Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu Part 11 RIVAL EVOLVED EEVEE Walkthrough Gameplay

There are four people that you need to beat . In order to get to the Elite Four, the process is quite similar to how it was in the classic Pokemon games. There are a total of 8 Pokemon Gyms who you need to go through and collect 8 Gym Badges from.

Once you have the 8 badges, you can go and take on the Elite Four.

Let us go ahead and look at all of the Pokemon that people in the Elite Four have. Remember that once you defeat them, you can come back and face them again, but they will have better Pokemon and will be a tougher challenge than they were before.

Legendary Pokmon Take Flight

To be fair, threeof the four Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon:Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’sGo, Eevee!Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltrescan be encountered before becomingthe Pokémon League Champion. But you need to decide whether you want to attemptto catch them before or after taking on the EliteFour. Unlike most wild Pokémon encounters in these games, you will have tobattle the Legendary Pokémon before attempting to catch them. Holding off onyour attempts gives your Pokémon team time to level up more, potentially makingthe battles easier. On the other hand, if you do manage to catch them beforearriving at the Indigo Plateau, you can bring them into your battles againstthe Elite Four.

Articuno can befound deep within the cave in the Seafoam Islands, which is located on Route 20along the southern edge of the Kanto region. This Ice- and Flying-type Pokémonhas a double weakness to Rock-type moves, but Fire-, Electric-, and Steel-type moveswill prove useful as well.

Zapdos hangs out atthe Power Plant, which can only be reached by using Sea Skim on Route 10 to reach the out-of-the-way facility. As anElectric- and Flying-type Pokémon, Zapdos is weak against Ice- and Rock-typemoves. Ground-type Pokémon won’t take damage from the Legendary Pokémon’sElectric-type moves, but at the same time, remember that Zapdos isn’t affectedby Ground-type moves.

Learn how to access the mysterious Enclave bunker and unlock new quests and weapons by joining them.

Pokémon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee release today, and while they may be remakes of Yellow, they both chance up the formula in many ways, including your recurring rival. This Rival is a brand new character whos far friendlier than Yellows antagonist, meaning you probably shouldn’t rename him Butts this time round. In this article well catch you up to speed on your rivals name and character in Pokémon Lets Go.

No Random Battles With Wild Pokmon

One of the biggest changes between Pokémon Lets Go and Pokémon Yellow is the change in how you capture wild Pokémon. In the new Nintendo Switch titles, you will see the wild Pokémon wandering around on-screen. This makes it easier to have encounters only with those Pokémon you are interested in capturing.

Once you encounter a wild Pokémon, you do not need to battle it to weaken it before throwing a Poké Ball. The capturing mechanic is like that of the Pokémon Go mobile game. You simply throw a Poké Ball at the Pokémon as the circle indicator shrinks.

Some long-time fans may dislike this change, while others may embrace it. While it does make it less time consuming to capture Pokémon, it is a radical departure from the main-series Pokémon games.

Pokemon: Let’s Go Has A New Rival And He’s Way Too Nice

Pokemon: Let’s Go will have a new rival character, but some longtime players will be disappointed by his helpful attitude.

Junichi Masuda, one of the lead designers and directors of the Pokemon games, showed off some footage from the new Pokemon: Let’s Go games at today’s Treehouse Live presentation at E3. During the presentation, fans got their first look at “Trace,” the new rival character for the players.

While Pokemon: Let’s Go is considered a remake of sorts of the classic Pokemon: Yellow games, the new Nintendo Switch games will feature a new player character instead of Red, the protagonist of the first Pokemon games. Game Freak also replaced Blue with a much kinder and less abrasive personality.

As seen in the screencaps below, the playthrough showed the player character meeting up with Trace in Pewter City. While Gary would have told players “Smell ya later!,” Trace helpfully gives players directions to the Pewter City gym and even encourages them to battle Brock to get stronger. Trace also scares easily, which isn’t exactly an intimidating trait.

Some Pokemon fans also didn’t seem too pleased about Trace’s pleasant personality.

I miss the older Pokemon games where the rival was a giant fucking asshole and you got so much satisfaction RUBBING THEIR FACE IN THE GROUND AFTER EACH DEFEAT.FUCK OFF BLUE, YOU PRICK

Trace wasn’t a character. He had no goals or drive of his own and comes across as a glorified guide who actively hurts the experience. Trace’s conversation can be summed up as “Look how cool the S.S. Anne is, don’t you remember how great it is? Now they included strong trainers! Let’s battle, I’m excited. Okay, we’re done? thanks for kicking my butt! Let’s go over here now, no you can’t progress otherwise.”

Trace offered nothing that made him special as a rival or character, as he only existed to take players to all the highlights of the early Pokémon games.

Lets Go Eevee: Alolan Vulpix And Alolan Meowth

Lets Go, Eevee has its own in-game trades for Alolan versions, but these revolve around its version-exclusive Pokémon. The first of these is Alolan Meowth, who evolves into Alolan Persian and is the only pure Dark-type in the Lets Go games.

Second is Alolan Vulpix, who is both Ice-type and Fairy-type and evolves into the fast and powerful Ninetales. This is an especially strong Pokémon and has two types that are quite rare throughout the rest of the game, and worth going after if you have this version.

Its really hard not to feel the pull of enchanting familiarity as you play.

Newcomers and those who have been out of the Pokémon loop for a few years will likely enjoy Lets Go as a gradual way to get back into the games. The Pokédex only has slots for the first 151 Pokémon from Gen 1, so youll start off with what youre already familiar with. This also keeps the type system from getting too complicated for newcomers who are unfamiliar with Pokémons current combat system. As expected, some of the Pokémon are exclusive to one game or the other, so youll have to trade with someone who has the other version in order to complete your Pokédex.

