Pokemon Go Downtime Will Take Servers Down For 7 Hours

Niantic is taking Pokemon Go offline for quite a while at the start of June as part of some schedule maintenance that’ll bring the servers down for a total of seven hours. Scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. PDT on June 1st, the downtime isn’t planned for off-time hours in North America either which means that it’ll render the game unplayable for a good portion of many players’ days. It hasn’t been said yet what the maintenance is for, so there’s no telling at this time if its for routine improvements and fixes or if something else is planned.

The Pokemon Go downtime was announce through the game’s social media channels to alert players of the times the game will be offline. The Pokemon Go team apologized for any inconvenience caused by the maintenance and said the game would be totally inaccessible during the maintenance period.

On Monday 1st June, Pokémon GO will experience downtime for a number of hours. If you’re concerned about your app not working as it should or any issues with your account, don’t worry – everything will be up and running again soon.

The game is planned to be down globally for seven hours, meaning you’ll be unable to play it as you normally would during that time. Below, you can see when Pokémon GO is planned to be offline in your area, as well as when it will be back online :

• Europe: 8pm to 3am
• US: 11am to 6pm / 2pm to 9pm
• Australia: 4am to 11am on Tuesday, 2nd June

As for why Pokémon GO is down? Developer Niantic has said that the game is being taken offline for server maintenance,” going on to apologise for the inconvenience caused and confirming that the downtime will “have no impact on your account”.

What Niantic specifically means by “server maintenance” is unknown, although it has been theorised that the developer may be transferring the game to new servers altogether.

Even evergreen, constant games need a little bit of TLC every now and then – which is why Pokemon Go is currently down.

On December 8th, Pokemon Unite players won’t be able to access the game for a significant period of time. The official Twitter account has revealed that the game will be undergoing maintenance starting at 1 p.m. PT, and lasting until 11 p.m. PT. During that time, the game will not be playable on any devices. The news is sure to be a disappointment for some players, and it’s unclear exactly what adjustments the team will be working on, but it probably has something to do with this week’s new update!

If you’ve come to this page just because you’re screaming “Pokemon Go down?!” after trying to log in, have no fear. It’s not broken. It’s temporary, and has a defined end time . Here’s what time the maintenance begins in each territory, plus when Pokemon Go will be back.

Pokémon GO has been reminding us about this in-game for weeks now, but its easy to forget such things even so. Pokémon GO servers are going down for maintenance today, and you wont be able to play for an extended period of time.

Currently, the maintenance is planned for 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific, or 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM Eastern. During this time, the game will be inaccessible. As with server maintenance in all places, it could be slightly shorter or longer, but this is what Niantic is projecting.

Niantic is not being specific about whats causing the downtime, but it seems like its likely that the game is transferring its databases to new servers. The team still might choose this downtime as a way to add some new stuff into the game, but we wont know anything about that until after the downtime, if that. Ive seen wishful thinking about adding levels 41-50, but I would be surprised to see that.

Pokemon Go players might be experiencing some disruptions during their gameplay, but fear not, this will be due to server maintenance from November 3, 2021, until November 6, 2021. During this period, you will be able to play the game, but you may experience some disruptions.

The Pokemon Go server maintenance is planned from November 3, 2021, to November 6, 2021, and during this time, you may experience some disruptions. To be honest, thats a long time for server maintenance, and players are not happy about that. So why, you might ask? Well, this maintenance coincides with Darkrai Raid Hour and the Festival of Lights event.

Every Wednesday in November 2021, a Raid Hour event will occur from 6 PM to 7 PM local time. The Mythical Pokemon Darkrai will appear more often in Raids on November 3, 2021. This is not looking too good, because they will start with the server maintenance on the same day as the Raid Hour event, and disruptions in Raids could be disappointing. Also, the Festival of Lights will start on November 5, 2021, and players wont be able to enjoy the event as they should due to server maintenance.

That said, we hope they fix the bugs ASAP, announce a Darkrai Raid Hour make-up event and be kind enough to surprise the Pokemon Go community with a free Box and cool items.
