtual Pokemon “Tamagotchi” from back in the late ’90s, so this is essentially a game and a virtual pet in a box

With all of the other Pokemon merch out there on the market, this doesnt seem like something that they would need to do if they were just pushing out cuddly toys and Wobbuffet lunchboxes in time for Christmas.

No were confident that its something more exciting than that. With the final part of the DLC for Sword and Shield now available to play, there has to be a new adventure on the horizon.

Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee were released back on November 16 2018. Does that mean were weeks away from a surprise announcement?

First, you need to get all of the badges and beat Mr. Red. Afterward, you will have to get a Kanto starter from Oak and talk to Mr. Pokemon.

Pokémon Gold Version and Pokémon Silver Version are 1999 role-playing video games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Color. Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver easily won the hearts of many players when they first released in 1999 or 2000 . Players got to play the game with new starters, encounter loads of new Pokemon, and explore the Johto region and unravel the plot of the remnants of Team Rocket. What’s more is that once players complete the base game, they can then travel to the Kanto region to face off against another eight gyms – and even battle the mysterious Red atop Mt. Silver as a great way to wrap up the generation’s post-game content.

Additionally, the graphics in this generation were a great step up from Gen 1, as they were optimized to make the most of the Gameboy Color’s hardware. The gameplay for this generation was vastly improved compared to Gen 1, and players can still visit the iconic Gen 1 locations thanks to the ability to travel between Kanto and Johto. Gen 2 did already have a remake in the form of Heart Gold and Soul Silver however, these important and formative generations deserve a current-gen remake on the Switch.

Yes, you can play HeartGold and SoulSilver on your PC!

You do need a good laptop that can handle downloads.

The first step is to find your computers information as to whether its a 34-bit or 64-bit system.

Once you have this information, you can continue to download the emulator.

You now need to download the game.

You can go to only and download the game on the safe link there.

The download takes a little while to finish.

The game is 15 MB.

Once you download it, you can save it on the desktop.

You will end up with two emulators.

You can delete one of them and then you have the original emulator and the file with the rest of the downloaded material in it.

We have no idea why they suggest downloading the emulator separately.

Either way, its not a big deal.

This will extract the game files.

You can create a shortcut for everything you need and store it on the desktop for quick and easy access.

Once you open the game file, it should load.

However, you can drag and drop the emulator right into Game Freak and start playing.

From here, go to Config> Control and Config, and choose your configuration settings.

If you have a control console and are playing with that, just hit control or settings, depending on what it says, and review and choose your game settings from there.

1. Savestates usually dont work when upgrading . Just use ingame save, standard ingame saves always did and always will work between versions.2. Config> Emulation Settings: UNtick Use External Firmware image3. SoulSilver requires that? Since when? I played the original games like 100 times in my life and this game like 5 times, I dont remember a soft reset was ever needed.

Edit: I just played HG, and besides the incredible performance without any antipiracy patch I also realized CTRL+R worked like a charm to me. So Im off this thread, I have no idea whats the problem.