Youll also face off against all of the original gym leaders, including Brock and Misty. And of course, Team Rocket is up to their old tricks with Jesse and James popping up throughout the land. This addition makes the games feel even more like a Pokémon Yellow remake. Its really hard not to feel the pull of enchanting familiarity as you see these gorgeous renditions of an 8-bit game you played as a child.

Which To Get And Whether Its For You

Whenever a new Pokemon game comes along theres always the question of which version to get. But with Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee theres also the question of whether you should get the game at all. For the hardcore fans, theres a lot to think about here. And for newcomers, its all very confusing, Im sure. So I wanted to take a little bit to answer the question of should I get Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu or Eevee, in all its forms.

First up, is whether the game is for you at all. For that you can read through our review. There youll see that Pokemon Lets Go isnt really aimed at the longtime, hardcore fan of the series. Instead this experience serves as an intro to the deeper, more mechanically intense main series for those whove never played before, or joined in with Pokemon GO. Mixing main series elements with GO mechanics has crafted a simplified and streamlined adventure that newcomers will surely find more accessible than the main series. Those hardcore fans might get frustrated with how easy everything is though.

Now onto the second part of that question, which is basically boiled down to which version to get: Pikachu or Eevee. The simple answer is to get the one whose mascot you prefer. Depending on which you buy, either Pikachu or Eevee will be your steadfast companion throughout the game. Theyll have exclusive moves and sit on your shoulder, and you can even dress them up. So if you love Pikachu or Eevee more then go for whichever that is.

Is There Anything Else You Can Do With Your Pokmon

    All Rival Battles Pokemon Let

Youll be able to bond with your Pikachu or Eevee by playing, feeding, and petting them in the style of Pokémon Refresh from Sun and Moon and Pokémon Amie from X and Y. Youll also be able to dress up your partner Pokémon in various outfits and even change its hairstyle.

Update : Unlike with previous games, youll be able to change wild Pokémons natures by visiting a fortune teller NPC. The natures raise and lower stats and are a crucial part of competitive battling.

Update :Dressing your trainer and your partner Pokémon requires navigating to the Clothing Trunk inside of your bag. From there, you can select outfits and accessories. You start off with a Sporty Outfit set for both you and your partner and as you travel through Kanto, youll encounter NPCs who will bequeath you some new threads.

Changing your partners hair requires playing in handheld mode. Youll have to enter the Play menu and stroke the screen in various movements with varying amounts of fingers in order to get the desired hairstyle.

Update : You can select a Pokémon to walk around with you in addition to your partner Pikachu or Eevee. And if that selected Pokémon is big enough, you can even ride on it.

Debating Between Pokemon Pikachu Or Eevee Version

Which game version is better? Any suggestions?

I dont know about Eevee moves but Zippy Zap for Pikachu has cleared out a lot of battles for me.

Eevee gets a move for every type it can become. Eevee is so broken

Id personally say eevee. Eevees tail is more visible when wagging to show you item locations, there are outfits for every eeveelution, and shes just the cutest little thing. One of those is obviously an opinion. But just jump to whatever draws you in. Youll have a blast either way.

When you evolve Eevee does it follows you?

Pikachu has Sandshrew, Growlithe, Mankey, Grimer, Scyther, and Oddish. Eevee has Ekans, Vulpix, koffing, Pinsir and Bellsprout. Pikachu only gets a couple of new movesbut Eevee gets a whole list of new moves that cover pretty much any type. The Eevee starter is better competitively.

I got Pikachu because I prefer Growlithe and Vileplume . Also Pikachu over Eevee as a starter.

I have both versions and personally I prefer the eevee version. Like others on here have said, eevees tail wagging is much easier to see when looking for hidden items, and eevee has more special moves that it can learn. Aside from that, I couldnt say which is better, theyre both exactly the same game aside from a few pokemon being specific to each version.

Who Is Your Rival In Pokmon Lets Go

Pokémon Lets Gos rival is officially named Trace, and this time round hes much more of a friendly source of inspiration than an enemy, pushing you to take your teams further together each time you meet . Depending on which version of the game you pick, your rival will start with the alternate Pokémon if you pick Eevee hell take Pikachu, and vice versa though Trace is decent enough not to steal them at least . As usual youll encounter Trace several times throughout the course of the game as he adds to and strengthens his team. You can expect his Pokémon to increase in levels and moves each encounter, and hell also add new members to his team as the game progresses.

As well as testing your battle skills, Trace will also offer useful advice like pointing you in the direction of the nearest gym and encouraging you to take a crack at the leader. He’s also a bit of a wuss, and will be spooked by various things throughout the game. The change from a confrontational, bully-like rival to a friend is an interesting one, which series director is partly largely to improvements in graphics and facial animations. In short, they didnt want to rival to come across as too mean. That said, anyone who can bring themselves to evolve Pikachu is a monster in our books.

To make these even more special, some alternate-typed species from Pokémon Sun & Moon are available that you cannot trade for in Lets Go, Eevee.

For Lets Go, Pikachu, this includes the Ice-type Alolan Sandshrew, who evolves into Sandslash and is one of the only Steel-type Pokémon in the game. You also can trade for Alolan Grimer, who gains the equally elusive Dark-type in addition to Poison.

    He’s Idealistic But Fearful

Trace makes a great effort to do the right thing. He helps the player battle Team Rocket at Silph Co. and even holds off multiple Admins while the player goes and battles Giovanni. He expresses fear and doubt before every battle, though, but he always ends up doing the right thing.

Trace also holds an overly optimistic view of the world. When he meets the orphaned Cubone at the Pokémon Tower, he promises he will help it avenge its mother’s death and adopts it into his team. Trace may not be the most courageous, but he isn’t afraid to step up.
