Pokemon GO – HOW TO GET EPIC EGG POKEMON!

During Adventure Week, which runs from June 7 to June 12, players are tackling various tasks and timed research projects. There are two Field Research tasks involving the need to hatch eggs. Well detail them below, along with the reward they come with:

  • Task: Hatch 2 Eggs || Reward: Aerodactyl encounter
  • Task: Hatch 4 Eggs || Reward: Tirtouga or Archen encounter

So, once you figure out how to hatch four eggs in Pokèmon Go, youll be able to get both of the rewards. Also, both Archen and Tirtouga have the chance to be Shiny. So, its worth pursuing these tasks.

First of all, to hatch eggs, you need to have them. Go ahead and start spinning some Pokèstops if you have no eggs.

Once you do, simply do as youve always done to hatch eggs in Pokèmon Go. Go to your Pokèmon menu and select eggs. In this case, it doesnt matter what type of egg you hatch, as the Field Research task doesnt specify it. So, feel free to choose any egg youd like.

When you do, place it in an Incubator. If you have no eggs to hatch in Pokèmon Go, simply buy them from the Shop.

With the egg in place, now its time to walk. Remember to keep your app open, so your movements are tracked. Once youve walked enough, youll see the app menu change, and your egg will soon hatch.

Now, just do this four times to hatch four eggs to get the reward in Pokèmon Go. From here, youve increased your chances of encountering Aerodactyl, Tirtouga, and Archen.

How To Hatch Eggs In Pokmon Go

To hatch an egg, put the egg in an Incubator. All players will have one orange Incubator that they can use forever. Incubators can only hold one egg at a time. All other Incubators can be used three times before they disappear. Additional Incubators are purchased with coins .

Regular Incubators hatch eggs the same way the orange unlimited Incubator does, but Super Incubators cut the distance you need to hatch by one-third.

Having more than one Incubator means being able to incubate more than one egg at a time and thus more hatches for the same amount of walking. Its by no means mandatory to use more than the free unlimited Incubator, but if youd like to speed up your progress, its an option.

After your egg is in an Incubator, you just have to walk around. If you have Adventure Sync turned on, you can walk around with the app closed to hatch eggs.

Why Are My Steps Not Tracking

There are many reasons why your eggs might not be hatching, despite walking around. If your egg is in an Incubator, and its not tracking your walk distance, make sure you have your Adventure Sync turned on in your games settings. This will track your walking even when the app is closed.

Your device will need to both give Pokémon Golocation and fitness permissions. For iOS users, youll need to go into your device settings, tap Privacy, Location Services, Pokémon Go, and then allow Location Permissions to be on always. Android users will need to go into device settings, tap Apps & Notifications, Pokémon Go, Permissions, and make sure Location is on.

For fitness permissions, iOS users will need to open the Health app, tap their Apple ID icon, Apps, and make sure Pokémon Go has access to health data. Android users will need to open the Google Fit app and make sure Pokémon Go is a connected application in your settings.

The game also doesnt update your distance walked constantly. For example, if you put an egg into an Incubator and walk .5 kilometers, it may not update and reflect this immediately. It will eventually update, so youll need to give it some time.

Pokemon Go Guide: How To Get Eggs

Pokémon GO October 2020 Egg Shakeup

Pokemon Go players love hunting down and catching rare and powerful Pokemon. However, there are other ways of adding Pokemon to your growing collection. Eggs, the little items that push you to walk, bike, and sometimes drive long distances just to see what is inside. Weve already shown you how to hatch eggs fast, and we also laid out what Pokemon might hatch from inside, but where do these eggs even come from? Well tell you in our guide on how to get eggs in Pokemon Go.

Unfortunately there isnt some easy method of gaining a bunch of brand new Pokemon eggs. Theres only one way to get new eggs in Pokemon Go, and it cant really be manipulated or exploited. Pokestops, the fancy locations where you get new Pokeballs and other supplies can also drop Pokemon eggs at random times.

Theres no way to know when theyll do it, as the rewards are all random based around what items you can get at your level. One thing that you do need to keep in mind is that you can only carry nine Pokemon eggs at any one time. There is also no way to get rid of Pokemon eggs in Pokemon Go, so you have to hatch them all.

2km eggs might not interest you all that much, but youll have to hatch them the usual way if you want to clear some inventory space. you should check out the guide linked above and get hatching. A Pokestop wont drop an egg for you if there is no space for it in your inventory. Make sure there are open spots at all times, if you want to get those fresh Pokemon eggs.

Use Your Incubators Wisely

Now that you have what you need, use them with a little strategy. The orange infinity incubator can be used, well, infinite times, while the blue incubators can only be used a few times. However, the limited-use incubators hatch eggs quicker than the infinity incubator.

Typically, you get way more 2 km and 5 km eggs than 10 km eggs. The higher the distance, the better chances you have of hatching a super-rare Pokemon. You can’t just ignore your 2 and 5 km eggs and hatch 10 km eggs, though, because you have limited space and the lower-distance eggs will fill your bag up quickly. You only get nine egg spaces, after all, and eggs can’t be deleted.

So, you need to get rid of those lower mileage eggs as quickly as possible to make sure you leave room for 10 km eggs. Since it takes more time to hatch a 10 km anyway, pop those in your infinity incubator. Put your smaller-mileage eggs into the limited-use incubators and get them hatched and out of the way.

Low-distance eggs have been known to hatch rare Pokemon too, so you’re not hatching them for nothing. Plus, every egg hatched gives you experience and candy.

Why Your Eggs Just Wont Hatch

Sometimes, no matter what you do, your distance doesnt seem to be counted and your eggs just dont hatch.

The No. 1 reason your egg probably isnt hatching is server issues. While youre walking around, make sure the white PokeBall isnt spinning in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. This means that the game is loading or has an error. If the spinning loading ball doesnt disappear, stop walking and shut down the game. Restart it and see if the loading ball is gone. If so, continue your walk.

Another problem is that you may be going too fast. If the game feels like youre going too fast, around 20 m per hour, it wont register your distance. So riding along in a car thats going down the highway wont hatch your eggs.

Finally, make sure your screen is on the entire time you walk. If you let your screen shut off, the game will stop registering mileage.
