The first day of the event will feature four rotating habitat hours. Different Pokemon will appear during each habitat hour and themed confetti will appear on the map. Also, certain Pokemon will appear only when an Incense is used.
The City habitat is the first and will feature Pokemon usually found in cities in the Pokemon world. Heres the list of Pokemon that trainers can find in when this habitat is active in Pokemon Go.

The Plains habitat is the second habitat that will rotate in during Pokemon Go Fest 2022. This habitat will feature a lot of Pokemon found in routes found throughout the Pokemon world including a lot of Ground types. Heres the list of Pokemon found in the plains habitat.

The Rainforest is the third habitat that will rotate in during Pokemon Go Fest 2022. As youd expect, a lot of Water, Grass and Bug types. Heres the list of Pokemon that can be found in the Rainforest habitat.

Shiny Rates For Pokmon Go Fest 2022
In general, Pokémon that spawn in the wild have a base rate of 1/450 being shiny. That varies per Pokémon and some are rarer than others. On Community Days, that rate jumps to about 1/25 for the featured Pokémon.
During this event, its unclear the exact odds, but they are far better than normal hunting. Trainers who participate in the event all day will probably not come away with all 37 shinies, but they will probably find a majority of them.
It is estimated that events like these have shiny rates of 1/125, with the featured Pokémon varying around that base rate. Trainers will find more than enough shinies during the event.

If you want your chance to join Pokémon Go Fest 2022, youll need to make sure you purchase a ticket before joining the event. Pokémon Go Fest 2022 will be from June 4 to 5, a two-day weekend event with multiple rare Pokémon appearing during the event and plenty of rewards if you buy the ticket. In this guide, we will cover how to buy a Pokémon Go Fest 2022 ticket.
Youll be able to do everything entirely from the Pokémon Go Application. Start the application, launch it, and go to the in-game store. Youll be able to select the ticket, pick the Buy button, and then a pop-up will appear indicating youve purchased the Pokémon Go Fest 2022 ticket. When you choose ok, the ticket will be in your Item Bag, and youll receive a medal for purchasing the ticket several days before the event. From Saturday, June 4, to Sunday, June 5, youll have the chance to participate in the Pokémon Go Fest 2022 bonuses offered, including the Finale day on August 27.
Those who do not purchase a Pokémon Go Fest 2022 ticket can still participate in the event with a handful of bonuses, but there wont be as many Pokémon spawns.

On Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time, Trainers with an event ticket can enjoy the following:
- For the first time in Pokémon GO, youll be able to encounter Shiny Unown N & Unown Xif youre lucky!
- Spin Photo Discs at Gyms to earn up to nine free Daily Raid Passes. These can be used only for in-person raids
- Take up to five snapshots during the event for a surprise
- Earn an extra 5,000 XP in raid rewards when you win an in-person raid!
- Earn 3× XP for spinning Photo Discs at PokéStops and Gyms
- Incense activated during the event will last two hours, and it may attract additional Pokémon, such as Unown, Torkoal, Tropius, and more.

Why Pokmon Go Fest 2022 Prices Will Anger Trainers
Although the price drop for Pokémon GO Fest 2021 was never promised to be permanent, the massive price increase for the 2022 event could upset some players. The popular mobile title has recently been embroiled in community backlash after Pokémon GO Incense items were nerfed as a part of the launch of Season of Alola in March. Niantic defended the move by claiming the changes were reverting the items back to how they were originally intended, but many Pokémon GO trainers were still furious with the decision and argued that it hurt the game’s accessibility.
The Pokémon GO community is still angry over the Incense changes, with players recently criticizing April’s Mudkip Community Day for supposedly being impacted by the nerf. With Pokémon GO Fest 2022 set to go live in June, players could build up their complaints about the annual event’s increased price. Regardless of whether they have an event ticket, all Trainers can participate in a short Special Research story, experience four unique habitats that each last for two hours, and, if theyre lucky, be among the first to encounter a Shiny Munna in Pokémon GO! Different Pokémon will appear in the wild during each habitat period, so play throughout the day to make the most of the experience.
Many of the Pokémon that will appear in the habitats and raidsor their Evolutionsare popular in the GO Battle League, so this is an excellent opportunity to catch Pokémon such as Machop, Snorlax, Meditite, and Stunfisk.
